Perfect location, very cute inn, clean, breakfast was great!, pool area was cute, peaceful. Loved it.
The pull out bed wasn’t very comfortable but that’s it.

Customer service was impeccable.
Inn on the Pine is a charming little place to stay.
It has, in its recent past, gone through renovation and the room, breakfast area, and pool area are clean, fresh and well looked after.
The little extras - like cookies, fruit and filtered water - tea (of all sorts - which important to us Brits - stereotypical I know but true!) coffee, robes and towels for the pool, and drawers of board games to play - all a lovely touch.
You of course could stay at the more swanky places in Calistoga but I would save your money and book here, a gem of a place for budget and good old school hosting and treat yourself to a wine tasting instead.
The receptionist Gary who welcomed us treated us to the most genuine, warmest of welcomes - customer service wise the best we have had in a long time. So much so, if Gary was visiting the UK I would invite him and his wife to dinner at our home!
Cookies and snacks all day!

Serene; right in the heart of Calistoga within walking distance of all restaurants. Driving 5-15 minutes to Chateau Montelena, the Petrified Forest, other wineries of interest.
Can’t think of anything.

It was perfect. Many items to choose from. Lovely fire. Coffee available most of the day and homemade cookies in the afternoon that were delicious😋.
For us the bed was a little firm. Made our older bones a little achy. Got better each night .

Not much.

rooms are clean & cozy, nice linens, fireplaces on point, breakfast was solid and staff was super kind/knowledgeable
overall appearance of the exterior is pretty basic, spa tubs aren’t very powerful/no bubble bath, also, you can ask for a pool robe, but there should just be bathrobes in the rooms too.

The Inn was very cute and the outdoor dining area with the fire pit, the pool, the sauna, the in room jet tub were all fantastic!
My only complaint has to be the bed. I was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep. The mattress was just too hard.
4.7
The service is the most outstanding and welcoming experience we had in a long time. The location is perfect. We can walk to the heart of Calistoga to enjoy all the great restaurants and shopping. The pool and spa were more than enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect with many healthy options. The outdoor sitting area was beautiful with heaters and a fire place. We could appreciate the fresh air with a good coffee.

Val gave the friendliest reception ever! The house keepers turned Kleenex to roses, tied bows to the TP and wrapped the towels like presents. The pool and hot tub were lovely! The room was quaint, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The community is filled with wine tasting, great food and lovely shops!
Book through the Inn not a third party, we paid far more than we would have if we had booked directly through The Inn on Pine.
