We love staying at Hyacinth cottage. It is close to town and always very comfortable and well stocked with everything we need. We will be returning later in the year. It is like a home away from home for us. Allan is a very gracious and thoughtful host.

The property was close to town and well-apppointed with everything you could need. The owner was very responsive and considerate in his communication. The decor had old world charm - absolutely loved all the art prints which reminded me of my childhood. Most surprising were the thoughtful groceries and treats provided in the fridge and cupboard which were both delicious and convenient. 100% would return.

Walking distance to town, galleries, parks, eateries. Quaint property but clean, spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely quiet street. We experienced quite hot weather during our stay and although the cooling system worked we could have done with a pedestal fan in our bedroom to circulate the air. We couldnāt open the window in the bedroom and the front and back hallway doors were not screened so we couldnāt leave them open either. The host was extremely generous with breakfast provisions which we didnāt expect. Communication was excellent. Overall our stay was absolutely super and highly recommended.

As soon as we opened the front door to Hyacinth Cottage we felt immediately at home and so relaxed. It is a beautiful comfortable home and Allan provides heaps of goodies to make your stay easier, as well as special treats. This time it was raspberry friands which were so good.
I wish I hadnāt told my friends about this home as one of them got in ahead of me and booked it for our next Bendigo workshop weekend.

An amazing house that feels more like a home. Beautifully presented and immaculately clean located in a great position easy journey to shops, restaurants and to other destinations close by, in our case Chateu Dore. Well equipped, two showers and two
Toilets. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast supplies were amazing and we all enjoyed the home made cake with a delicious cup of tea. We are regular visitors to bendigo to see family and will certainly look to book here again.

We loved our stay at Hyacinth House!
Gorgeous property and the breakfast provisions left were abundant and delicious (as were the other little treats left by Allan the host!)
Walking distance to the city centre and a pub literally around the corner, the Brougham Arms, where we enjoyed a beautiful meal.
We will be back for sure, thanks for having us and for being pet friendly as our dogs also loved the break.

We loved our stay at Hyacinth House. It is very comfortable and in a brilliant location to access the CBD and wander enjoying the beautifully renovated period homes in the neighborhood. Special mention for the Brougham Arms hotel only 300 metre stroll which serves excellent food. We were very impressed by our hosts generosity with the food items provided for the continental brekkie and a homemade cake! Beds are very comfortable. Our fur baby was very comfortable being able to relax in the sun in the delightful courtyard. We heartily recommend Hyacinth House and look forward to returning to enjoy more of what Bendigo has to offer.

Better equipped kitchen than home, lots of utensils, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery. Spacious 3 bedrooms with extra blankets and bedding, and only a 5 minute walk from all the shops and the middle of town. An emphasis on comfort but a home with character. Weāll be back.

What a beautiful home to be able to stay in for our introduction to relocating to Bendigo. The house was located in a quiet street within walking distance to the shopping complex. Allan had thought of all the little things that make you feel at home, such as providing milk, juice ,breakfast goodies. Electric blankets (we stayed in July) and central heating. Even down to the little gold fish that we enjoyed feeding. We didnāt want to leaveā¦.thank you again Allan it was the best introduction to Bendigo .

Hyacinth House is a very comfortable home located on a quiet street in a lovely, friendly neighbourhood in Bendigo. The house is very clean, well-equipped, and furnished.
I stayed for 8 nights on a work trip with my dog. There is a small, fully fenced garden, and the neighbourhood is lovely to walk around, with parks within easy walking distance. If you are staying for work, be aware there is no WiFi, so you will need to have an external internet source.
Allan is a very considerate host and includes breakfast and basic provisions. The homemade muffins and slice were a lovely touch. As a host, Allan is available but not intrusive,

What a fabulous place to stay! Comfortable, spacious, quiet neighbourhood yet a quick straight trip into the CBD. But it was the little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home - a homemade cake!!!, fresh fruit, the glass already in the bathroom for our toothbrushes, the exquisite and eclectic art work. I was looking for a place that my husband could relax in comfort while I was off at workshops, and this home was just perfect. Thank you so much!

We could not have asked for anything more. A true home away from home. The very generous breakfast provisions that were supplied were a surprise and were very much appreciated! We didn't go hungry that's for sure. To be able to have our fur babies with us at lovely properties like this is the reason we travel often. The house was spotless, beautifully presented and we truly loved the attention to detail. It's not often you can stay at such a lovely place where everything you need is supplied and everything actually works. Well done Allan the place is a credit to you. Thank you.
