Convenient location close to ski lift and ski school, clean unit with plenty of space, well-appointed, and great amenities like jacuzzi and pool!

Everything about the stay was fine except the ad said there would be ac and there wasn’t. Thankfully the staff helped us out quickly. They put a portable ac unit in the living room. Unfortunately the main bedroom would never cool off at night- no matter how many fans we used. We love the location of the lodge.

Very neat and convenient. But there is a smell…

Very convenient location for families — close to lift and ski school. Unit was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Best spot ever for easy access to Eagle Lodge! Unit was terrific- right off the elevator so didn't have to lug suitcases and groceries very far- a big plus! Clean, well appointed, large enough so my family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out. Eagle right across the street! We will definitely stay here again.Plenty of towels for jacuzzi. Everything well thought out.

Condo was very cozy and in the perfect location. It was so nice taking breaks there instead of the lodge!

Stayed at this great condo for our family vacation. Fantastic location and such a fun place to stay with kids

Location was great! Pool and jacuzzi fantastic! Grounds and condo very clean! Staff very friendly and helpful! We will be back for ski season!
6.0
The condo was extremely stinky. We had to have the windows open the whole time. There was either mildew or something that died somewhere.
Also, a bummer not to be able to see out the windows at all. But that is part of an epic winter. Crazy that on a second-floor apartment you couldn't see out at all due to excessive snow.
Overall, we liked the place and loved the location, just really frustrating to have it smell.

We had our only difficulty on actually figuring out parking and getting to our room. The rest was a breeze. The rooms were great, clean. Kitchen could be outfitted with a few more items, ie coffee, blender, mixing bowls.

Management company was extremely responsive and helpful in every way. 5 star! Property was nice and beds comfortable.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay, although I feel like we overpaid for what we got, but I will write it off to booking only two weeks prior to coming. It was nice having three bedrooms and a kitchen within walking distance to the slopes. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and beds were comfortable enough. The unit itself was close to the lobby so it was noisy from time to time as the front door was very thin. Overall though, it was a nice option.

Good location but noisy
You cannot beat the location of this property BUT the condo needs some work! First, immediately upon check in we noticed a smell. As our time there progressed the smell got worse. The thermostats do not work properly and you cannot adjust temp...so you burn up! Even when we switched all fireplaces/thermostats to off...it didnt matter! The thermostat constantly said it was 76 degrees. We had to open doors to cool it off. Finally, as a 2nd floor unit directly next to the lobby the sounds from everywhere are SO LOUD. People walking on floor above sound amplified. In fact, if you are in master bathroom and the guest above are in the bathroom it causes your bathroom lights to flicker off!
Location cant be beat, so place is ok as long as you spend no time in the actual condo! Between the smell and sounds we will not be back and would not recommend. Even our 17 year old BOY said it smelled...so you know it was bad!

Great location. The living space is on the small part for a 3 bed condo.

Amazing location, nice condo
Great condo at Juniper Springs with ski in / ski out. Only criticism is lack of dining table. Also the carpet near the balcony doors in the MBR were wet from melting snow leaking through but this is understandable given the weather at Mammoth Mountain this winter. Great condo. Would stay again.

Great location
Loved the proximity to the lakes and views at resort were really nice but this unit was above the parking lot so somewhat noisy. Couch very large which is good for large groups but dining for more than 4 people very awkward. Carpets and couch should be cleaned as they had a musty odor. Very hot in unit and box fans noisy and ineffective. Would recommend adding ceiling fan in main living area and replace box fan with something quieter and more efficient.

We enjoyed our stay at your Juniper Springs #203. It was very clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were nice. Thank you for having us!

Well appointed unit and great location.
This unit was very nice and had all the amenities. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the unit was extremely warm and we had to use all the box fans provided. Additionally, the walls and ceiling are thin and it was a bit noisy.

Great location
We had a great stay in Mammoth. The property was convenient and well appointed. The building itself had a musty/smoky smell which was off putting. The unit was clean, but not as tidy as you would expect considering all of the random fees they threaten to charge you. That being said, we did thoroughly enjoy our stay at Juniper Springs and everyone we encountered in Mammoth were super friendly and helpful.

The property is dated. The unit itself is ok but the check in was too time consuming. Apparently, a code was to be sent for early check in( thank you for that) that we did not receive. Finally we were able to get it. Then instructions were received to reset a private code, however, they weren’t the complete instructions, more time spent waiting... it seemed that the owners were more interested in money than comfort -if entering early or leaving late, a fee is charged, if the tablet isn’t on the charger and on the stand- if all the windows and doors aren’t locked - ; if a light is left on- if the blinds and curtains arent closed - if the trash isn’t brought to the dumpster-etc etc a large fee is charged-we had to bring our own blankets, which we knew, but in a closest were blankets in a plastic bags which had signs on them- a HUGE fee is charged if opened. .NOWHERE in the check out instructions does it stay- thank you for coming, hope you enjoyed your stay etc etc- it seemed that it was more about $$ than the guests comfort. so- we will charge for time lost checking in, for finding dirty underwear and socks in master bedroom dresser. Which of course won’t be paid , but you get the point.
The beds were comfortable!

Juniper springs is the best place to stay
We usually stay at Juniper springs and decided to go through vrbo for the price and layout. It was perfect for 2 families with kids. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed, plenty of towels and space on the couch. Keep in mind there isn’t a real table space but there is counter space. We weren’t able to use the complimentary night shuttle since we didn’t book through juniper but we drove instead. I would stay here again.

Ski in ski out magic
Our family enjoyed the week between Christmas and New Years Eve with a rare vacation shared by our daughter and grandson who live in Shanghai and our son who lives in Los Angeles. The ski in and ski out magic was such a great benefit since my wife chose not to ski but rest, and prepare lunch and dinner every day. We skied the first chairs up, came down at noon for a great family lunch, and went back up Eagle Lift for more hours of ski fun and returned to dinner, 3 hot tubs and a heated pool. There is nothing like Juniper Springs in the Mammoth Lakes area. The unit was very large, spacious and comfortable. We found that a kitchen table would have been a great addition but the counter was sufficient to host the meals alongside the smaller credenza-console table that is set against the sofa. The management responded immediately to a thermostat and fireplace issue we encountered on arrival. This is a very comfortable condo for two couples and 2 kids or 2 adults on the large bunks.

Fabulous stay!
Juniper Springs is a great spot, and this condo was perfect! We visited during a heat wave during August, and the manager had a fan sent to our room within the hour. Beds were very comfortable, jacuzzi was nice after long day, instructions were great, and the property has EV charging stations! Will be returning

Great Condo
This property was in a great location in Mammoth and only 1.5 miles to the Villiage. Less than a mile to the local grocery store. My family of 5 and I stayed here for 5 days in early August 2019. The unit was very nice and clean. Enough dishes and toiletries for our stay was provided. The pool and 3 spa was great and had a beautiful view. The condo owner was very quick to answer questions. Overall we loved our stay here at Juniper Springs Resort. Only issue was there was no dinner table, but a nice kitchen nook. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect 3 bedroom
Cannot day enough positive things about this condo. Bedrooms are well appointed and all have TVs which was nice. Condo is on the front of Juniper Springs so it gets the early morning sun and is nice and cool in the afternoon for those days when it warms into the 80’s in Mammoth. We did not elect to have any housekeeping services while we stayed and the unit was well stocked and we never felt like we needed any additional supplies for our week long stay. The amenities at Juniper Springs are fantastic. The pool was perfect heated, plenty of space in the three jacuzzis and great bbq’s available if you want to grill while staying. We will stay here again next year if possible.

Family 4th of July in Mammoth
At first I was a little confused as to who we were renting from, not realizing that Five Star was an agent for the owner using VRBO. Very nice renting through them. The info notebook was a plus.
Our family loved the condo. Well maintained and well equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished.
Two small items:
1-A non slip mat in the bathtub would be helpful.
2-The knives were really horrible. They just did not cut at all. I usually pack one, but forgot it this trip.
My nephew brought one of his from home.
All in all we had a great 4th in Mammoth.
Juniper Springs is a perfect location, summer and winter. Thank you!

Excellent location for skiing, hotel-like experience
This was a hassle-free experience, start to finish. This 2nd floor unit is small for 3-bedrooms (2 couples and maybe 2 kids, max), and the view on the second floor is of the entry/parking lot, but we did not expect a mountain view at this price in ski season. Well maintained, some furnishings are newer; no table, just stools at the small kitchen counter. 3 new TVs. Maid service had cleaned it like a hotel room, with nice bed linens. This was a short ski trip for a couple with no kids, so it suited our purposes. We would go back.

Fun Time
We decided to go to Mammoth last minute for a family fishing trip and found the Juniper Springs Resort and took a gamble on the condo. We were very happy with the condo and accommodations. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed to live there for a week. The TV’s are brand new and are not shown in the pictures. The location is on the outskirts of town, but Juniper Srings has a shuttle which took us anywhere we wanted to go. The resort also had a pool and three jacuzzi’s which my family took advantage of everyday. We also utilized the barbques which were outside by the pool. We really enjoyed are stay. The only concern we had was the condo got very hot, as it was hot in Mammoth, and didn’t cool down until late at night, but we would definitely stay here again.

Stay and Play
Right next to Eagle Lifts! Next to elevator and stairs on 2nd floor. Very convenient for parking garage and locker as if you can take the stairs you never have to wait for the elevators. Mostly quiet except for the pitter patter of kids upstairs. Spacious and clean. No property keys in the room at our check in. Called and they brought keys in about 25 minutes. Fireplaces didn’t work and there were ash trays on the balconies. Questionable about how they check the rooms after each visitor. We didn’t call about these issues as we were running about enjoying the mountain and all the activities literally until we had to check out! Other than those minor issues we loved our stay! The room was perfect for our family to lounge about and cook a few meals. Fitness center is small and old. Pool and jacuzzi were ok.
