About this house rental
We built this beautiful modern cabin in 2004 with all the character and furnishings you'd expect in an idyllic Rocky Mountain home. Incredible mountain views surround you, yet you can walk to the coffee shop, restaurants, and the recreation path takes you to Breckenridge, Copper or around Lake Dillon. The major ski areas are just minutes away (Copper: 8 miles, Breckenridge: 10 miles, Keystone: 12 miles, Vail: 25 miles, Beaver Creek: 35 Miles, Winter Park: 60 miles, Steamboat: 90 Miles).
Our home is about 2000sf with off-street parking for 4+ cars. The main level has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two full size beds). The upper level has the master suite (queen bed) in addition to the large loft area (convertible futon) which is open to the living room below. A washer and dryer as well as a boot/gear drying room make extended stays convenient, and there is an ON-SITE CARETAKER (they have a separate entrance to their apartment) should an emergency arise.
Summit County has a free shuttle system which can take you almost anywhere with your bikes and skis. The shuttle stop is four blocks away and can get you to the base of Copper Mountain in as little as 10 minutes or Breckenridge in 15. If you need to rent skis or bikes there are numerous shops in town that will be happy to accommodate you. Most of your shopping needs can be taken care of right in Frisco as well; from family run shops, galleries and restaurants to Whole Foods, Starbucks, fast food, Safeway and Walmart.
We are dog friendly for the well behaved family pooch. The pet fee is $30/night/dog (max 2).
Also please, no dogs on furniture, pick up after them outside (and in) and we require dogs to be crated if left unattended inside the house. If your dog has an accident let us know immediately so professional carpet cleaning can be arranged.
We are a registered lodging business with the Town of Frisco…Lodging License #: 010193

This was our second summer in Frisco, same rental house. Perfect location, perfect house. You can bike everywhere on the rec path (to Breck, Copper, Keyston and Lake Dillon), which is so close to the house; or just walk into town, only a few blocks away. The deck on the house is a major plus. 5 stars!!!

Frisco / Summit County Gem!
Exceptional property - roomy, clean, love the log cabin concept, and in a central location that is hard to beat. Walk to mainstream Frisco - Summit County Hike/Bike pathway a short walk/bike ride away. Free bus ride / stop 5 mins from house to Breck. Centralized to allow short drives to Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Breckenridge. Easy, Intermediate and Expert hikes within easy reach / short drive. We'll be back in the Winter for ski season!

Weekend stay in Frisco
Our family had a lovely time at this beautiful cabin. It was in the perfect location. We hiked, biked, play games, saw moose, had breakfast and dinner in town, etc. Tons to do here.

We really enjoyed our stay in Frisco. What a charming town. In these times, they were doing everything they could do keep all safe and yet keep business going. The cabin was in a perfect spot, walking distance from it all. It was a quiet spot to chill after our long days of outdoor activities. There is a couple that lives below the cabin but no trouble at all. They made a point to introduce themselves the second we got there(which was comforting) and never saw them after that.We would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to any family of 5 venturing that way.

Fall Family Fun in Frisco
This was the perfect fall family getaway location in the mountains! We were looking for a convenient location to meet up with our son who lives in Wyoming. This mountain retreat was amazing! It truly had all the comforts of home and was decorated with lots of fun little accents! Loved being able to walk into town with our two pups! Lots of space for the five humans, too! Having the washer and dryer downstairs was a bonus. And our location was so close to Breckenridge, Copper, Georgetown, Vail, Leadville and more! It was so much fun being in Colorado in the fall. You don't need to wait for ski weather to enjoy this lovely mountain getaway!

This is a great house in Frisco that is centrally located to ski slopes at Loveland and Fine Dining in Frisco. Great views of the mountains from the house. Nice kitchen and plenty of room downstairs for 8 to gather and spend time together. I highly recommend!

4th of July Get Away
Dean your cabin was terrific! We really enjoyed the location and your place had all the amenities. It was just the right size for 6 adults and 2 little dogs. Frisco is such a great little town, the people, the restaurants, the hiking and biking. Thanks for making this booking and check-in/out easy. Suzanne & Rob

All the comforts of home (and then some!)
We've stayed at a lot of properties in Summit County, but this is definitely one of the best! From the location, to rustic decor, to having nearly everything we can imagine to make our stay comfortable -- it was all-in-all a very positive experience. Owner Dean was extremely responsive before, during and after our stay. We'd definitely stay there again.

Terrific property for family gathering
This is a well designed property with loads of amenities. They have furnished it like you would furnish your own house. I love that they have cabinets and cupboards labeled, with things like "spices" and "free food" (things like flour, oil, sugar, and
]coffee) so you aren't constantly running to the store. They also have chargers for phones and tablets all over the house, which is awesome. Water pressure in the showers was great. There is a full sized washer and dryer downstairs, and like the kitchen, they have detergent, which is incredibly thoughtful. Great place to stay in Frisco!
We were here in March so it was snowy and cold, and having the fireplace was nice.

Perfect Family Accommodations!
Dean’s place was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room, a large kitchen, plus has that cabin atmosphere that we wanted. The best thing was though, that we got to bring our furry family member! He is part of our family too, so having such a nice place to bring him too, was awesome! I was also happy with how centrally located the house was. We skied in Keystone, but also spent some time in Breckenridge. Each area was only a short drive away, so it fit our needs well. Dean was quick to reply making all communication super easy. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Lovely house. Cozy and well appointed. Short enough walk to the mountain shuttle.
Comfortable great room with a warm gas fireplace. Only thing I would say to improve is the beds are starting to dip in the middle.

We would stay again.

Perfect log cabin home in the residential part of Frisco. Very clean and comfortable home.
Great location for skiing Copper, Breck, A-Basin and Keystone. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Fans and humidifiers in each bedroom were appreciated! Helpful to have laundry in the basement. Joan, the permanent renter in the basement unit, was super nice, but the only suggestion would be to add a lock on the basement door or fix it so that it actually shuts. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

perfect ski cabin
What a comfortable retreat this cabin is...perfect location central to everything.
enough space for a family (or two) to relax and enjoy an escape to the mountains.
Easy access even in winter; yet very quiet location. It has everything needed for a "home away from home" and has a great rustic feel to it; especially when it's cold outside. This was perfect for base camp for skiing and our whole family had a great relaxing getaway.

Great Stay!
My family and I stayed at the house for 5 nights in February. The location is excellent! Walking distance to Main St. Frisco which is loaded with great restaurants and shops. The house is only a short drive to Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. The place has great character and is very comfortable. We would recommend for any season! Thanks

We especially enjoyed the porch. Loved sitting out in the evening and watching the changing weather. Very comfortable home. Well stocked. Liked having a washer and dryer so accessible.

The cabin was very nice and had great décor for its location. The location of the cabin was very near both town and mountain trails which was convenient, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We had 6 adults and two small children and there was plenty of space for all. The internet was also very good given several of us had to work during our stay. Given we had small children on the trip we had a few small issues during our stay. There is a common space for laundry on the basement level where there is permanent tenant (very nice lady), the door leading to this area did not latch or lock so had to make sure the kids did not get on the stairs. There is also no air conditioning (no big deal in the mountains) which required us to open the windows; the cabin is next to a multiply family complex so there is some noise in the evening that can keep the kids up. We also enjoy grilling a lot and the gas grill ran out of gas after two uses.
