It was a lovely place to stay with water views. I loved how it was spacious and equipped with everything I needed to enjoy my stay with my family. Razia had made an amazing dish for our first night and helped keep the place clean. Definately would recommend if you are after a place different from a normal resort style room in Fiji.

With no real addresses in Fiji it took a few minutes to find, but once we did what an amazing place to stay! Fiji was beautiful and to wake each morning with a spectacular view of the ocean over the beautiful greenery below was relaxing and enjoyable. Host was very helpful. A Very Enjoyable place to stay.

We had a great stay at Alia place. It was very comfortable, stylish and exactly what we were looking for. It was a great home with a beautiful view. We recommend having a car though if you are staying there. It is a bit off the beaten trail so having a car is very helpful. The map as to how to get there is very helpful but if at all possible recommend arriving during daylight hours. The caretaker was amazing-providing recommendations on things to do, places to stay and even talked us through real time getting there. Thank you so much Razia -you were a life saver!!!

Ticked the boxes in so many ways. The sort of place we could easily hang out a month! Thanks again :)

Seema, the property manager, housekeeper was excellent. She would have come daily if we had wanted her to. She had fresh pineapple, bread, butter, coffee, cereals there, basics like sugar, salt, spices were there too.
Basic utensils and cooking supplies were there. Stove is propane, there is a BBQ and a dishwasher (did not use)
The view is lovely, on a hill so need to be aware it is a long walk to the main road if you don’t have a vehicle. Laundry facilities were great, detergent and cleaning supplies plentiful. Lots of towels. Outside lawn chairs would have been nice but there is a covered patio to sit at just no sun there. Be aware little ants and baby geckos are everywhere and do get inside but are harmless! Thank you Alia and Seema, so easy to communicate with you both.

The view was sublime.
The hill up was manageable with a small rental car (narrower was likely better than a big SUV).
Nearby excursions we enjoyed were watching fish from the pier, beach front pool, horseback riding on Maui Bay beach by the pier, Bieusevu waterfalls, Sigatoka sand dunes, Mana Island full day trip, Beqa Island/Lawaki beach day trip, rain and thunderstorms from the million dollar view.
We stayed with two kids over Christmas with a lovely tree set up upon arrival.
Tips: leave the door closed so as not to let tropical critters inside (but the geckos were most welcome).

Perfect holiday home to relax and unwind in while enjoying the beautiful sea view! The home is very well kept and had all that is needed for a lovely holiday on the Coral Coast.
Alia was an incredibly welcoming, accommodating and generous host. We will definitely be returning to this special place when we have an opportunity to.

The home is beautiful and private. Was the perfect place for our family of 5. Everything was clean and worked properly, and the owner was easy to get ahold of and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you Alia for a wonderful stay. Your home was perfect for our family of four. An amazing view, well equipped and a great place to relax. So enjoyed waking up and looking out at the sun coming up and just laying there listening to the sound of the waves and birds chirping. So peaceful!! We went on adventures during the day and spent a lot of time at the Warwick Hotel, lounging at the pool, swimming at the beach and eating lunch. Sorry to have missed the Eco Cafe, but they were closed on Monday. Maybe next time.

Fantastic Villa with caretaker who was wonderful. Seema took us to the Sigotoka markets where we bought all fresh produce on Day 1 & then onto the supermarket which set us up for the week. Stayed with 2 small children 2 & 4. Lots of toys & books to occupy them. Seema also looked after the children a few times & they loved her. She is truly an asset to this property.
Beautiful view of sea. Minutes drive to pool which was clean, private & right beside the sea.
We cooked lots there so everything you needed to cook & bake was provided. Great outdoor seating area to soak up the peace & privacy.
Easy drive to great cafe - (eco cafe) which was fine for 2 kids. The drive way was not too steep - we had an ordinary car with no issues at all. Would love to come back again!

This house has the most wonderful breezes, is very roomy, and it sits atop a hill providing a gorgeous reef view; it's as described & pictured. It keeps cool & the bbq area is nice for doing just that, or hanging out to check out the view. Steep driveway but our little suburu made it.
Maui Bay facilities are no problem to use, we played pool & swam in the pool. We parked our car in front using it as a base for our snorkel forays. **NOTE** know your tides-it makes a difference in most of the reef bays.
The 2 dinner restaurants @ Naviti are very nice & very close. Eco Cafe has good pizza & a great vibe & the Ocean Terrace @ Bedarra Inn is nice. BUY YOUR VEGGIES FROM LOCAL ROADSIDE STANDS. There is a great one a bit past Naviti. Or explore on your own. The Warwick & Outrigger are huge resorts. Natadola Beach is worth finding. We liked being by the east river. If you go to Suva have lunch @ Tikos.
All & all a very relaxing, fun vacation.

Taylor Ridge was a great offline retreat from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. My husband and two adult daughters stayed here for 8 days and loved the villa while being able to visit the resorts in the surrounding coral coast area.
The caretaker, Seema, was what made the world of difference to us. She was there when we arrived, provided a tour of the property and was a huge asset to local insight. She assisted us with replacing our less than adequate sedan rental, took my daughter and I shopping and even prepared us lamb curry which was a nice break for me.
Unfortunately it rained 3 days straight which also promoted the ants to move in with us and made it difficult to go up and down the hill since we didn't have 4-wheeled drive. So we made the most of it and played board games and did laundry (no dryer, but when the sun came out, we hung on the outdoor line.)
Recommendations:
A higher profile vehicle is definitely recommended for the dirt road that must be driven to get to the villa. And wifi is limited, so buy a sim card from Digitel at the airport for your unlocked cell to stay in touch as needed.
Water shoes are also recommended for walking on the local beach due to the coral remnants.
Visit the local resorts and either pay the daily rate or eat/drink to be welcomed.

We loved everything about the house. It was clean, lots of space, nicely decorated, very private, superb view, excellent staff etc etc. Our 4 year old boy loved all the toys and it was just such a great time we had in Fiji , thank you Taylor Ridge and Seema!! Vinaka!!

This place was absolutely perfect for our long weekend girls getaway. Easy to get to and close enough to the beach and pool for some relaxing fun. The supermarket is just down the hill for grocery, however a bit limited on what they offer so if you're planning to cook for large group, you may want to bring some of the known staples. Would definitely stay here again. Vinaka!

This was the second time I stayed at Alia’s property. When I arrived, it was raining. I poured a couple of cocktails and settled on the porch to contemplate my bad luck. But listening to the pitter-patter and watching the jungle wet with rain, a feeling of incomparable peace settled over me. A little later we put on our swimsuits and frolicked in the warm downpour. It was really fantastic! I found myself enjoying the experience even more than last time I was here. When the rain cleared up, I can honestly say I missed it. So we hit the beach. We walked on low tide along the beach from Maui Bay to the Naviti Resort and went swimming in the clear blue water on the way. My disappointment at saying goodbye to the rain evaporated I was in heaven once again. Will return over and over!

Visited Taylor Ridge with family and it was great to have all the comforts of home but in Fiji! Rather than getting two adjoining rooms in a resort for double the price, we decided to give Taylor Ridge a go. It was great to have to separate rooms with a common room, for half the price of a nearby resort! The caretaker Seema was super lovely, she cooked, babysat, and even took us shopping as the Sigatoka markets. Alia was in constant communication if we needed anything and helped us plan a trip that allowed us to experience Fiji to the fullest.
