The host was easy to get in touch with and went above and beyond for our special circumstances. The house is a historical home over 100 years old, is spacious and provides easy access to downtown. The house was basically clean and towels and sheets smelled clean. However, it could use a deep cleaning; the house smelled musty. There are some things that would make the house nicer: removing the carpet and replacing it with wood or laminate, making small repairs to door handles and locks, addressing the moldy smell in one of the top floor bathrooms, and updating some of the worn art. The bathroom on the middle floor curtains are see through at night. Adding a second refrigerator would better match the number of persons the house can accommodate.

Great property and location. We had a big group for family reunion and everyone had plenty of room. Walked to local breweries and explored Mass Ave. Would highly recommend.

The location was amazing. There was plenty of space and bedrooms for everyone. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Our 17 family members, ages 10 through 79, spent the week that included the 4th of July. We could watch several firworks displays from the corner by our home. The home is a very old historic 3 story house with plenty of bedrooms for all. It was called the Raggedy Anne home and there were alot of pictures, dolls and other memorabilia of the Raggedy Anne doll. The location was good in that it was close to a lot of restaurants, breweries and wineries. Some of the breweries were within walking distance. Several restaurants were also close enough to walk to. We all enjoyed ourselves. We found enough restaurants to accommodate all of us. We especially had fun at the Garage Food Hall, a large building with a collection of diverse eateries. We split up in four groups and played their Trivia game. One of our groups came 1st and another was 3rd. Lot of family fun.
The only major issue was the area was under construction with several street closures and noise. This is only temporary so we will still consider returning.

This house had a great location and was HUGE! Best part was it was very quiet! There were 10 of us here and when you went to bed tug couldn’t hear anyone who stayed up! The restaurant right next door was really good and very convenient!

We had 14 guys on a golf trip and this house was perfect for all of us to stay in one place. It was clean, had plenty of room, and we loved hanging out in the backyard at night. I would recommend staying here for groups.

We had a Christmas family reunion of 20 adults. The house was perfect for us in the sleeping space, kitchen space, and very large family room to watch football games and large dining room for game playing (and eating). Even though it was chilly, we spent time playing games in the outdoor space as well and sitting around the fire. The house was well equipped with seating, bedding, towels, kitchen equipment, games, and books. Loved it so much that we want to book again next year.
4.7
The house was nice, but could use some upgrades. It is quite run down and needs to have some work done to it.
4.7
Heavy highway construction within 20 yards of house. Not disclosed on VRBO website.
Steps from every room to another. Dangerous for us…six 74 year olds
Air conditioning didn’t work on second floor on first night-85+ degree weather. Property manager quite responsive in getting air conditioning working for the final two nights.

Place was good what we needed. The beds weren’t great.
4.7
There was plenty of space for our group. The rooms were nice and clean. The kitchen and dining areas also had enough space for us to cook meals and eat comfortably. The location was also great! Very close to downtown. The house had maps and pamphlets giving us information about things to do and places to go. Super helpful!

Large place great for lots of people
The property was great for our group of Mom's at a volleyball tournament. Everyone had their own room. The mattress I was on was very old and saggy. If I were there with my husband would not have been comfortable. Some things could use to be updated, but overall

We have a group of up to 20 women who get together once a year. The house and location were perfect for our group. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. The outdoor area was great. We could walk to places we wanted to see or it was a short drive. Art was easy to work with. We would stay here again.

The Raggedy Ann House was wonderful! We were in Indy for a trade show downtown, and needed lots for room for team members rotating in throughout the week. We filled all 10 bedrooms! The backyard was perfect for evening gatherings around the fire pit. We loved it! The only downside is no en suite bathrooms. Other than that, five stars! Thank you Art!

I rented a property in Indianapolis, Indiana for the NCAA Men's Final Four Basketball Tournament. As a result of the global pandemic, tickets were not available for the final four. I requested a refund of my deposit. The property manager responded that this was a non - refundable rental. I found this response to be ridiculous. We have a group of six gentlemen that travel to the Final Four every year. Last year I booked a VRBO property in Atlanta but again had to cancel as the tournament was canceled. The property owner was gracious and refunded my entire deposit. In my opinion, the property manager in Indianapolis is classless and does not represent VRBO in a positive light. I look forward to your response. Thank you and have a great night.

We booked this house for the Big 10 Tournament which was canceled on our drive from Michigan to Indy due to the Corona virus. I reached out to the owner to see if we could cancel and he said No. We contracted VRBO who also contacted him to encourage him to refund our money. He refused. Initially I understand his unwillingness but as time went on and the world was put on hold- the owner and I had several more conversations about refunding our money. He continued to refuse saying the house was Too popular and booked for the rest of the year to allow us to cancel. When I searched VRBO - the house was still available many weeks during the year. I still hadn’t received my security deposit back after several weeks despite attempting to contact him several times. Finally I had to threaten him before he returned my call and blamed the late security refund on VRBO. Amazing I got an e-mail after this phone call that the owner had just released the deposit! The house was in a bad part of town with the express way literally on top of it. Hopefully this pandemic never happens again-if I go to the tournament again I certainly wouldn’t book this house! I would warn you to beware also!

I booked this property because of it's location, size and comforts. However, it was a pleasant surprise to find it to be such a historical property.

Indy Vacation with Club
Great property and location! Our large group had a wonderful time. Very impressed with Indianapolis and our temporary "home."
Had dinner one evening at Ralph's Great Divide (two doors away). Desserts are TO DIE FOR!
Thanks, Art, for making everything so easy and comfortable.

Perfect for a big group
We used this for my daughters graduation from Butler. It’s in a great location to the school and downtown. The house was well stocked and clean.

Wedding weekend resort
This was the perfect place for our large group to stay at while attending our extended family's daughter's wedding. There was plenty of space for all of us to comfortably relax before and after the wedding festivities. The game room and pool table provided us hours of entertainment. We also got to enjoy a wonderful afternoon and early evening in the back patio area around the firepit enjoying drinks and snacks and great conversation. The location of the house was a short distance to all of places we needed to go in and around the downtown area. If you have a big group and need a place to stay while visiting the Indianapolis area, this is the place for you.
