Our premium three bedroom, two bathroom direct oceanfront condo at The Flying Cloud is located just north of 94th Street in Ocean City, Maryland and is convenient to everything O.C. has to offer! Our building is built as far forward on the property line as possible, so you'll enjoy the best view Ocean City has to offer: a close, clear, and beautiful view of the low-population beach and Atlantic Ocean from the unit's private balcony overlooking the dunes.
Unlike many first floor units, ours is located on an elevated first floor, which is just a few stairs (or elevator ride) down to the garage where you can walk directly out on the beach. This means your view isn't obstructed by dunes, or (as with some other properties) by buildings or decks located in front of the unit. The picture of the beach included in our preview pictures is the view you'll enjoy directly from our balcony.

What makes The Flying Cloud unique is its closeness to everything that O.C. has to offer while being situated on a low-population beach near 94th street that never gets crowded all summer long. The only dune crossings at our location are specific to our building, and with only 56 total units, there is always plenty of space to spread a blanket and catch some rays. Evenings are calm and quiet at The Flying Cloud. It's easy to get lost in the sound of the waves, and you won't be bothered by road noise, loud bars, or rambunctious partying on our private balcony.
We take a lot of pride in helping our guests have a great time. After you book, we'll provide you with both of our mobile phone numbers and email addresses so that you can contact us any time during your stay to ask questions or solve any problems you have.
**PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE BOOKING**
(1) WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: Everything is provided for your stay EXCEPT for bed linens (sheets/pillow cases), bath/shower/beach towels, and personal toiletries. We do, however, provide comforters and blankets for all beds. Guests must bring linens for beds they plan to use.
(2) AGE REQUIREMENTS: We do not rent to "Senior Week" Groups or other High School Groups. Minimum rental age is 25. We cannot make exceptions to this policy.
(3) LOUD NOISE / PARTY RESTRICTIONS: This rental is NOT suitable for loud parties, such as bachelor and bachelorette parties, or other loud events. The building is a family-friendly building and the expectation is that groups will be reasonably quiet when it is dark outside. Small groups of people are fine to book here as long as all members of the party understand that loud partying / noise that disturbs other units will not be tolerated and will result in eviction with no refund of security deposit or unused rent.
(4) PARKING: Our place includes two dedicated, reserved parking spots. The building also has 6 additional shared visitor parking spots. A unit may use up to two of these spots by hanging hang-tags located in the unit on the rear view mirror while parked in a visitor spot. Visitor spots are usually available but not guaranteed.
(5) SUMMER RENTALS: During the on-season (Memorial Day to Labor Day each Summer) we rent Saturday-to-Saturday.

I visit Ocean City every summer and this was the nicest rental property I’ve seen! The appliances, furniture, etc were very nice.
The location was great too! Perfect beach access with ample parking and right across from the grocery store.
The host very promptly took care of the few little issues that arose during the stay and was very communicative/ helpful.

We have been using VRBO for vacations in OCMD since 2019. This is our 16th season going to the beach and by far this place exceeded our expectations from cleanliness to location. The owners are very responsive and willing to go above and beyond to provide a quality stay that you would expect from a 5 star unit. We hope to stay again in the near future.

Perfect condo for a group. We took our family - so easy for them to just walk down to the beach, and we could watch what was going on from the balcony. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

We loved our stay at this condo! It was homey, comfortable & close to fun places to explore! Our main reason for visiting was to be near Assateague National Seashore- a place everyone in our family has wanted to visit since reading Misty of Chincoteague as children. We visited twice - once as a planned day trip and once to see a beautiful sunrise & more ponies- the location of the condo was just right! Thank you for clear communication & an excellent stay!

Everything about this place was top notch. Plenty of room. Perfect location and anything you needed was right around you from the beach, to stores etc. Fred was very attentive and responded quickly. Will definitely look to stay here again when we come back.

The condo was gorgeous, and as advertised! It was right on the beach, clean, and well kept. Great communication with owners who clearly show effort to offer a beautiful beachfront condo. Some listings are deceiving NOT THIS ONE!! So beautiful and clean. I travel a lot and this one is now my favorite. We already made plans to come back next year. The condo is spacious and has everything you need. The view is breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was so stunning. The wildlife on the dunes was fun to watch.
We came for our 35th anniversary and the condo, food, and beach made it an anniversary to remember.
Fred and Kim made sure we were ready for our vacation and that we had everything we needed.

Everyone loved it. The condo was fantastic from the oceanfront location, deco, plus how the condo was furnished. We did not have a need or want while we were there. Can wait to make another booking for this unit again in the near future. If you are looking for an oceanfront property this place is a gem.

Our October visit was everything we had hoped. The oceanfront view and easy access to the beach made for a fun and relaxing time. From the first-floor balcony, we had a front row seat to autumnal sunrises over the water, and at night, we could enjoy the light of the moon shimmering on the ocean. Thank you

We stayed four nights in this very clean and well appointed condo. The ocean views are excellent, and having 2 master bedrooms was very convenient. The owners went out of their way to be helpful, and their communication with us was fantastic. We would love to return sometime soon!

Our family has been vacationing in Ocean City every year since 2013. Out of all the places we have stayed, Fred and Kim's home away from home stands out as our favorite.
The beds are soo comfortable and the rental was clean and stocked. Nice patio furniture and beach level storage unit with beach chairs, toys, board, and umbrella. Groceries right across the street. Everything worked out soo well.
It also doesnt hurt having a rental in a quiet smaller building like the flying cloud. We are looking foward to staying here again

We had a great stay. Property was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We did not realize Level 1 was not actually ground level, but it was still super easy to get on/off the beach. The beach access requires some stairs as well. The section of beach was less busy than the others looking up and down. Our only "complaint" was that the second bedroom with the king bed was a little tight and had little drawer storage. But overall fantastic and would definitely stay here again!

It was our first time at Ocean City. We loved this condo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with a perfect view and location to beach. Fred and Kim were easy to work with. We would stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoy our week long stay @ The Flying Cloud. The 7 of us fit quite nicely and the amenities provided all that we needed. The beds were very comfortable which is important!!! The bathrooms and kitchen clean! We loved being so close to the beach; the view was beautiful, and the walk short. The beach is mostly populated by the Flying Cloud Patrons and owners most likely due to having no actual side streets giving access to the beach at the F.C.
The beach was sparsely populated although the lifeguards were very close. The grocery store is conveniently located across the street. I like to walk so at 7am I took a 10 minute drive down to 28th street to park and walk the 2 1/4 mile long boardwalk. The boardwalk was extraordinarily clean and i felt safe; quite a few people were there riding rented bikes, jogging, & walking. No problem if you want coffee & donuts, other shops open early as well. We loved our stay in every way @ The F.C.!!
there is only one improvement we would like to suggest and that is to add room darkening shades/curtains in the back King bedroom as there is an outside hallway wall light that keeps the room too bright during night-time sleep. A big thank you to the Fauths!!!!

We loved our stay at the condo. Hosts checked in with us after we arrived to make sure all was ok. It was clean and comfortable. Check in was super easy and the condo was pretty easy to access. Shower pressure was great and it was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. The best part was the balcony and that view!

Great location right on the beach. Apt has been recently renovated and came out beautiful. But the most important aspect when renting is the mattresses and these were amazing.

Great views of the ocean. Master bedroom views were the best. easy to find and central location to activities. Very clean and well furnished. Very comfortable bed. The morning sun on the patio was perfect with a cup of coffee. Owners are excellent to work with.

We had an amazing time at Fred and Kim’s!! Even though it was January we were able to be out on the balcony with our coffee and happy hour because it’s a direct ocean view and blocked the wind :). My daughters (3 and 6) were in love with their bunk bed room :). We loved the kitchen table because it was perfect for meal time and game time! I’ve never rented a place twice but fully intend to do so with this property!
The house is stacked with items from home! Including a sound machine in every room which was amazing because I forgot ours and we had a 6 month old with us. We also loved the waffle maker!! Thank you so much for opening up your home!
