This home is perfect if you want a private getaway. The home is beautiful l and the pool is outstanding. While you are away from the more popular beaches we enjoyed getting away from it all with the beaches still being accessible with a short drive. You will have beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the home rather than the crowded beaches in the north end of the island. My kids enjoyed feeding the Koi Fish in the morning and evening. Would definitely return to this home.

Aloha Place is a magical property. This is our second visit and we plan to return next year as well. Kona Coast Vacation management of this property is stellar. Great communication and spot on execution of a well managed and maintained property. While the Big Island is fascinating to explore your stay and time at Aloha Place is likely to be it's own highlight of your vacation. Crossing the koi pond to enter this beautiful home we first walk in and open all of the walls. You can then sit back and enjoy the most magnificent sunsets from the living room, pool, hot tub, or from the owners suite. Don't miss the upper property and Buddha statue under the Monkey Pod tree. Here you will connect with the land that is the Essence of Hawaii.

Pictures on booking page shows how beautiful this home is, but when we arrived we were so overwhelmed that we couldn't believe. It's a such a great entrance with beautiful stone way over nice Koi pond. Ones we stepped in house, we were just WOW!

Hawaiian Paradise
We spent 10 wonderful days at Aloha Place. The location on the side of the mountain overlooking the ocean is just breathtaking. Always had cool breeze & very comfortable. The house is gorgeous! The pool, spa & lanai areas were well utilized. The entrance way to the house was on top of an incredible koi pond. We all loved feeding the koi each day. Truly a Hawaiian paradise!

The Aloha Place is an amazing property! Located in a secluded neighborhood with incredible views of the the Ocean and beautiful Kona sunsets! The home is spacious and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture throughout. The pool area is incredible!!! The property is massive... with a backyard garden that includes lime trees! Our family loved every second of our stay at this amazing property! The pictures on VRBO are great, but it is impossible to due this place justice in pictures... I highly recommend the Aloha place and can't wait to revisit!

Honeymooning in the house on the hill
For us this house really made the trip. The pool backyard area was like our own private Resort. Loved being able to feed the koi fish in the front and having plenty of space to relax. Only downside was it got a bit hot at night without AC, but we made do with fans. Pool time was a daily activity and so nice during the sunset. Really going to miss having coffee in the am and cocktails at night on the back patio while taking in the beautiful view. Will remember this place above all others.

Wonderful Big Island Oasis
We enjoyed everything about this beautiful home and grounds! The pool is fantastic and there are lots of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the views. Great sunsets from the deck and several rainbows! Highly recommend.

HEAVEN
The worst part about this property is leaving. We stayed 11 days here and we were all so upset because it was perfect for us. Quiet, comfortable, and just stunning. The pictures don't do it justice. We were worried about the lack of AC, but the temperature was perfect. Already trying to figure out when we can return.

The artwork, primitives and koi alone are worth a small fortune and add flair to the top notch design of the home. It was a comfortable and spacious location for our family vacation with adult children and spouses.We were disappointed that the hot tub did not work during our stay and the response from the management company was quite poor. The kitchen was well equipped with higher-end appliances, knives and cookware, but needs some attention paid to glassware and serving pieces, and a knife sharpener would be helpful. Other than those minor details we would highly recommend this property!

Private retreat in Kona
My family (spouse & our 3 boys aged 5, 9 & 11) just returned home from a wonderful stay at Aloha Place. It was everything the pictures promised & more! Set in a quiet neighborhood (but not far from necessities like the grocery store, etc) you feel like you are by yourself at a private resort. The house is laid out really well, no space wasted & a really nice flow. We loved eating at the table outside by the pool so much we decided to cook in (or pick up a pizza) the majority of the nights we were there. We all loved the pool, hot tub & my boys especially loved feeding the koi fish in the front entrance. The beds were comfortable & appliances were all great. Plenty of towels & quality linens. It was our best vacation ever & we can’t wait to go back. Also, I have to mention David, from Kona Concierge, who helped us with all of our activities. Without him, the trip would have been much more stressful! He helped us choose the right excursions for our family & each one was absolutely perfect! He was quick to respond every time I asked questions & was really just a fantastic bonus to an already fantastic booking/house. It was a great experience!

Aloha Place is a beautifully designed, landscaped and equipped property. We would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. David, the concierge, was great to deal with, and provided information and reservations, whenever we needed.

Expectations - Exceeded!!
An absolute dream house. Where to start? First off, very much appreciated booking through VRBO and Kona Coast Vacations, no troubles at all with the booking and all information received for us to have an enjoyable 6 nights. The house is even better than the pictures. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into it. All pictures are accurate, but its so mich better to see first hand. 3 bedrooms, lots of indoor space. The kitchen is well eqipped. The outdoors reflects the beauty of the house, with infinity pool, jacuzzi, BBQ, lounge chairs and ample spaces to relax and take sun or enjoy the magnificent sun sets. The only downside is leaving. Truly want to take this house with me.

Big Island Paradise!
Aloha Place is amazing! Our family rents luxury homes around the world over the holidays every year and last night we voted this was the best house we stayed at on all our vacations.
Great location and beautiful view. The house is tastefully decorated and captures the island feel without any cliches. The layout of the house is perfect for families and it takes advantage of the beautiful outdoor panorama. The grounds are very private and landscaped beautifully. Love the Koi pond. The outdoor area with the spa and pool are spacious and well maintained.

This is an amazing place. This home is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need for a beautiful relaxing vacation. The master bath shower is awesome with no shower doors and you can even enter from the outside. There are also two showers outside that are so serene and private. We cooked many meals at home and the house has everything. The pool and spa and waterfall were so relaxing with an infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous blue ocean. The house comes with a concierge and his name is David and he is the BEST! I contacted him many times for food suggestions as well as surfing lessons suggestions and an ocean experience. He suggested great places to eat and he set up are surfing lessons as well as our snorkeling with the dolphins. We had an amazing time and it was a bonus staying at this house and working with David to set up our excursions. Thank you very much for sharing this home with us. Thank you Kona Coast vacations for all your help. And thank you too David at Kona concierge for all your help in making this a beautiful 50th birthday for my husband and I.

The online pictures cannot do reality justice - the home is exquisitely designed and decorated down to even the smallest details. Our two weeks in this home made our time in Hawaii extra special. The house exceeded our expectations with its generous spaces, and thoughtful and tasteful decor. The focus on the outside with the house being so open to the lanai was beautiful. We also appreciated the several sitting spots throughout the property to allow for everyone to have their own space when desired. The pool was larger than expected and a joy to spend time in. Every detail of this house seemed well thought out and designed. The coi in the entrance were a treat to feed every day and the sunset was beautifully framed by the cabana we sat to view every night. Our only critique is that it would be helpful to provide some basic cleaning products. We were there two weeks and a simple all purpose cleaner would have helped up keep things clean along the way. Considering laundry soap, dish and dishwasher soap, shampoo and bathroom soaps, paper towels, toilet paper etc were supplied, it seems not unreasonable for some other basics to be provided. More places such as hooks to hang bath towels in some of the bathrooms would also be helpful. More smaller drink glasses and white wine glasses would also be nice.

The propert is private and secluded yet only a few minutes to beaches, activities, and dinning. My Daughter, 8 year old Grandson and myself had a wonderful week in this stunning location - a perfect halfway meeting point between Sydney and the West Coast for us. Such a beautiful and well appointed home, and it did feel like home. It was a challenge to get my Grandson out of the pool and he loved the selection of pool toys. My daughter would do her Yoga in the Cabana every morning, and every evening we watched the spectacular sunsets. It was perfect in all ways, and we can't wait to come back next year. we stayed with friends during the Ironman week. the house is beautiful,, much better than what you can imagine looking at photos, very quite, the location is perfect and so the pool. We were concerned because there is no conditioning air, but we realized it's no necessary due to the constant breeze coming from the ocean. A little spot: at least in the master bedroom there should be a kingsize bed.

What a beautiful home! We were mesmerized by this home. There were days that I chose to stay at the house vs. going out to explore because it was sooo relaxing. The only minor issue is the warmth of the pool if it is an overcast day, because it is warmed by solar. The day of our arrival was cloudy and was quite cold. The rest of the visit was sunny and so there was a noticeable warming of the pool, but still too cold for 1 or 2 of our party. But, they chose to just sit in the hot tub. There was also an issue with something breaking while we were there, but we can't complain because accidents happen and I'm sure it wasn't due to lack of maintenance, but more probably an issue in the manufacturing of the product or maybe installation by builder. It was a fluke because the house was amazing. I would definitely rent this house again if we stayed in the Kona area again.

Well what can i say, most places that you end up traveling to you are let down when you see the reality compared to the pictures. This Home was the exact opposite, the grounds are immaculate, the house is spectacular to say the least! Amazingly large pool with great kid side pool for your children or just lounging in, killer hot tub. The pool and hot tub where great with push button controls easily accessed to heat them both up almost instantly, loved that! The home made me want to purchase a get-a-way home in Kona, the views, the weather, seeing it all from your veranda was quiet breathtaking. With this being our third trip to Kona, i would never stay anywhere else besides this home again in the future, if I can continue to afford it. We were so concerned with getting a home closer to the Ocean but it is truly right down the hill and on hot days it is nice being slightly higher elevation. The Master Bed leaved a little desired in the comfort department but because everything else was so great it was hardly noticed, thank you!
