Lodging was quaint & clean, but should have investigated Hocking Hills more. Due to drought, didn't see any waterfalls. The rock formations were beautiful, but I was very disappointed there wasn't a drop of water. Would've cancelled trip if I knew.

The property was better than the pictures, perfect for our 3 people, and central to all locations we planned to visit. Exactly as advertised. We appreciated the hottub before and after the hikes! We were happy that our cabin was near the end of the row, as we could not tell that during the planning process. The cabin and hottub were clean and staff were very helpful. Our only concern was not being given the cabin code until hours prior to our arrival, which was standard procedure, but unnerving to travel out of state with no confirmation of the cabins access.

After all day hiking in Hocking Hills, it was great to be able to drive the short distance back to our chalet to relax in the hot tub and just hang out. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Location is great

Our cabin was far nicer than we expected Ted, the view was delightful and the bed was comfortable. We plan to book for Fall 2024.
Two Minor Suggestions:
1. Our grill was unusable because it was rusty. Can’t put meat on a rusty grill. It spoiled our cookout plans.
2. In the dark, it was extremely difficult to locate our Aframe cabin. I suggest that the sign pointing to the cabins be replaced with signage that is easily visible.

The fire ring it referred to was a small 3x3 area on the opposite side of the road. No place to relax outside besides the back deck

The location of the Chalets is perfect. And access to a swimming pool in July was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and adorable property. The A-frame was actually larger on the inside than it appeared to be. Right at the entrance to the state park making it a perfect location. Away from crowds but close enough to enjoy the activities.

Chalet was wonderful for the two of us friends. Plenty of room, very clean and lovely property. Hot tub was immaculate. Check-in and out was easy. Close to the major hikes. Would highly recommend!

We were greeted with a very clean chalet. It had all of the things you could have needed to enjoy your stay. I was impressed by how beautiful the property was and we enjoyed every night in this chalet. The chalet is close enough to all of the scenic nature destinations. All in all my spouse and I enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing, beautiful, and clean. 10/10 would recomend!

We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin had some busted tile in front of the fireplace and other MINOR damages, but; nothing dissruptive to the stay. All appliances, hot tub, etc.. were in good working order. House keeping and other personnel were friendly and helpful.

Cabin was ok just wish we could have enjoyed the hot tub the entire stay. The refrigerator could have been a bit bigger

Great place for a family getaway!
Our family went for a little getaway and it was just perfect! Super close to the trails and not terribly far from restaurants and grocery store. The private hot tub was really nice too! It was also nice that all linens and such were provided. We would definitely return!

Relaxing Get-Away
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property in the woods. After hiking at Hocking Hills, it was perfect to relax and enjoy the hot tub. The place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our host was very helpful and responsive to questions. (Note: No paper towels or napkins supplied, so bring your own if desired.)

Had a wonderful stay! The only negative was the hot tub wasn’t ready until 8:00 and we got no response when trying to contact the office.

Wifi
I hope your customers don’t expect to have wifi. It was so slow it was pretty much non-existent. I sent a text to tell my dad about our day and it took 20 minutes to be delivered. This needs an upgrade for sure.

AFFORDABLE PRIVATE FAMILY LODGING
First time in the area, and highly recommend this place! I’m planning next year’s vacation here with a few more friends too! A-Frame Cabins 5, 17, & 18, while advertised as lover’s cabins, are also great for family of 4. The nightly rate isn’t much more than a hotel room, and you have a private cabin with your own private hot tub. Never even got to try their saltwater pool this time, which is my one and only semi-criticism. In the height of Summer, closing the pool at 7pm is far too early. Wish they would allow it to be open til “dark” or even better… “ kids must be with a responsible adult after dark.”

Quaint Cabin
This cabin was just right for our honeymoon. It had just the right enough space for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck overlooking the woods. It was a very safe place as well. I would have loved to see an overview of the layout of the grounds though.

Great location, comfortable cabin
We would absolutely stay again. It was the right balance for our children ages six and eight, and things for the adults. The pool is beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with exactly what we needed.

40th Anniversary Get Away
Just loved our A-Frame. The only recommendation that I have is that you consider giving a discount on the Sauna Pods to your guests or at least a senior citizen discount of some sort. We would have loved to try them out but the cost seemed a little high. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and the cabin was just adorable.

beautifully designed
beautiful place and well maintained, does offer privacy by the design of the deck but not the most secluded. Overall though it was a great place to stay and will definitely go back again in time
