Perfectly located, 5 min from the national park and within 5-15 from restaurants.
Fully equipped kitchen and fast wifi.
Bring your own towels for the swimming pool and for the cabin hot tub.
Also bring your water. Water at the cabin has an unpleasant smell, likely not safe for drinking.

Cabin was perfect for our 31st anniversary stay with the exception of the wake-up call sound of the beeping trucks working below our cabin.

Property was in the perfect location. It was private and romantic for our anniversary trip. The ladder up to the loft is almost vertical and will not be easy for older adults or young children. Beds were queen size. Downstairs bed was very comforta le. We loved our visit and look forward to returning! Bring lots of bottled water.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was a great location to the parks, secluded enough and true to description. However, I was traveling with my 3 young adult sons and although listing says sleeps 4, I would say not comfortably in our case. The 2 beds really didn’t accommodate our needs. Both rooms could accommodate a king bed and the sofa in the living room could be a sleeper sofa. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The chalet was beautiful. Ideal location for the park and only about 15 minutes from restaurants, Walmart and more in Logan. The hot tub and everything inside the cabin was very clean! Outdoor shower wasn’t operational during our stay, just wish that would have been stated somewhere in the original listing as we thought that was a really neat feature of this property. Otherwise, everything was great!

Just right for a relaxing weekend, we enjoyed the hot tub and plenty of room outside for our dogs to room, where we could keep an eye on them

The cabin was beautiful. So nice and very modern updates. The big walk in shower was nice to look at but for this cold weekend it was very cold in there. You have to go all the way in and turn the water on and it hits you ice cold before it warms up. We used the upstairs shower. The beds were entirely too small. Definitely suggest increasing the bed sizes . After all the hiking, a nice comfy large bed would have been nice. The small hard beds did not help our sore bodies. We left with backaches. For our 2 day stay it was good.

What was supposed to be a romantic "getaway" for two ended up being a solo trip with my 3 dogs. The Chalets were a beautiful place to stay but our second day adventure to Hocking Hills turned to Hocking Hell when the 20 minute walk to Cedar Falls turned into a five hour race against darkness to get out! Not being provided a map, we started out on the red trail which was a challenge for the dogs crossing the metal grate bridge but easy walking after that. 1.6 miles in we came upon a sign telling us that Cedar Falls was 1.6 miles back from where we came. Having already seen that terrain we pressed on and came upon the Lake and saw signs for the Upper Falls so continued on to see them. When we came out to a Welcome Center, we had a choice of walking back down the red trail to where we had parked or see more, so I figured that the blue trail would take us back to where we needed to be and we could see more sights.....WRONG Choice with 3 dogs! Two of my dogs are large older dogs with hip dysplasia and we soon found that the "ONE WAY ONLY" blue trail was not as easy to navigate as the red trail we had walked in on. It was a challenge to help my dogs up and down some of the ledges, makeshift stairways, and other obstacles we encountered along the way. Darkness was falling upon us as we came upon another couple we met at an intersecting yellow trail. They told us that taking the yellow trail and ignoring the ONE Way only signs posted on it, would take us to the parking lot. We proceeded to take this trail for it finally got us out of the woods! Well, upon coming to the parking lot, we soon realized that this was NOT the parking area we had parked at. I could hear traffic so we headed towards the sounds of cars and soon found the road. Since the red trail was to our left I figured LEFT was the way we had to walk to get to our parking lot.... I was so relieved to finally make it back to our car! Looking at the dogs, their asses were dragging and I thought for sure I would be making my homeward trip with a couple of carcasses..... We got to the Chalets and all 3 dogs crashed on the floor by the fireplace. Instead of sleeping in the bed, I chose to sleep with them on the couch instead to make sure that they were all OK. I will never go back to Hocking Hell for the breakup memories it holds and the trauma imposed upon us getting "Lost" on the trails....

We had a short but nice getaway at Pinecone. It was very clean and everything worked well.
Just a couple things that could be improved upon: the cell phone service is spotty at best and non-existent during the time we were waiting to be notified our cabin was ready creating a bit of havoc.
The “steps” to the loft were actually a ships ladder and way too steep for any of us 4 seventy plus year olds to climb. If there would have been a clear picture of the stairs and maybe a mention of them not being senior friendly we would have looked at a different cabin.

Cozy and clean cabin with a great yard and privacy. Place was clean and tidy but kitchen very limited in supplies. Only had 4 cups and 4 forks, spoons etc. the access to the loft bedroom could be made much safer and accessible. Very dangerous ladder to climb up and down. Our stay was suitable for us though but would definitely rethink if small children were with us!

It was a great place to stay for me and my family plus dog. There are other cabins around, but they were spaced out enough where it felt secluded.

My partner and I needed to get out of our apartment for a bit and wanted to have a “work trip”. It was peaceful and isolated enough for us to not have to be worried of others intruding on us. The only thing that was slightly annoying was how far the fire pit was from the actual cabin. In the dead of night after the fire dies down, it’s pitch black between you and the cabin, even with the porch lights on.

A very nice cabin. The Hot tub worked well and was clean. The cabin is well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaints are the water pressure is too low and the water has a strong sulfur odor. We will stay here again if we return to the area

We had a very nice time, although for how much I spent it seemed to be too much for what we got. I also didn't like how it was so close to the road you could hear cars drive by and the noisy people renting out the cabin that was attached to the pool for their private pool were disrespectful. And very loud.

Relaxing, much needed getaway
My partner and I went and we enjoyed the cabin more then we thought we would! A lot of the trails were closed due to COVID-19, so we spent more time in the cabin then planned. The loft was a little much for us, getting up and down, and we are 23-28, and I’m not sure it would be suitable for children either. The only disappointment was being in bikinis trying to relax in the hot tub and the lawn crew who was doing absolutely nothing driving past on the lawn mower numerous times..even came back with his buddy on the back of the lawn mower, blade not even down! It was pretty uncomfortable. But the cabin itself is beautiful.

Beware of Water
The cabin is part of a larger property with other cabins nearby. It is the closest cabin to the swimming pool and the voices can be heard at the cabin. There is enough distance, though, that you don't feel anyone is on top of you. The cabin is clean enough. We had two main problems: the Internet was very spotty. We had to call to have it reset. Since the television runs off the same connection, the television was also spotty. However, the biggest and, possibly toxic, problem was the water. The water runs orange out of the tap and has a very strong sulphur smell. This is the same water that comes out of the shower and is in the hot tub. After taking a shower, the water pools orange at the bottom of the tub. We thought the lines had not been cleared but the orange did not fade as we continued to use it. I made the mistake of drinking a bit of tap water to take some medication on the first night. After showering and using the hot tub, my fingernails actually turned orange. I became ill two days later and ended up at a health clinic. I was told that I had a severe UTI infection, that caused me to bleed from two different places (I'll let you figure that out.) They sent my sample off to a lab for further testing and it came back positive for E Coli. The water was the only possible source because we didn't eat out during the entire stay. The facility needs to be aware that this water is unsafe for drinking. Renters need to heed extreme caution and only drink bottled water. Needless to say, my husband and I won't stay at this facility again.

Weekend in
Cabin was very clean and cozy. Due to an unexpected injury, I had to use a knee scooter to move around. Cabin was a little tight for this but it did fit, just increases difficulty. In the summer, when trees are grown in, I imagine it would be very secluded!
