The building was absolutely beautiful and in an amazing location for downtown activities. We were able to walk everywhere and if we needed to drive it was never more than 10 minutes. LOVED IT!

Very comfortable and beautiful furnishings. Convenient location downtown and perfect hangout areas for relaxing and catching up with family.

We were a group of 4 college friends getting together for a quick getaway. The VRBO was beyond perfect! We each had our own rooms, the bathroom situation was perfect & kitchen great for our needs. We had breakfast at the VRBO & ate out the other meals. With so many fantastic restaurants & food options, this worked out beautifully. Even better than all that was the location! Right where you want to be in the heart of historic Charleston! Steps from Harken a delicious bakery/lunch spot, a block from Husk, Poogan’s Porch, 2 blocks from 82 Queen, & right around the corner from where our walking tour started. The VRBO host was fabulous to work with & check in was easy. Absolutely wonderful experience & would definitely book again!!

Could not have had a more perfect stay at your lovely Vrbo. Family stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Gibbes. Perfect location for any Charleston vacation but particularly for a wedding. Loved every minute and hope to be back soon

Feels like you are stepping back into old Charleston. Very elegant and lots of space. Location cannot be beat. Overall, a treat to stay in. For downsides, we would say the mattresses are perhaps a bit past useful life but that should be an easy fix. Also, there is quite a bit of street noice and light at night. Black out drapes would help. Historical rules may prevent double planing the windows but that would also help. If you are a night owl and an easy sleeper, these won’t be issues for you.

The property is spacious with an excellent location. The living room and dining areas are quite large with a lot of seating. We enjoyed our stay and would return here.

This was a fantastic house and location. We opted not to rent a car, and were able to walk most places we wanted to go. An Uber once was needed (other than trips to and from the airport) Its a lovely home with plenty of comfortable space. The kitchen is not much to speak of, but it had everything we needed in a city where you go for the food. Two small suggestions: the remotes to the TV need batteries and an increased supply of TP would be advisable. This is a wonderful place to stay and I would stay here again without looking for another rental. I would recommend this to my friends.

We stayed here as 10 girls on a bachelorette weekend. The outside deck was perfect for hanging out and eating group dinners. The living room had another large table and couches for us to hang out. The beds were really comfortable and perfect for our amount of people. There is only 2.5 bathrooms, which wasn’t a huge deal but definitely a lot of people trying to shower at the same time. Only downsides were one of the shower heads had really low water pressure and the property only gives you a certain number of toilet paper rolls, so we had to buy more. But overall would definitely stay here again and recommend to other large groups! Perfect location.

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and this was a fantastic location. I wish there would have been parking as part of the unit but other than that it couldn’t have been more perfect for our stay.

We were in Charleston celebrating my son’s wedding! This condo was a perfect place for us to stay as the location could not have been better. And with 5 bedrooms, my siblings and other adult children could all stay together and catch up. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay. The location of the property was perfect. We loved the layout of the home as it was perfect for two families with children that needed quiet. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals and the bedrooms were very comfortable.

You can't beat the location, if you enjoy walking around the historic part of downtown Charleston. The veranda is huge and lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The luggage elevator was very useful. In the heart of shopping and dining. 2 cute coffee shops across the street. Parking was 1 block away. Not a problem getting a spot. We would stay here again!

Stayed with my groomsmen during our wedding weekend. Property was beautiful and great porch for the 10 of us to relax on.

The property felt like a part of Charleston history. Very convenient to walk to most destinations. Had a sink plumbing issue when we arrived but the problem was addressed promptly with no inconvenience to us. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday in this apartment. A spacious 5-bedroom second story in a prime French Quarter location. RIGHT in the middle of convenient shops/restaurants/historic sights/old beautiful classic Charleston architecture. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The big porch was a WONDERFUL feature for dining and hanging out. Only minor complaints: outdoor spiral staircase is really the only way up to the apartment and it's steep, narrow, unlit, and can be slippery in the rain. Not so good for old people or big luggage, though we never tried the 'luggage elevator'. Other than that, the front door lower latch was in disrepair and many of the sink and/or shower drains seemed pretty stopped up. We had a wonderful week though, thank you for the memories!

Everything was fantastic, no issues!

Older historic 2nd floor of 3 story building that has been renovated. Plenty of space for an entire family. Staircase to entry is a little funky but ok once you get used to it. Small elevator for luggage is great.

Had a great girls trip and this property is perfect!
Centrally located where you can walk pretty much everywhere! Parking garage was very accessible! Great restaurants, shop and venues!!! Definitely recommend!

Stayed with our family for a wedding weekend. It was spacious enough for three families and the beds were comfortable. Only down fall was the spiral staircase to enter. I wasn’t aware of that prior to booking and it’s not exactly friendly to older adults with bad knees and or carrying a baby up and down.

We stayed 4 days in this lovely home in an ideal location. Check-in was easy and support from Management was excellent!
The “elevator “ for luggage did not work or we just couldn’t figure it out. One complaint, the need a bigger coffee maker (4cup) for a 5 bedroom home!

This VRBO was gorgeous and the historical element made it feel like an authentic Charleston experience. Central location to many restaurants and King street and a well managed/clean property. We had a great time and plenty of space with a group of 12!

Love, love this location. Shops and restaurants were great and all within walking distance. This unit was perfect for our reunion. The space was clean and very comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood felt safe. The check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The winding steps up to the unit can be a little tricky for seniors or those with mobility issues. The balcony was great in the morning and evenings after the heat subsided. We really enjoyed our few days in Charleston!

loved this house!!!
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful Charleston home 💖 we would love to come back again. Host responded within minutes everytime. Very clean. Perfect location. Only downside, we wished there was a broom or vacuum to pick up after ourselves.

Great May 2022 Visit
Awesome location and venue. Property is easy to live in and very relaxed, even with a spiral staircase! Thankfully, there is a luggage elevator so moving luggage is easy. Parking is offsite which isn’t a problem but we could have really used a loading zone, particularly with a 90 year old in tow.

Best location
We had a wonderful Spring Break at this VRBO. It was the perfect accommodation for my family of four, my brother’s family of three and my parents. We were able to walk to everything including the Aquarium. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Charleston.

Great location. Plenty of space for a large group.
Excellent property for a large family group. Classic single house architecture with a large piazza. There is some quirkiness to the property with a narrow winding stairway access and some funky bathrooms but these are nitpicking criticisms. Mostly it was a pleasurable experience. Would recommend.

Great location
The location of the property is great. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants etc. However, it was very loud at night and early morning. Cars traveling up and down Meeting street, early restaurant delivery, and driveway blowing of leaves. Also, it would be great to have some black out curtains. All of the light from street pours into the bedrooms. It has a great veranda and plenty of room.

Excellent Location
We had a group of ladies needing to stay in CHS for the bridge run. It was an easy walk to the buss pickup and a great location for festivities enjoyed after the race.

Great space and location.
Lizzy is an excellent and accommodating hostess. Would recommend this space to anyone!

annual get together
Location. location, location. Great spot. If you have a guest that has trouble walking., the home will be a problem as the only entrance is up a circular exterior metal stairs to a porch. Difficult with luggage. The bathroom layout is a little wonky, but keep in mind this is an old residence not meant to have multiple bathrooms. The porch is awesome. great living room gathering area. The hosts are accommodating and easy to work with. Parking will be an issue if you are driving. All in all, a very good stay for us. Thanks.

Authentic in town experience
Our extended family really enjoyed the character and charm of this second floor home located conveniently between the hotels & shopping district and the battery. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and supplies fairly well equipped. Loved sitting out on the big front porch and sleeping in the grand rooms with high ceilings! I doubt it was less expensive than a hotel stay - except if you eat in like we did- but it was surely nice to have our group be able to be together in one space!

Great Location
Very close to restaurants, King Street shopping, and historic sites. Clean and pretty spacious.

Best location. Charming and homey. Perfect for our family thanksgiving.
Incredible location, everything as advertised. Loved our first trip to Charleston and couldn’t have been happier with the property. Charming. Elegantly “antique”. Yes it was a bit of a funky layout and some tight bathrooms but that is what you should expect with a property that was probably built a 100 years ago. We loved it for that reason. 100% would rent again.
