Facilities, cleanliness and helpful neighbours, (the owners!)
Everything was good!

Spacious, well equipped ; kitchen has everything you need and more. Nice to have a living room area where we could gather and yet separate bedrooms for privacy. Blackout curtains especially nice for the summer hours. Fantastic view out the back to watch the wildlife. Comfy beds, bedding, pillows. Host very gracious and attentive.
As visitors from another country, operation of the appliances, heating , electric sockets, front door lock, etc was not intuitive. An instruction list explaining the operation of these items would have been appreciated. We did figure all out eventually, but an instruction list would have helped immensely.

Everything was perfect, a beautiful, super-equipped house, in an excellent position near Lerwick town center, and very helpful hosts, we strongly recommend this accommodation for your Shetland holidays!

This place had everything we could possibly need and more when traveling with 3 young children. It was exceptionally clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen was really well equipped, parking was spot on there was a tv in every bedroom ( though the TV didn't work in my room ). There was a bathroom on the ground floor and the first floor . The hosts were spot on .wifi is very good .
The living room is very small which has been talked about , this wasn't a problem for us ( there were 4 of us ) but there are only 3 soft seats a 2 seater sofa and a chair .
For people who may struggle walking the house is at the top of a steep hill and is a bugger.
And that's it really.

the property had everything we could have needed and was very warm, clean and comfortable.
One of the beds upstairs was very soft - not a problem if you like a soft bed. The others were firm just as we like.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Great location with lovely view from the kitchen. Well stocked cupboards with ( among other things) tea, coffee and milk and a lovely cake.

Home away from home, literally everything you would want or need was in the property. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating and have to say the entire stay was positively impacted. I've already recommended to friends and will look forward to staying again.

A lovely property, very well-equipped. The hosts were so welcoming and also extended our check-in and check-out hours to coincide with the ferry. This was so helpful. A lovely welcome basket of goodies on arrival too. The property has its own parking space, which was also a great plus for us.

Lovely welcome from Lynne, with a super welcome pack left in the house. The lemon Drizzle cake was very much appreciated. along with the milk and bread. Lots of tea, coffee, sauces and jams are left in the fridge.
Superb location, good views across the bay, easy parking outside the property. Very comfortable house with a well-equipped kitchen. comfortable lounge, TVs in almost every room if you need them.
Nice hot shower.
Washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen.
Large Tesco and a local store within reasonable walking distance.
Would definitely stay here again when we revisit Shetland.

Welcome package above and beyond.
Guests next door could sometimes be heard.

A great welcome from Lynne with a bottle of wine and a great cake. Plenty of condiments already there for use. The location was fine for touring the island and proximity to Lerwick and Tescos was very convenient. The accommodation was excellent for us and the television services were better than you usually find in self catering properties. Lynne also allows some flexibility by her booking policy at the beginning or end of your stay if required which is brilliant. We arrived on the ferry at 7.30 in the morning and could go straight to the property rather than wait until the afternoon
We were a couple and still found the the property good value for money but it actually could cater for another 5 people with four sizeable bedrooms and two bathrooms overall (its a bit like the Tardis). In the case of a full house I can imagine the kitchen/dining/sitting area would be very cramped but it would be incredibly cheap to stay there.

Lovely place well equipped and such helpful hosts

Great location to explore the isles. Lovely views across Sound, Lerwick and to Bressay. Lynne is lovely and left some yummy treats to get my holiday started
Nothing bad about it but as a heads up, the occasional random banging is next door baking. Thought I’d broken the washing machine the first time I heard it but all was good so if you hear it, don’t panic
