Well-equipped spacious & comfortable apartment in a delightful historic village.

Location at centre of this delightful village was superb. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped apartment, with easy access to many interesting & historic places. Easy self-catering or eating out: Co-op, pubs, cafes & Farmers market steps away from the front door.

The flat was lovely and very well equipped. The twin room has an ensuite so the kids had their own bathroom whilst we used the main bathroom with a great shower (this is upstairs next to the twin room, whilst the double room is downstairs). It's in a great location, Axbridge is an interesting little town and very close to lots of interesting places to visit. There's a shop open to 10pm every day practically next door and a play park for the kids nearby. If you have kids look out for the children's trail around Axbridge, it kept ours occupied for a while and lead to the park.

It's not for light sleepers, the curtains are all thin so the bedrooms were bright very early and it backs on to coop (the shop) which starts moving stock trolleys around at 6am so we had some very early starts!

That’s was a fabulous stay with a lovely memories we have made on our trip surrounded the property.

The property is a terrace house right in a heart of the town Axbridge, with a Museum, hair salons, shops and pubs on the step door! The Cheddar village just couple miles away from the property! The house is spotless clean with all essential supplies! Highly recommended!

Great value, Great place, Great location - try it

Axbridge is a lovely medieval town, the location of the apartment was excellent with two pubs very close by serving great beer and food and a co-op store 30m away for all your essentials. The apartment itself was very well equipped, extremely comfortable and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. We would highly recommend it

Our stay at The Flat was great! It had everything we needed and it felt like home from home. Beds were super comfy and the flat was clean throughout. Beautiful village.

Constant ( all day + night) noise from coop back yard and hearing all conversations from the hair dresser shop under (all day) Lack of light blocking curtains in rooms

Superb

Great location. Nice flat. Would have been nice to have the roof terrace ready to use.

Parking was an issue. Had to hang around waiting for someone to come out. Always full.

Beds super comfy, everything you could need, little balcony area and beautiful village

Would be great if you could park long term closer to the property. Great it had 2 bathrooms but would've been great to have one downstairs.

great value

beautiful property, clean and warm great location and parking available round the corner for 48hrs as apposed to 1or 2 hrs in the square area

Could of benefited from a pint of milk for arrival. would of preferred the double to be upstairs not down. would if liked a washing machine so we didn’t have a mountain of washing to do on return home.

Fantastic short break - perfect hosts, flat and location.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the village, local co op just around the corner. This is a beautifully equipped flat, every thing had been thought of for anybody wishing to cook for themselves or just relax .......

It was a bit of a shame that the double room and single rooms were not the other way around.

Relaxing stay near Mendips

The flat was in a lovely location in centre of Axbridge, was clean, comfortable and had all you needed for a relaxing break, and plenty of walks from the door

Everything was as depicted in the write up for the apartment making our stay as envisaged.

Great location for visiting Cheddar and Glastonbury walks. Centre of a pleasant town with two pubs within a one minute walk. Very relaxing roof terrace with a bottle of wine.

Disappointing

The location was very good, close o the square and facilities of the village.

The bedroom windows had very thin blinds that did not block out any light, hence the room was bright from 4.30am! Would benefit from black out blinds/curtains. Would benefit from a set of drawers in the bedrooms. Would benefit from sound proofing from the hairdresser downstairs, it’s very noisy especially when they are shouting above the hairdryers! Several areas of damp in the property that need addressing.

First class accommodation - luxurious

The flat is ideally situated and was above our expectations. It is the most comfortable flat I have ever stayed in with additional luxury items. So welcoming. It was a walk away from Cheddar Gorge and the local pub was excellent with delicious food

Wonderful flat.

Wonderful flat. Gorgeous living area and kitchen with all the facilities you could need. Little extras like teatowels, ironing board and tea and coffee made all the difference. Brilliant location across the road from The Lamb pub and short drive to Cheddar. Free local parking.

Fabulous stay

Really lovely furnished and well appointed property, fabulous location. Loved the roof terrace. Great communication from owner. Will definitely stay again

Only a minor inconvenience but 2 bathrooms on top floor and none on 2nd (obviously nothing can be done about lay out. Also could have done with some handwash in bathroom and dishwasher tablets for dishwasher but also very minor.
