Do you want a Hotel with busloads of people up and down the halls, hoards of people at the continental breakfast, long hikes from parking lot to rooms, and then, in some cases, multiple flights of stairs to get to room. OR, a quiet, multi room apartment for up to 6 people, place to sit and relax, cook your own meals if you wish, or close enough to walk to go out to eat, all at a rate much less than the standard hotel.
UPDATE: Carpets all replaced, bunk bed replaced with standard twin beds. Much easier for children and adults to slip in to bed.

Don't fight the huge bus loads of travelers at the hotels, long luggage carry and noise up and down the hotel halls!! Come where you can relax. The property offers a comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms and a one bath with sleeping capacity of up to 6.
The unit also has a den and kitchen area. Access and use of the front or back deck areas. Front decks offer street and people watching as well as dining, and a High crows nest deck in the rear overlooking the Yellowstone River and into the town of Gardiner. Clean, plenty of towels, comfortable bed.

Overall the stay was great but the directions sent in the email was confusing as was told to go to the right of the building for the stairs and they were to the left of the building. One in our party had hip replacement and even though stairs were stated in the checkin instructions the listing needs to state more clearly that anyone with mobility issues will have trouble navigating the stairs which could use updating.

This was a great location and a very nice unit but seemed as if it had not been stayed in a while. The floors were dusty and there were a lot of bugs in the unit.
We loved the location as it was in walking distance to many restaurants and fun activities. We were able to walk right down the street to catch our zip lining tour. there are many souvenir shops around also. It was nice to park once and walk to grab coffee or breakfast before we headed into the park.
The park entrance is literally down the road. It was such a great place to stay and we would stay there again for sure.

The inside of the apartment is clean and quiet. There are plenty of linens available, the furniture and beds are quite comfortable. Coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurants are within close walking distance. What is good to know is that parking is whatever is available on the street. You should also know that you need to go down a flight of stairs to enter the apartment.

Great place for visiting Yellowstone, nothing fancy but good value and everything you need to eat, sleep and visit the park. Easy to get in, parked on the street just outside and we had a great visit, thank you.

Loved the apartment. Very nice two bedroom that was well taken care of. Only thing we didn't like was the walk down to it. The uneven steps made it a challenge to get luggage back and forth and can be a problem for those with mobility issues. Also, had challenges with the VRBO app and getting messages which wasn't the host's fault. Thankfully we were able to get in touch with him before checking in.

We were looking for a place to crash close to Yellowstone. This place got the bill. We arrived around 7pm and had a tough time finding parking in front of the house.
We were grateful for beds and running water after camping several days. The house was clean enough but there was a lot of dust under the bed and a few spider friends.
Kim was quick to respond to a few questions that came up during our stay and we were surprised to find a bottle of wine upon our arrival.

The place was just as described. Clean and comfortable place with two bedrooms. My family of five enjoyed our stay of two nights. We had everything we needed. Laundry was great, we were able to wash our clothes after half a week of being on the road.

Great place close to restaurants, grocery, and Yellowstone. We enjoyed the space to spread out and use of the kitchen. We arrived early and were granted early check-in which was incredible. We would stay again.

Directions - Please update to go to the left of the building, not the right - the gate to the right is hazardous. Please clean up the notebook with directions - there are two separate sets.
Cleanliness - The top of the microwave needs to be cleaned. We had to wash some dishes the coffee cups and plates before using them. We swept the floor and found much more dirt than we brought with us. Cleaning the entry would have helped. Please supply an unused sponge at the kitchen sink. The hand soap didn’t work in the bathroom and the one in the kitchen was almost empty.
Linens - there are NO linens in the kitchen, we had to use paper towels to wash and dry - the sponge was brown and had been used. There are no washcloths in the bathroom. Should supply at least 2 extra bathroom towels.
Decor - more than 1 mirror would be helpful when there are 4 adults. 4 coffee cups would have been appreciated.
Bathroom essentials - please indicate on your listing that you do not supply them.

The location to the North Entrance of Yellowstone is superb. The view from the crow's nest is phenomenal, although getting up there, be careful! FYI, this is the bottom apartment, there is someone renting above you. Great trip to Gardiner!

We had a great stay at this property! The location is perfect and very convenient to get to Yellowstone or Bozeman Airport, and Gardiner is a great little town. The price for the number of people this apartment sleeps was unbeatable. We would stay here again.

Very easy access to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We also did horse back ridding and white water rafting with Flying Pig and they were literally next door! Host left a bottle of wine to share and easy access to laundry room.

We loved our stay in this remodeled restaurant. The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed to cook a meal and to relax. Kim was very accommodating, available when needed and quite knowledgeable. The town was all within walking distance. Actually Yellowstone was within walking distance, though I wouldn’t recommend it. The availability of the laundry room was so helpful and the bottle of wine at check was such a great treat.
Highly recommend and will stay here again when we get back to this area.

We’d really like to give this property a good review since the inside is fairly well maintained and nicely decorated, but the decrepit condition of the exterior area and the fact that several pots, pans, and dishes were burnt or had the finish worn off didn’t make us feel secure about the cleanliness of the inside. Starting with the deck at the road level, it looks much more worn than the photo with the chair set pillows dirty and worn. There is a treacherous post as you start to descend to the unit that is no longer secured to the porch and the step off the porch to the stairs is a loose board laying on bricks. The stairs are acceptable, but be aware there is no light that shines on them after dark. To get to the advertised deck, you pass a shed with a broken office chair leaning against it and the deck and outdoor furniture is worn while the planters all had dead or dying plants in them. Not an enjoyable place to hang out and no view at all. Honestly, the place appears forgotten and certainly hasn’t had any recent maintenance.

Comfortable, relatively clean, and served as a great landing pad for our trip to Yellowstone. We knew it was a basement when we booked this--but be aware that the steps down to the apartment are steep (and some transitions could be made a little safer for those with mobility issues). We stayed in the late fall and there were a few spiders in the apartment that worried the kids. Again, typical for a basement--and the fall--but noteworthily large spiders!

This location is very convenient to the Noth enterance of Yellowstone. It's a downstairs apartment, so it was a little inconvenient getting 6 people's worth I'd stuff downstairs, but I knew that when I booked and I chose it for the reasonable price and location. The only thing we didn't like is that none of the windows lock and we had our kids inside. We were concerned about security, with it being right off the street, but we didn't have any issues. I guess this is a pretty safe area. The kitchen could use a large pot and that would help with cooking, but that's just a small suggestion. Overall, everything went pretty well and I would most likely stay here again
