About this villa rental
My beach house is located in the center of Jaco Beach, one block from main street in the middle of downtown Jaco. Just 5 minutes walk to 3 grocery stores, 2 banks and 30 restaurants and shopping, but yet located in a quiet and private setting.
From our ocean front property you can hear the constant sound of the waves and feel the ocean breeze. We have a beautiful pool right on the front of the beach, to relax in or to entertainment friends and family.
Often you can see the scarlet macaws, toucans, gekos and of course the green iguanas from the property.
The main house is 2 bedroom and the other 4 bedrooms are next to the pool, separated from the house by a beautiful flower garden with over 100 species of plants.
This house is clean, comfortable and very well maintained, has new tile floors, new kitchen cabinets with granite counter tops and new kitchen appliances. All bedrooms have AC for you sleeping comfort and all beds are pillow mattresses with 300 threat count sheets
Manuel Antonio National Park is just one hour drive from the house were you can see different variety of monkeys, tree-sloths and beautiful white sand beaches.
For a thrill you can enjoy the different tours in the area such as the ATV tour or Canopy Zip Line.

The home in Jaco Beach was the perfect size for our two families. Our host was friendly and responsive. The pool and beach access was convenient and fun. The only detractor was the “adult” transactions occurring at the end of the driveway/street. It was sad and stressful to walk past any time we left the house.

Steve and the housekeeping were excellent. They was prompt with responding to all the request we had while there. There was a total of 11 of us and all accommodations were up to par. Initially we were shocked because of the activity on the side street but throughout our stay there we had no worries or concerns with the nightlife activities. We also had an amazing night out on the town with the lady’s that’s take care of the upkeep for the property.

Entire vacation was fantastic. Host / owner and staff could not of been more friendly. Location on the beach, two buildings with multiple bedrooms, common gathering areas and pool made this vacation a huge success for my six buddies and me. The location was very close to the adult activity, casino, stores and restaurants.
Special thanks to the property staff. They worked hard and always seemed to have a smile and positive attitude.

What a perfect location! The house is in the heart of Jaco and pretty much walking distance to everything in town. Steve was a fantastic host. Super responsive during the booking process and was always available throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home and made sure we knew everything about the house and the neighborhood. The house and property are very well maintained. Direct access to the beach is an added bonus. The housekeeping service was fantastic. Steve also recommended Dennis and Melanie for private dining services. They were amazing! The food was excellent and they made sure we were taking care from the second we contacted him. We ended up booking them for two dinners and a breakfast because and regretted not booking them for the length of our stay! Highly recommend their business Bella Vista Cocina if you are looking for private dining service! We will be taking cooking classes during our next stay.

The house is hidden down an unkept alley which was concerning upon arrival. Otherwise, it was exactly as advertised! The rooms were clean and the location was perfect for our group. We had direct beach access with restaurants & clubs literally next door. You could sit in the back and listen to the ocean or turn on the pool waterfall and be in a private oasis. The house is secure and we never were worried about our safety.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The location is excellent - almost too good to be true! Steve is kind and helpful. Vicki and her daughter keep the place super tidy and they are both super sweet. I will recommend to friends and family.

Three generations of our family went to the beach house and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It's super spacious with much more room than our party of 7 needed. The main house could use a bit more lighting, especially in the kitchen, as cooking after dark isn't convenient. The pots and pans were plentiful but the dishes need upgrading. The last recommendation is to upgrade the cable to digital as the analog system is missing multiple channels and the picture doesn't come through well on many. Regardless of those minor issues, it was a great stay and we could easily see ourselves renting it again.

This is me and my friends second time staying here. We really enjoyed the property. Fits 8 adults comfortably with a full kitchen for a chef to cook. Pool was regularly clean and beach access was 20ft away. Steve was a great host with great knowledge of the area and recommendations.

Property and location was just as advertised. It's best attribute were the people - Anna took care of all of our needs promptly and with a constant smile. Gustavo (the private chef recommended) created a meal experience that drew an ovation at a reasonable price and Primo - the driver - was always on time, very knowledgeable and everyone felt safe with him in command. Only downside of the trip was an oven that did not work (stove top worked as did the BBQ so adopting a 'pura vida' attitude meant not having a working oven was not a major obstacle). Our biggest complaint would have to be the condition of the pool - turned from a brilliant blue to a chemical-filled green mess several days after our arrival. Despite daily service visits, they were unable to restore the blue until the day we left. Bottom line - after two weeks in paradise, several family members are already talking about a return visit.

The property was centrally located to town and anything you wanted to do. The beach was pretty but too rough to play in. The pool area was where we spent most of our time. Plenty of chairs to relax and hang out. Plenty of room/beds for large parties

We were a group of 12 first visit to Jaco . Steve and Vickie were excellent hosts. They were nearby for any questions or issues, and they quickly resolved them. The property is gorgeous right on beach for lovely sunsets. pool area was great to hang out. Safe and secure property,near to everything. Steve was a great host, very helpful, great advice/ help for local tours. There were pros and cons though. The pool and patio area/ ocean access and flora was the best part of the property. It is very secure and beautiful. We were disappointed in the maintenance of the house/ villas. It needs some upkeep. The kitchen lighting is dark for cooking and the kitchen amenities were not as expected. The beds in the villas were very hard with flat pillows. The beds in the main house were good.
The farmers market is a worthwhile visit, is just a 20 minute walk on Thursday and Fridays only. The property is close to restaurants and the main grocery store.

The pool was an absolute hit EVERY day, rain or shine! We all lived in and around the pool. The house away from the pool excellent for small kids for safety but close enough to feel always included. Recommend using Steve's chef. His name is Dennis and his business is Bella Vista Cocina. We hired them for a dinner for 6 adults & 2 kids and it was excellent.

We enjoyed the house and local access to everything downtown. There were 10 of us and we were comfortable the whole time. Annie and her sister took great care of us with any request we had. Everything was as advertised in the house. The beach is not as nice or clean as the picture looks, which is obviously not the owner's fault but worthy of noting if the beach is a deal-breaker for you.

PARADISE LIVING
Truly an amazing property. We felt like we were in a tropical paradise, because we were! The accommodations were perfect, spacious, clean - on site cleaning lady came in every am and made everything like it was upon arrival - the location is perfect for access to town and the beach literally at the back door (and the lifeguard tower is right by the gate too) and close to so many excursions. I would definitely say we will be back. This worked well for our group of 8, with a ton of extra space had we been double the number. We ranged in age from 24 to 50 and everyone was thrilled. We were visited by many large iguana, a racoon, macaws, hermit crabs in the thousands, some other crabs that came into the rooms to visit so watch when leaving your doors open! Bats and squirrels, it's was great.
Steve was on hand in minutes to help with any of our needs, a fantastic host. One of our ladies left her ring on the sink when we left and she thought for sure it was a gonnet, but Steve found it and is mailing it for her!
STAY HERE AND SEE WHY PEOPLE MOVE TO THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY - And download Uber - it's super cheap and just as easy to use as anywhere else.
Only word of advice for those traveling with children, the ally to access the house at night is used by a plethora of activities you would want to keep your minors from.
The property is beyond secure and we never felt anything but safe, amd someone was always on site so no worries when going out for the day.

It was a group of seven of us that came out to Steve’s property we enjoyed our stay the location was great we had a private cook come to the house. Nothing can go wrong with this house the beach is the backyard . We will most definitely stay here again when we come back

Needs some updating
The property is well situated and easily walkable to Jaco main drag. However it is located in Sketchy area of Jaco by the Cocal casino. The property was great outside. The doors needed some maintenance as they sometimes worked and other times didn’t. The bathrooms had rusted fixtures, cobwebs, and just generally didn’t seem clean by American standards. The beds only came with a sheet, no blanket presumably to keep you from making the air condition too cold in the bedrooms. The air conditioning in the main living room did not cool. People in tents and on the ground camped right outside the property on the beach that you had to walk around or through their campsite in order to access the beach. Overall an interesting experience but not when I would rush back to.

Steve was the best host I’ve ever had. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He helped us book our zip lining and whitewater rafting trip. The house was amazing and right on the beach. I wouldn’t recommend to stay anywhere else but here when traveling to Jaco.

Location, location, location. Steve is great. Very responsive. House is near everything you might need. Wish the bath towels were a little nicer - lots of showers between beach, pool, activities and heat. But overall a very functional and convenient place to stay.
