Very nice Venture Out unit. Very clean, and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Lobster is a nice touch, grandkids loved it. Will book this unit in the future.

Close enough to Key West, but still very affordably priced. Very relaxing place to stay.

The house was nice and kept cool at 74 degrees with no fans. Only thing is I wish we had bicycles to ride around the neighborhood. We've previously stayed at other homes and they had bicycles so my daughters were hoping we had some but the property did not. Since it's at the end of the subdivision the walk to the rec center and pool is a bit of a hike but doable. Make sure to bring paper towels bc the house only has the gas station paper towels. Fridge is nice and large and accomodated all our food and drinks. They even had a nice little hotel shampoo and conditioner for the bathrooms. Plenty of pillows and blankets and the beds were comfortable.

This house is clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and a great deck with a water view. It's an easy drive for a day in Key West or the ferry to Dry Tortugas National Park or Bahia Honda State Park for swimming and snorkeling. The pool is large and not crowded for a quick dip in the evening. There is a small convenience store on the property. Would we stay here again?? YES!!!

The property was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to be close to Key West. It is very well maintained and had everything we needed.

The unit had every possible amenity you could possibly want. We loved sitting on the waterfront deck in the evenings and relaxing. There was plenty of linens including beach towels and the community pool was fantastic. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!!

We really enjoyed it. The place is clean, top arranged and located 1*.
It would have been nice if the owner would have advertised, that there is a resort fee (125$ for three nights). But that was the only bad surprise.

This was our second year at VO, 1st at this location. The home was immaculate and well stocked, safe and cozy. Loved the canal traffic and private residences across the canal. Made for a very quiet two weeks. The resort can be “busy” toward the center, and we liked being on the outskirts. As we are mid 60s, we were beyond appreciative of the outside motion lights at night and extra lighting throughout the home. Maria was very responsive to questions and a grill concern. In fact, she had a new one delivered within days of us discovering the one on site was broken. This was very much appreciated - as well as the neighbor who offered to put it together so we could enjoy our day. We love that VO is 25 min north of Key West and about 45 min south of Marathon - the best of all worlds!

We arrived 5 min after normal checking at 3 pm and unit had not been cleaned from previous rental. Had to wait over an hour until could use bathrooms and put our belongings away. Cleaner left laundry in washer and did not come back - we ended up finishing it. Otherwise no significant issues and unit has s great view up the canal. Guards were rude and unhelpful upon arrival 1/7/2024. When called due to inability to get in gate at pool, their response was to flag down someone already in the pool to open it for us. Guards had no respect for guests and old and young alike rude - maybe just because we are over 55?

We really enjoyed our stay. We hadn't stayed in Cudjoe Key before, but found that there was plenty to do and plenty of places to eat.
We were disappointed that the ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work, and that it was a little farther than a 5 minute walk to the pool in the Venture Out community, but we had a great stay.
8.0 / 10.0
We had a very nice stay. We loved how the community was active during the day, but very quiet at night. We felt safe walking anywhere on the grounds. The unit itself fit our needs for size and location. We are pretty particular about cleanliness and did do some touchups upon arrival, but most people would be fine with it the way it was. Only things that would improve our rating is if there were more kitchen linens and if bed linens and pillows would be updated. Also the gas grill needed a good cleaning so we didn't use it. We would stay at Venture Out again if our travel plans bring us to the Florida Keys again. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Stayed with my husband, our 5 month old, my sister, her husband and their 5 year old. Place was accurately described and clean. It had everything you could need in a vacation home: plenty of linens, washer/dryer, great water pressure, excellent AC, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee maker and even a rice cooker. The weather was not typical Keys weather when we arrived but because of this spacious home, while it rained and was chilly outside, we were able to host my other sister, her husband and two boys indoors. They rent an RV spot at Venture Out ever year but when you're forced to be indoors for 2-3 days, an RV quickly becomes uncomfortable so we were happy to have them over. We also hosted Christmas dinner at the house.
Appliances (stove, dishwasher and fridge) and grill might look little outdated but they all functioned very well. We cooked and grilled food for 12 people on multiple days! Plenty of seating meant everyone could eat and spend quality family time together comfortably.
Maria was responsive with any questions or concerns we had. Would definitely rebook if we return to the Keys/stay at Venture Out. If you're doing your research, book early bc spots sell out pretty quickly. We booked our stay a year in advance!

Property & location was perfect! Stuff to do insight and just a quick trip to Key West for daytime (or nighttime) adventure. Check in and out was easy. Would stay here again!!

The house and the area were nice. The beds weren't very comfortable. And when we arrived there was dirty silverware in the drawers. The floors looked clean, but really needed to be mopped. My granddaughter took her shoes off and within a few minutes her feet were brown from walking through the house.

Been to venture out many times over the years and this has been the best property so far. Very clean with new appliances
Will be booking for next year

Loved it so much we already booked for next year.

The stay was very nice. There was an additional 100 dollar charge when we arrived for using Venture Out resort which I thought was excessive considering we paid for the stay

Everything was wonderful, with the exception of ants in the kitchen. It was a great location to be in between the northern and southern keys. However, we still had to buy items that I felt should have been there for our use, for the price we paid, (i.e……toilet paper, bath soap, dish washer pods/soap). But this place is still a great place to stay.

The area is great. The property suited out needs. The only exception - the property is located too far from the pool and amenities to walk (especially in 90 degree heat). While the men went fishing, we were unable to use the facilities. (We are all over 70 and in pretty good health) Venture Out is a great subdivision but it is quite large.

We all enjoyed our stay there. Everyone was comfortable. Television wouldn’t work, but was corrected. Nice place to stay, would stay there again.

We arrived to a clean, bright, well equipped home right on the water. Could not have been more pleased with the location. Just a short drive to Key West yet very private and serene. The sunsets were gorgeous! This unit provides every necessity right down to a fully stocked linen closet and extra cozy blankets. This was exactly what we needed to escape the long winter in NH. We even had friends come down from mid state Florida to visit and they want to join us next time to stay in Venture Out. This unit in particular was the best we have stayed in this far. Thank you to the owners, you thought of everything! The pool, convenient store and beach area were all just perfect as well. We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay at Venture Out. Many things to do and close enough to the keys to day trip. Will definitely try to rent again.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and we honestly did not want to leave. What a little piece of paradise. Home was clean, spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Dishwasher Washing machine and dryer

We had a wonderful few days here and were really sorry to leave today. Cudjoe Key is a lot more peaceful than some of the other keys. Our house overlooked one of the channels and we often saw pelicans flying past when we sat on the back balcony. The swimming pool was lovely and warm even in early January though more umbrellas would have been good as there were only 4 umbrellas and they were in the smokers’ area. It would also have been nice if there had been a bar there to have a beer at the end of the day. The house itself was a real treat to stay in and I can recommend it thoroughly.

The home, location and facilities were perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more. Easy drive into Key West and plenty to do at Venture Out. A well deserved 5 stars.

We love Venture Out and have stayed there several times. This property was our favorite so far. Beautiful and well appointed, the perfect location if you have a boat with you. Canal is wide and close to the open water. The house is comfortable and super clean. We will definitely book here again!

We had such a fantastic time! The rooms were great the beds were comfortable, and it just felt like there was plenty of room for all of us. It was an easy trip into key West, and an easy trip North to other keys. We didn't want to leave! And we would definitely stay there again!

The property was spotless and the property manager was quick to reply with the few questions that we had. The Venture Out resort was clean and the people there were all friendly. The house location for us was great! We brought our boat to go fishing and there was a bait shop and fishing store (Cudjoe Sales) within 1/2 mile of the resort. The resort also had a store on property that had pretty much everything you would need in a pinch...fuel for you boat too. We will definitely be booking again for next year!
