Gorgeous stilt home with beautiful ocean views. This Lobstering paradise is just 1 house down from open water on a deep 60 foot wide canal, breath taking open water views, direct access to the Atlantic and the Gulf via Kemp channel, 35' concrete dock/seawall with a fish cleaning station. Beautiful views of the open water from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Perfect location to tie up your boat. This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath home with spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, the second bedroom has twin beds. Central A/C and heat, overhead ceiling fans, full kitchen with microwave, full size washer/dryer, HD flat screen TV in living room and master bedroom, high speed internet, WiFi, and U-verse TV, beach towels, linens, dishes, glasses and wine glasses etc.
During the peak summer/winter seasons and holidays, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as described. We have stayed in venture out many times before so we are very aware of the resort rules. If you have not stayed here before I would highly recommend reading through their rules. Their rules are fair, but it is very important to understand items such as vehicle parking and trailer parking. Really enjoyed the quick access to the main channel this house offers. Also nice to have a bait freezer available. The house was very clean and was well equipped this house could use, just a little bit of cosmetic updating but all in all a great place to stay.

We visit the lower Keys every year. While we’ve stayed on other islands occasionally, we always come back to Cudjoe Key and Venture Out.
We’ve stayed in Barbara’s unit at least twice and it always meets expectations. The bait freezer is a great asset and this time there were two coffee makers: one drip and one k-cup style.
Plenty of linens and towels for our family of 6, and a clean, comfortable place to be.

I named him Rob because he got my bait off the fish cleaning table! Please feed him, he may have forgotten how to hunt after two weeks of non stop grunts!!!

The home was lovely and clean. Ruby, the onsite property manager, was great in getting us set up with bicycles so we could ride to the pool, because the unit did not have any. If I were to recommend any improvements, it would be to add a few extras like this - bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, travel coffee mugs, etc, since many other units have them. Overall, the house and location are great, and our family enjoyed our stay!

At the far northern end of VO with a great, unobstructed view of the bay and a balcony exposed to the usual easterly breeze, this was an ideal location.
Docking was easy with washdown water and and an electrical outlet nearby, and the dedicated bait/chum/fish freezer on the ground level was very convenient.
The interior was roomier than other places we've stayed in VO. We normally bring most of our food and cook meals, and the kitchen was great for that with a large island with barstoool seating. The grill on the ground level was large, clean, and fully functional. Having two full bathrooms (one with a tub) was also a big upgrade for our family of four.
The host/owner, Barbara, was consistently responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us on our annual trip to the Lower Keys. Perfectly furnished home and with the most stunning views. We have been caming to Venture Out for the last 3 years, and this has been our favorite by far. Easy access to the canal and the open water from motor or kayak boat. Our neighbors did quite a bit of fishing from the canal and caught loads of fish, fishing is just not our jam. We did have some trouble with the grill, but the on-site manager was quick to come over and assist. We hope to book with you in the years to come.

Another Vacation in Paradise
My husband and I have been coming to Venture Out for the past 12 years. We loved staying in your home. It was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay and we loved the view of the ocean from our porch. Going to the pool is one of our favorite past times. We get to meet so many people and have a great time there! Key West is just a half hour drive from V.O. so we get to visit it many times during our stay. Fun in Cudjoe Key
Bed was a double, not a Queen as indicated. Ceiling fans and free stand fan were extremely dusty… unable to turn them on d/t dust on them.
Coffee pot and some dishes needed cleaned before use. I felt as though I had to clean before in packing. Drawers are dirty… kept clothes in the luggage. No TP or hangers in unit however, owner did get us some immediately.
We thought we had fishing poles available but there were none to use. It would have been nice to have a kayak or two at the property and also 2 bikes.
Bedding is old and quite stained. Otherwise, the location is exquisite.
