This hotel is very remarkable. It has a nice colonial (in the best sense of the word) house style. Decorations are local Kmer style inspired (like apsaras, potteries and sandstone accents) and colonial french style (like old money, retro appliances and grandpa clocks). The staff is exceptionally attentive and will be on the alert for anything that you might possibly need, even if you are not aware of it yet yourself ;) The outside pool.has the perfect size compared to the overall size of the hotel. There is also a small covered pool in the breakfast area in case you are scared the monsoon rains might wet your head while you swim... The room we had was an upgrade (the family room) and was bigger than my apartment. Breakfast and coffee were very good and a la carte with a healthy mix on the menu between local (kmer/thai) and western options. It included some veggie options too but rather limited. I would advise vegetarians or vegans to just inform the staff upon arrival of your dietary preferences and no doubt the staff will make an extra effort to provide you with more options there as well. To explore nearby Angkor Wat we rented a motorbike through the hotel and the next day we got a very comfy as good as new bike. It was even looked after at night and the staff asked me not to lock it so they could put it inside in case it rained. Just an example of the level of service you get in this highly recommended place. The location of the hotel is coveniently in the middle in between Angkor wat main temple and Siem Reap city center. I recommend to rent a small automatic motorbike to explore the area.
Only one very small thing, the mixing of hot and cold water in the shower is tricky, but that seems to be related to water pressure and seems to be a national problem that we encountered in lots of hotels in both Thailand and Cambodia. Anyway, this should definitely not put you off to stay in this fantastic place.

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good WiFi, nice (but compact) pool area.
Good breakfast.
Nothing, it was all good.

Good service, hospitality.
A room was little different from what I expected when reserving.

Very friendly hotel, they go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Helpful organising tours and even let us use another room when we were checking out in the evening and our room was booked. Overall good hotel and especially kind and friendly.
Only stairs and no lift might be an issue for some, could improved the packed breakfast if you do a sunrise tour

Very nice colonial style hotel, extremely sympatic crew.
Meas who work for the hotel helped me find a good tuktuk guide, picked me up at the airport, he hugely made my trip easyer.
Also the hotel restaurant is very good.

Staff was amazing
Breakfast a la carte and tea break were very good
Very good swimming pool
Wifi was sketchy, disconnected for minutes in the room and also trying for common areas it was not good for enough for calls or streaming
Some services were far overpriced: motorbike rental 20$ for a click while in the city center it was 10$

We loved our time at Mane and the helpfulness of all staff at the breakfast, reception, housekeeping etc everyone went above and beyond to keep us satisfied. The highlight of our trip was definitely going on a tour with a guide to the temples lead by our lovely guide Sot Ra (Sara). The tour and transport were entirely organised by Meas from the Mane who took great care of us. Thank you! We had a wonderful time! Would highly recommend!

some of the staff is very dedicated. The location is straight away to temples by bike
didn’t look at all like 5 stars hotel, huge prices for the quality they offer. I didn’t liked so I did early checkout

One of the most nice hosts I’ve experienced in my travels. During our trip there were street works and as we didn’t have any sleep on the night before due to travelling the hotel manager arranged for us to stay at the sister hotel, which was equally fabulous.

Firstly the staff were absolutely delightful (especially Phea), they made our stay feel special and went the extra mile to help celebrate an important day. The property itself is gorgeous, clean, quiet and extremely well located. The complimentary breakfast, pick ups and advice really made for a luxury experience at a reasonable price. 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.

The customer relations is what gives this boutique hotel 5 stars. Post-Covid recovery is difficult for everyone, but particularly challenging for the hospitality industry. I am so glad we booked with the Mane Colonial Classic for our visit to Angkor Wat so soon after Cambodia opened up again Post-Covid. Mr. Phea was super helpful from the first message he sent right after I booked. Ms Need and Mr Key also messaged me before we arrived to offer any assistance I requested. I appreciated the helpfulness and personal touch these people gave me.
We had already booked our Angkor Wat tours through Mr. Thean (Angkor Guide & Transport), so we did not need to book a tour through our hotel. However, I’m pretty sure that if we had, it would have been a good experience.
We asked Mr Phea to help us with bike rentals for our family of 4, and he got us great bikes at a good price delivered directly to the hotel.
Mr Phea helped us book a tuk tuk to Pub street and other places in Siem Reap that we wanted to visit.
All the staff were always full of smiles and sincerely helpful.
We were given complimentary airport pick up, drop off, late check out, breakfast, foot massage, and afternoon tea. Amazing service! Above and beyond what we expected.
We booked a 2 bedroom suite with Netflix, perfect for our family of 4 (me, my husband, son 14yrs, daughter 12yrs). We appreciated having 2 bathrooms and private bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet except for the rooster across the street, but most mornings we got up early anyways for touring. If I could do it differently next time, I would request a room on the side of the hall away from the hotel main entrance so we would not hear the rooster.
My daughter’s birthday was a few days before we traveled to Cambodia. On our last evening here, the staff surprised my daughter with a birthday cake and singing. She LOVED IT! They decorated her room and bed just for her. Wow!
The hot water in the shower in the master bedroom was a bit tricky to get to work, but we eventually figured it out. The hotel is small, and there weren’t really any gardens. The building next door had some construction right next to the hotel swimming pool, so we didn’t really want to swim. The breakfast was delicious (ordered off a breakfast menu), but we did not eat any other meals at the hotel because the food was quite expensive.

Although this hotel is not new, but it’s well maintained. The room is clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful 3 nights at this hotel.

Breakfast Khmer food menu is better than average. Fresh juices are available which is also better than the average.
Suite rooms are very large with capsule coffee machine and 2 room services per day.
Stuffs are helping.
Comparing to other hotels in Siem Reap, the location is not perfect.
When I choose the hotel name under Colonial Classic, I was expecting some larger area of the hotel with yards, but the hotel is relatively small.
Piano is out of tune.

The best of it was the staff, they are amazing, they do an excellent job and go the extra mile in every single detail. All of them, from the Front Office Supervisor, the team at the Front Desk, the restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance, driver, ALL of them deliver an exceptional service!
Hotel infrastructure was delightful, beautifully classic (as its name indicates), well maintained, clean, calm.

The staffs are really sweet and caring.like need a good phea. Helping u everyday whenever you needed. One of the best service I’ve experienced so far in Cambodia. Free afternoon tea and breakfast is really great. They trying their best to make u feel like home.
The hotel messaged me a little too much even though it’s from a good cause.

An elegant boutique hotel in close proximity to Angkor Wat. The hotel offers a free airport pick-up and drop-off which is extremely convenient. The staff are just amazing, friendly, courteous and wanting to help all the time. Ms. Need, Mr.Phea and Mr Kee provided us with the best service possible. It was a family holiday and we stayed two nights. The hotel arranged a boat ride to the Kampong Phluk Floating Village on the first day and on next day to Angkor Wat and surrounding archaeological sites. The hotel staff were so thoughtful that they had a photocopied our son’s passport (he is under 12 years) so he could enter archaeological sites without a ticket. It was indeed the gold standard in customer service. The family suite had two spacious rooms, two bathrooms and a large lounge and dining area. The hotel offers high-tea for all guests between 4-5pm. There are tuk tuks near the hotel to the Old Market at Siam Reap which has several Khmer restaurants and souvenir shops. The hotel gave complimentary foot massage for the entire family on the last day. We all had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday in Siam Reap.

For being an old building the interior was very nice and rooms are well maintained. We also received a nice surprise on the last night with our bed decorated like a honeymoon style. The room was exactly as advertised, and food from the restaurant was tasty and authentic.
Massage room was a little dated and could do with some improvement.
10.0 / 10.0
The hotel provided a 5 star plus service. It was totally personalised for our needs, from Mr Key the hotel manager, who organised our temple visits with tour guide Mr Vera, to the restaurant staff who provided cocktails by the pool, the hotel tuk tuk driver who was cheerful and drove with skill and care to the spa experience on the last day. The room was a large suite, with sitting area and balcony. Our bed was particularly comfortable. We liked everything and hope we can visit again.
Observation rather than didn't like - showers needed to be run for a while to get warm water.
