As soon as you walk into this beautiful home I could feel my mind and body relax. All of the features in this house speak of the wonderful natural resources we are blessed with.
The owners have thought of everything, even popcorn for the theater room.
My check in was very easy.
There is an amazing grocery store within a few miles of the house.
I will definitely be returning.

The cabin was exceptional and exactly as described and built with many custom details. Excellent craftsmanship by the owner Carl and the cabin was well stocked with all amenities needed for a relaxing stay! The waterfall was a favorite spot both morning and evening, sitting in the swing enjoying the natural setting. Thank you Carl and Bridget memorable vacation exploring Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville and Marshall!

This place is incredible! My family and I only stayed one night as we were passing through the area and my only regret is I wish we had more time. We will most certainly be back! This cabin was very unique and the communication from the host was excellent. Thanks again for an awesome stay!

We had the best time staying in this awesome cabin! Bridget and Carl were amazing hosts, even stopping by when we got there to show us how to work everything!! It was very clean, well stocked, and their attention to detail showed from the welcome sign to the sweet boxes of candy they left us in the movie theater! The amenities were fantastic and the location was very convenient to the downtown area yet you feel nice and secluded on the property! We will definitely visit again in the future!

perfect cabin in the woods with local amenities. This cabin had that get away feel. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Not too far down the road was a generous sized Ingles grocery store. Made it easy to shop without missing out on our stay. We also drove to the Biltmore for the Christmas evening tour. The drive was not too bad of a commute. Although for us that get car sickness, it was challenging. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

It's also super close to different activities. we were able to go to a gem mine maybe 15 minutes away! We also really enjoyed the theater and the good selection of movies! Communication was easy and there were no issues! We will be staying here again!

This was an incredible stay! The cabin is beautifully appointed with everyrhing you could possibly need. The craftsmanship is outstanding and we were fortunate enough to meet the owner who built it from the ground up.
The location is perfect close to many areas of interest and an Ingles. It is private and secluded but convenient to everything.
As for the management, it was the best I have experienced. Both Carl and Bridget went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed and were so helpful when we had an issue with a fedex.
The entire experience was fabulous. We will definitely return.

Our group would like to give a shout out to the builder/owner of this cabin, the woodwork was stellar! We could not have asked for a better weekend getaway out of the regular hustle and bustle of the city. The ambience of the cabin in the woods was very peaceful and we are definitely looking forward to our future bookings!!!

This property is beautiful, functional and well appointed. Very pleased with the property itself and highly recommend.
We felt the check-in process was a bit overdone and felt we were being too closely watched. We received multiple texts to understand when we would arrive and to coordinate with property manager who coordinated with the owner so he could provide us instructions on how to use the TV and speakers. (This could have been easily provided in a instructions page.) We also were also surprised to receive a text 1.5 hours after check in to confirm the number in our party. We had advised that we had a family of 3 that might visit (they did) and when they showed up we received the text from the property manager to confirm that additional guests were not planning to stay at the property. We understood and stayed within the guidelines, but did not appreciate feeling our every move was being watched.

Located near by Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, this beautiful log cabin is a delightful retreat.
The owners live nearby and are very kind and responsive. The house was meticulously clean throughout.
A long private drive down a tree-lined road brings you to parking where you are greeted by a beautiful log home with full wrap-around covered porch, a nice manicures which yard with zip line and small pond with waterfall the owners artistically created.
Being a builder myself, I marveled at the quality of the craftsmanship of the home. The owner harvest all the wood used to build the home from the property. The engineering and detail of the work is simply mesmerizing.
On the main level there is a well stocked kitchen and open living and dining area with vaulted ceilings and fireplace with lots of windows and natural light. There is a nice bedroom and a full bath on the main floor as well. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and full bath. The jacuzzi tub is huge and super relaxing (initially, we wanted a place with a hot tub but the jacuzzi tub is like having an indoor hot tub :). In the walk-out basement, there is a large TV media room with amazing sound system plus the washer and dryer.
We enjoyed meals in the porch listening to wildlife and nature. There were rabbits, birds and turkey that visited us during our short stay.
Looking for a clean, private, peaceful retreat … look no further. You’ve found your place. Enjoy!

I have to say this is the cleanest, most comfortable cabin I have ever stayed at. Myself, my husband and our four-year-old had the best time at this cabin. Carl greeted us when we arrived, gave us a quick history of the cabin and showed us how to use all of the electronics. The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and you can tell the high level of craftsmanship that went into building it. We loved the wrap around porch and sitting on the swing in front of the waterfall. My husband used the grill for several of our meals during our stay. We made several runs to the local grocery store, and it was so convenient that it was only 1.5 miles down the road. I believe that is the only grocery store in the Lake Lure area so it was great to be close by yet the location of the cabin itself feels very secluded. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with lots of extras provided that have not been included in other cabins I have stayed at. The theater room was a big hit with my four-year-old. Not only did she love that she was in a "movie theater" to watch her favorite cartoons, but there was a "stage" where she could perform her latest songs she has composed...lol. Outside, there was plenty of activities to keep us entertained between playing horseshoes, croquet, riding the zip line, spotting the fireflies, or just enjoying watching our child running around the flat backyard. Beyond the cabin Itself, the location was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

We SO enjoyed our time at the cabin. Carl met us on arrival to show us around. The cabin was spacious and beautiful. The woodworking details were gorgeous and added to the coziness of the space. Everything was very tidy. We loved the waterfall and the peaceful surroundings outside. Will hopefully return for another visit!!!

My wonderful girlfriend surprised me with a very special getaway birthday weekend to this amazing log cabin home. Upon check-in, we met a gentleman who showed us the ropes of the home and made us feel welcome. From that point forward the weekend was near perfection. The downtown area was very nice with plenty of shopping and enough to eat and drink to keep anyone happy. The cabin was cozy and very inviting. The wood-burning fireplace was a nice touch and made for a special romantic evening. The place was very well kept and the huge theater in the basement should keep anyone looking for movie entertainment satisfied. Overall I give the cabin, its location, and owners a 5-star review. Enjoy .

My husband and I stayed in January and the location is great as we wanted a slightly remote cabin to relax. It’s super clean and stocked with so many extras and great touches! The bathtub upstairs is huge, my feet didn’t even touch the other end lol so it was nice. The theater room was easy to use even with all of the equipment and we really enjoyed it. The only complaint is the center recliner doesn’t recline so if you want to sit comfortably side by side, you have to use the big couch instead. That was chilly and static-y for me to sit on the leather couch in the winter, no one else would have an issue but it wasn’t listed in the listing and he just forgot to tell us during checkin, no biggie. The cozy blankets down there were great too. We didn’t get to use the fireplace but plenty of wood was provided. Would love to stay again and to send my parents in the future to enjoy it! Check out was easy too.

This was the perfect lake cabin for our fall get away! Our experience was phenominal. Carl and Bridgette were great communicators and very responsive to our questions. Carl met us at the house and walked through what we needed to know about the electronics and other specifics related to the house. The cabin is in a great location with easy access to all that Lake Lure has to offer. We ventured out to Hendersonville one day and loved just exploring the area. The cabin was impeccably clean with lots of details thought of and basics supplied (napkins, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, laundry pods, etc.). The cabin is super cool...we loved eating on the huge deck and listening to the waterfall. It provided the escape we were looking for and is exactly what we needed to recharge. We stayed in October and look forward to a return in the summer months. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and being incredible hosts!

We stayed at a beautiful cabin in Mill Spring near Lake Lure. It was located near everything we were interested in. Took a boat tour of Lake Lure, visited a beautiful Winery, shopped in Chimney Rock Village and went over to historical Hendersonville. We also saw a black bear in the street in Lake Lure. Overall, a very good time was had by our whole party. Our cabin had an outdoor waterfall, horse shoes, a zip line and a downstairs theater room. Doesn't get much better than that. Our hosts were the best.
