As much as we love children and pets this house is not child priff. IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR SMALL CHILDREN, PETS, OR HANDICAPPED. There is not a fenced yard and it is filled with antiques. There are small step ups and step downs. Thanks for understanding.
If you reserve for 30 consecutive days I can remove the tax.

Our housekeeper uses disinfectant to clean and sanitize all aspects of our Sunday Haus. There is a lockbox for entrance and it along with the key is also sanitized.

This place was adorable and perfect for hanging out with friends.

It was definitely a blast from the past exactly as described. Many Antiques and very quaint. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do! My issues were the 2nd bathroom needs updating! I’m a petite woman but the shower would be impossible for a larger person I think. Also the water squirts out of the shower when you turn it on. Windows and doors need updating to keep road noise down and I could hear the people across the street inside the house. Fans in both rooms make sounds like they need work.

We loved the house! It had everything we needed and the most comfortable bedding! Very charming decor and easy walk to Main Street. Would stay again!

This historic Sunday House was perfect for our 10 day stay in Fredericksburg. It was very comfortable and well supplied. Great location too. We walked to the German Bakery for breakfast. It is close to downtown and centrally located for driving to Enchanted Rock or the wineries.

I bought a 3 day, 2 night getaway for my wife and I as one of her Christmas gifts, and it was well worth every penny!! I love history, especially TX history, and this house has it in bunches! Aside from the perfect location (walking distance to Main St), the property is beautifully decorated with many family heirlooms and has a very fresh, comfy feel. While that weekend was quite cold, we stayed perfectly warm and enjoyed all that the house had to offer! Pat was so easy to work with and her responses to inquiries was very timely; she is a wonderful host! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet getaway to Fredricksburg, coupled with easy walking distance to Main St, topped off with rich TX history, this is the place to book! Thank you Pat!

Not only was the host, Pat extremely responsive to a couple of our questions she accommodated us when we realized we forgot an item at the house. The home was just perfect, near town, clean, just as described. Everything we needed was there and we loved reading about the family history of this Sunday House. We are thankful that she shared the home with us and we look forward to staying there again.

The house was adorable. It was extremely clean and well kept. The decor match the amazing history of the house in town. The location was perfect as we could walk in a very few short minutes to reach all the activities, restaurants and entertainment on the main street of the downtown area. Anyone who stays here will love the location and love the house. We had an amazing time!

What a lovely house! It was clean, and cozy. Pat has made sure this home is as comfortable as possible despite it's age. The area is pretty quiet. You can hear the church bells, but we all found it very charming! You can walk everywhere from this location. We walked to the nearby HEB, main street, the nearby antique stores... everywhere! There were three deer that roamed around too. It was just a lovely stay!
Notables: Be very mindful of the doorknobs. If you pull just a tad too hard, some will come off in your hand. They pop right back on, but it's a bit of a shock. lol The door that separates the two bedrooms will open on it's own. We could not get the lock to line up, but it stayed closed so we didn't think anything of it. Then at 4:45am, it just swung open. The sink in the kitchen does not have hot water. But, everywhere else does. Keep in mind, none of these things were a hinderance to our experience, just things with which to be aware. :)

I don’t want anyone else to know how awesome this property is! Great location!

Quaint house a few blocks from Main St. Comfortable beds, kitchen so we could make breakfast, and 2 full bathrooms which was great since it was me and my husband and sister. You do have to walk through the 1st bedroom to get to the other one, or you can use the key and access from outside, it really wasn't a big deal. I'd stay here again for sure.

It was perfect for our BFF retreat. The open door between the 2 bedrooms let us chat while winding down. We loved the house. The parking lot is huge. Very comfortable. It was a great weekend!
4.8
The haus was perfect. Situated just off Main near the German Bakery and Crossroads for live music. We were just a party of two and enjoyed having the extra space. Living area was comfortable with leather recliners. A/C worked great! Bed and pillows were comfortable. We would come back again. Thank you!

The house is very nostalgic and cozy. Would have stayed forever. Pat was also very sweet. We will return.

The property is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It is very clean and comfortable ~ including the beds. The house is in a great location for shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet overnight and seeing deer in the backyard in the evenings was an added treat.
