Ski Access: Located near the White Otter Access trail. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid-December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid-April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out unless White Otter Lift is running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Put skis on by the garage. Exit the cabin skier’s right. Ski across the cul-du-sac between cabin 16 and 18 Oglala Road. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. There are a few flat sections that will require poling or skating. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Ski In:

Follow the road to Oglala Road and turn right. Immediately turn left on Oglala Road. Your cabin is the second on the right. (Green access) OR (if road is melted) at the end of the bridge turn right and then follow the sign on the left for Oglala Access. Get off the access next to 4B and then walk back to your cabin.

Love the location. Few things that need to be fixed/addressed.
Downstairs bar fridge not working. Property mgr tried to fix but we were fine without it. Just a heads up.
There is a TV on the floor next to foosball table. Again, didn’t bother us
Windows on main level living room need cleaning…bad
Had trouble with TV on main level…property mgr fixed. He was awesome.
Everyone on staff is very responsive and super nice.
We would definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful place to relax.

Nice house with beautiful furnishings! Our family of eight had plenty of room and we would definitely come back again. The dishwasher was a little difficult to turn on, but other than that everything was great.

This property did everything we needed. Our group of 10 had 3 families with kids as young as 9 and 7 adults. We had plenty of room.
The heated garage was a great way to get our gear dry and ready for the next day on the slopes.
The only issue we had was with the ski-in directions. The signs the owners reference for directing you back to the house do not exist. We made our way back each day but not very easily. As long as there is enough snow on the neighborhood streets, skiing out is easy enough.

Great cabin, great location, well maintained and stocked with everything you need. We weren't lucky with snow so ski-in/ski-out was challenging but still doable. With better snow would be excellent. Note: the laminated flyer with ski-in/ski-out instructions found in the dining hutch is more clear than the instructions on the Vrbo site. Also, WiFi username/password are correct on the instructions on the kitchen bar.
We look forward to going to back to Big Sky when the snow is better and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this house. It was beautiful, well maintained and perfect location. Loved the easy access to the ski village. Loved the second living room for extra seating and a great hang out spot for the kids.
The kitchen was well stocked! Property management was also very responsive.

There were many positives to this house, and we really enjoyed it, however, it was the start with enough basics to get through the week… People, towels, laundry, pods, dishwasher, pods, etc. the really frustrating thing was that there was no explanation to the sound system or the televisions and we could not get them to work properly much of the time. Also, because there were no explanations, apparently the outdoor speakers were blasting and disturb the neighbors.

Overall enjoyed our stay and the property. Plenty of room and nice layout of the rooms. Kitchen is very well equipped. The few issues we had were quickly resolved by the property management.

Stayed a few Oglala Rd cabins throughout the last couple of years. This is our favorite Oglala cabin so far. The layouts are all the same pretty much but the furnishings here are some of the best and are family friendly. House management was easy to work with, we had an internet problem that they immediately got to work on to address.
Hot tub and other parts of the house were nicely maintained and clean. The cabin is great for skiers with easy access to the mountain and easier access back to cabin via slopes. If you have never done Big Sky before this is a highly recommended property that easily accessible and private. Offering Amazing views from every single window.

Ascend properties were wonderful to work with our family of 8. Home had excellent areas for all of us to dine, relax and game with all of us together.
We’re looking for our next Big Sky trip together!

We had three families stay in the house with a total of 10 people. 6 adults and 4 kids and it was perfect. Definitely will book again!

Everyone in our group loved this cabin - it was truly ski in and ski out - we did that virtually every day. A bummer was that the wood burning fireplace on the main floor could not be used, which we definitely would have done. The kitchen was well stocked with tools - we ate in every night, so made great use of it. There were tons of clean towels and the hot tub also was used a LOT! Communication with Ascend was superb - very responsive which I value highly.
Big Sky is gorgeous - the skiing is fantastic, and we had a great Christmas!
