About this cottage rental
My place is close to family-friendly activities and the city center. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The Cottage Suite is a romantic and cozy cottage creating a perfect getaway for two. The cottage is just steps from local restaurants that will please every palate, from fine dining to casual bistros and mouthwatering Thai, German, or Mexican fare…
Visit the local boutiques, hitch a ride on the historic trolley tour, go hiking with the many trails all around Jacksonville, and enjoy strolling through the antique and art shops. End your afternoon with some local winetasting, and grab a bottle and head back to the cottage back patio with a wine barrel firepit, gardens, and water garden.
Inside hosts a surprisingly large bedroom with a rather comfy king-sized bed complete with bamboo sheets and a down alternative comforter. The cottage is uniquely decorated with a bit of history, whimsy, and fabulous finds. The shower is a large walk in and made for two. Fireplaces are located in the bedroom and the living room for warmth or some extra ambiance.
The kitchenette is quaint but mighty, and appointed with everything you need to prepare a light meal. The local market features home cooked tri tip right in front of you making it all to easy to grab and go and enjoy a home style meal without much effort.
If you are coming for the famous Britt Music Festival, then you’ve come to the right place. 5 minute walk to Britt.
We are happiest when our guests are happy.
Property has outside surveillance for your safety.
Key pad on the door.
Must be at least 25 years of age to book.

This is a sweet little place with nice private outdoor area. The king size bed is extremely comfortable! I had some friends over to sit on the patio for wine and snacks before the Willie Nelson concert. I would stay here again for sure!

Our stay in Jacksonville was great. The location of the property is perfect for walking anywhere in town. It was comfortable and stocked well. How surprised we were to have a complementary, local bottle of wine! Nice touch:-)

Great location, comfy bed, nice little patio to hang out. Lovely time in a lovely town. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative is it is a bit loud during the day with traffic on the main road nearby. Nighttime - not a problem.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to Jacksonville and a grocery store right across the street. We were in town for a family reunion of sorts and it was wonderful to come back at night and relax outside in the beautiful private yard.

We loved the cottage! It is in the historic part of town, within walking distance of many places. It is about a 15-minute walk to the Britt Festival venue. Parking is easy.
The unit was spacious and comfortable for the two of us and had many thoughtful extras. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and several healthy snacks. The mini kitchen was well-equipped and even had an induction burner. It did not have an oven, but we did not want one (it was vacation!). The unit had nice pans and several useful cooking utensils.
The unit had many handy surfaces to use. The air conditioning kept the unit cool and comfortable despite temperatures in the high 80s, low 90s. The king-size bed was comfortable and had many blanket options.
We especially loved the patio in the back. It was large, private, and shaded, and had several options for seating. We did not use the propane fire pit, but it looked inviting.
The unit was decorated in what I would call the shabby chic style, with several cute décor items and a nice blue and brown color scheme. It was very welcoming.
The unit is across the street from Ray’s Market, which is a nice place to shop. They have a good selection of groceries, and the workers are very friendly. At night, we could hear what sounded like a refrigerator unit at Rays, but it sounded like white noise and did not bother us. The bedroom also contained a white noise machine.
We would like to stay at the cottage again next year.

This place was so cute and decorated so fun. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked. The location can’t be beat. A couple of blocks from the Main Street and grocery store right across the street.

This is the cutest little apartment- actually it’s not little at all but very nicely built and decorated, roomy living space, bed and bath with walk in shower. I would love to stay here again. Close to everything, grocery store across the street and we walked all around Jacksonville. Great place. Very clean.

I love this cottage. The pictures don’t do it justice. The attention to detail including a touch of the holidays was more than I expected. The bedroom and bath are larger than they appear online and the kitchen was very efficient. I’d like to stay again when the weather is a bit warmer to enjoy the outdoor space.

All went according to expectations. Only issue was functioning of heating element for stovetop needs, and would have enjoyed an oven. We loved the location, cozy feeling, and appreciated the Christmas touches. Thanks again

A Charming Cottage in a Charming Town
We just spent a wonderful week in this Jacksonville cottage and were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The owners and manager were very responsive and had thought of every detail and convenience. The cottage was roomy, comfortable, clean and so cute. We made use of the induction cooktop, Keuring coffeemaker, and onsite laundry. We loved the shower and the door separating the two rooms, which allowed us to work remotely during the week. The location is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go in Jacksonville and we felt very safe. I would happily return here and recommend it highly.

Noise concern.
It was nosy all day ,when a car passes on three manholes at the intersection on 5th St. and E St. Suggest to report to Jacksonville City.

Charming Jacksonville Cottage
I thoroughly enjoyed my extended stay at this charmingly rustic and very comfortable little cottage!
This unit is located right in the center of Jacksonville. It only took a couple of minutes to walk to the heart of this historical city with the awesome restaurants, coffee shops, fantastic wine tasting rooms and retail shops on E. California Street. It only takes just a few minutes to walk to the Britt Festival grounds as well.
Deanna was extremely professional, amiable and an absolute pleasure to work with. The owners were graciously hospitable, respectful and considerate. Without hesitation I give this VRBO member my highest recommendation!

Jacksonville Weekend
This place is perfect for a stay in Jacksonville. Right in the heart of Jacksonville, it is very convenient to all places Southern Oregon. The place was perfect in size for us, very clean and well stocked with what you need for your stay. A grocery store is steps away with many restaurants a very short walk away as well. The back area is perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather. There is even a Gazebo if it is raining. Highly, highly recommended!!

Jacksonville Trip for Phil
The property was very cute with many wonderful touches including a bottle of local wine and various snacks which were so appreciated! Clean, neat, comfortable and in a great location so you can walk anywhere in town; it was so nice to let our car just sit. Our only issue was at check in and we believe VRBO is partly to blame for this but it may have been a glitch in the system. We are VRBO property hosts ourselves so we do understand how this all works. We had to message the property manager for the right address and we did not have her number in our information sent from VRBO. When 4:00 check in rolled around, the code we were given to get in did not work. We again messaged the property manager and had no response. My husband eventually called VRBO who were rather difficult to get help from immediately. They finally called the property manager and put her in contact with us. It took 3 code tries to get in. Not sure what happened here during our check in but hopefully that explains the lower ratings in some areas because this little place was quite lovely and I would recommend it.

Great place to stay in Jacksonville
We enjoyed this cottage so much (and Jacksonville) that we extended our stay a day. The cottage was so peaceful, a very enjoyable back yard, walking distance to everything including Britt for the concerts. The manager was excellent and the owner came out on a Sunday evening in the rain just to reset the wifi router! We were completely pleased and satisfied with the entire experience.

Fun place at a great location!!
We had an amazing time at this property. We had our 2 year old and 6 week old infant with us. It's a great location next to a grocery store and walking distance to down town Jacksonville.

Nice but a bit warm.
Very nice accommodations, nicely decorated. Very well equipped and spacious. Great location.
My only complain was that there was no air conditioning. Which should have been disclosed. Temperatures during my stay were in the mid 80 and during the afternoons the cottage was a bit warm. During the evenings and nights the temperatures were very comfortable but only when we had the windows open but the traffic noise was more than I would have preferred. Especially during the early morning hours.
I travel to Jacksonville every few months and I would certainly consider staying there again however not during the summer months.
