About this cabin rental

Breathe ... It's time to take that long awaited vacation in the North Carolina mountains. Mountain Song Cabin is the perfect rustic retreat from the busy world. It is located in a quiet, private neighborhood just 8 minutes from downtown Boone, NC, a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive university town. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy getting back to this peaceful retreat for a soak in the hot tub after a long day on the trail. Everyone is welcome.

Grab a glass of your favorite beverage and sit on the porch or sit in the hot tub and watch the breathtaking sunsets and the indigenous wildlife feeding on the apple, pear, and cherry trees or even the wild blackberry bushes.

Unplug and enjoy the fresh mountain while you soak away your cares in the spectacular hot tub. Have a fire; roast some marshmallows and enjoy s'mores at the large fire-pit! Enjoy your downtime listening to the spring peepers, crickets and chirping frogs. Chase lightning bugs like you did when you were a kid. Appreciate nature right here in your own backyard! My wife and I plus our two dogs (small/medium sized) visited the area as we wanted to see more of the countryside surrounding Boone plus we have friends visiting later this year and we wanted to see what we could do to show them around. The cabin is up a hill on a private road and while there are neighbours it is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is well appointed and has everything you would need for a stay plus it has a great balcony for viewing the mountains and a hot tub. Not sure when it was built but it has certainly been modernized and well looked after. All in all a great option.

The view from the porch was one of the most amazing we’ve had! The peaceful surroundings and the wildlife was gorgeous. The house had everything we needed and some fine touches you usually don’t see. Would 100% stay again.
