We had a very peaceful and relaxing week on Whidbey. The home is quite welcoming and spacious. All the key creature comforts are accounted for here. Convenient to both the ferry and Langley, the location is ideal and, weather permitting, capable of delivering the most spectacular sunsets.

Very easy to get to once you arrive on the ferry to Clinton. The home is big and beautiful with a great lot overlooking the sunsets and Useless Bay. Large spaces and lots of comfortable furniture are a bonus, and the kitchen is excellent.
The hot tub is working and the gas fire pit makes sitting outside enjoying the view a real pleasure. We plan to return!

Many wonderful homes on Whidbey deserve consideration but this remains our favorite for the fifth time. The home is clean and welcoming and the area is very quiet. The kitchen is upscale and modern, and the hot tub is always a treat after a day of hiking. A spacious bedroom with ample closet space is ideal for anyone staying here.
We look forward to hopefully staying for our sixth time next year.

Overall our experience was not the best. There are positive features of the home, like the media room, parlor bathroom, giant kitchen and overall size of the house; but too many negatives, mainly: 1) Cleanliness. The house was very dirty. Empty shampoo bottles and soap left in master shower, open baggies of food in cabinets, and dust, dust, dust. In fact, it was so dusty we went right out to purchase Claritin (to suppress my dust allergy). 2) The blinds (in key places like living room and kitchen) are broken and some were covered in a thick layer of dirt and dust. 3) The laundry room stank of mildew as did all the towels - mostly prominent when wet. We washed several but it didn’t make a difference. 4) Noise from a very well travelled road (this was most upsetting since I asked about this and was told, “the house is located on 5 acres.” That may be true but the house faces a noisy road.). I would not recommend this rental.

This is our fourth stay at the home, and each time we leave eager to come back again. The home is immaculate and super-comfortable. The property is quiet and spacious. The hot tub is a relaxing bonus each morning and evening. The communication with Emily and Elise was timely. We couldn't recommend this property and the owners more to anyone looking for rest and relaxation on Whidbey Island, and we greatly look forward to our next stay.

I’ve been trying to contact the owner regarding the final bill. I had informed her, a few weeks, before our arrival, that we would not be bringing our dogs with us. She said that she would credit our final bill, after we checked out. I have not heard from her or Vrbo, regarding this. This is our first Vrbo stay, so I really don’t know how to navigate their app and I don’t seem to be able to get answers re our bill.

Great home that’s perched on the hilltop over looking the Olympics and Useless Bay. The neighborhood is quiet and is in close proximity to ferry, Greenbank Farms and Fort Casey. The house is nicely equipped, spacious and comfortable. We look forward to our next stay here.

House was much larger than anticipated. Great kitchen for cooking and gathering. Great view of Useless Bay and the Olympic mountains when the clouds lift. It would be helpful to have directions on the lights and music system. We were unable to play music on the system. Otherwise house was well set up with plenty of towels and bedding, kitchen tools and cooking supplies. We would definitely return and would like to come back when it’s warmer to take advantage of the outdoor seating and view.

This was our third stay in the last year at this home, and we continue to return for a reason. It meets and exceeds everything we want in a vacation home. Spacious setting. Comfortable furniture. Updated kitchen. Relaxing hot tub. Wonderful view on a rolling hill. We highly recommend anyone visiting Whidbey to choose this home, and we hope to return again in a few months.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We brought our 2 Australian Shepherd Puppies and my mother in law. The dogs had an awesome time playing Frisbee and Chuck-it ball every day. The property is centrally located so you can explore all the Island has to offer. everyday we went out with the pups hiking. What a beautiful home. The sunsets were breathtaking. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We had a fabulous trip to this great house on Whidbey Island. It is a wonderful house with an open floor plan. There were a couple of things that need to be fixed but it did not cause a problem. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the open living area and incredible patio with the amazing view of Useless Bay. We would definitely rent this home again.

My husband and I were looking for a close place for an anniversary weekend away from the noisy urban normal life. this house was perfect! We enjoyed the quiet, the view of Double Bluff beach, some great sunsets and the house was set up very nicely for wheelchair access. We loved sitting out on the deck various times of the day. It was easy to go take a tour of the island and still come back in the evening. We would stay here again. The owner was easily contacted if any issues and the house was well stocked. Thank you!

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and Elise is just the sweetest person. She is easy to get a hold of if you ever need anything. We had a few hiccups, but overall, we loved our stay. The property is well-maintained, the hot tub was soooo amazing (even our 6-year old loved it), and we got to see cows and deer during our stay. Clinton is a beautiful place, we went to the beach during low tide and oh my gosh the clams! You could see the bubbling holes all over the place! My son collected some seashells and we all had a great time relaxing. The morning we departed, we went to the Clinton Island Bagel Factory before getting on the ferry and oh.... my... gosssssh, the bagels! Total deliciousness and we're going to hop the ferry again one weekend just get more. Clinton is a beautiful place and this home is like a home away from home. Definitely stay, totally worth it.

Overall, this was a very nice place to stay. We had a few minor issues, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our trip. The house was very roomy and had a beautiful layout and the view was great! The owners were very easy to communicate with. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

The house is spacious and the property is beautiful: a hillside dotted with cows in the back and gorgeous views of meadows leading down to Useless Bay, Double Bluff Beach and the Olympic mountains from the expansive patio. Perfect for sunrise and sunset.

We had a group of 5 ladies looking for a relaxing getaway and this was the place. A very spacious home with everything we needed. Large rooms & plenty of room for dining, relaxing & watching the beautiful ocean & mountain view’s. Very private. Just what we needed!

This is our second time at this home, and it's now among our favorite getaway spots. The home is super clean, very private, very relaxing. Conveniences such as the hot tub and the movie room enhance the experience. The home is clearly cared for. It is private on all sides, very quiet, with a great view of the surrounding hills and water. And such a convenient getaway--we live in Seattle, and even including ferry it's less than 90 minutes, but a complete mindset shift. We look forward to returning and would recommend this to anyone for a few days on Whidbey Island.
