After following the extra advice on how to find Ardno House we arrived and had a warm welcome even though it was late on in the day. We was shown our room which was prepared with homemade biscuits and an assortment of drinks… even fresh milk in the fridge. The view from the bedroom was outstanding and using the supplied binoculars you could see vast and beautiful scenery. Breakfast was amazing with the variety and cleanliness! Overall they couldn’t of been anymore helpful than what we asked for. Very knowledgeable about local walks, things to do, and places to visit.
No complaints from here and would 100% recommend!
If we ever wish to come to Scotland again we’ll definitely have to stay at Ardno Hpuse again!

To begin, the location and setting are spectacular. Our room, which was well appointed and spacious, as well as the upstairs sitting area both had panoramic views of the loch across the road. We were within 1-2 miles of at least two very good restaurants and only a 15 minute drive to the extraordinary Glen itself, with all its scenic spots to pull over and so many possible walking/hiking trails. Morag and Robert couldn't be more welcoming and have such a sense of detail when it comes to what guests might need or enjoy, from homemade cookies provided in our room every afternoon, to binoculars on the window sill, to a fan across from the bed, etc, etc. These are but a few of the countless small touches that made our stay a pleasure. Breakfast was bounteous and yummy, with gorgeous fresh fruit and hot entrees made to order. On top of how lovely the physical surroundings and accomodations were, our hosts really cared about our experience in Glencoe - and they were a fount of information about excursions beyond the area.
Nothing at all....our 2 night stay at Ardno will have been one of the highlights of our 16 nights in Scotland!

The room was fantastic. Large with desk, seating and lots of closet/storage. The bath was clean and had a tub and shower. The view was to die for. The inn is situated beautifully with easy access to several walk path options. It overlooks the Loch. Reasonable drive for dinner options. Breakfast was splendid with several options served charmingly and cooked by a true chef. Parking on premise
Our hosts and our stay was lovely and memorable

Breakfast was excellent. The views from the property were spectacular! There was a walking trail behind the house that also had wonderful views, and a bike trail across the road that ran next to the loch. We saw seals on our walk. The house was super clean and well-maintained. Robert and Morag were gracious hosts. Our stay at Ardno House was lovely.
We loved everything.

Robert and Morag were wonderful hosts with breakfasts made to order and a dinner cooked for us that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I could not say enough about the hospitality offered by this wonderful couple, the beautiful location, and the House itself. Comfortable, welcoming and generous - I took my first bath in years in the deep tub in our bathroom! We explored the Highlands from this location as a part of a 10 day vacation to Scotland. Every recommendation Morag made was spot on. We would return again.

We had a super stay at Ardno House, Robert and Morag are wonderful hosts, so welcoming and attentive. They offered us lots of advice on what to do in the local area and the best places to head to in the changeable weather conditions. We even spotted an otter from our bedroom window within half an hour of arriving, can't ask for more than that!
We couldn't fault our stay at Ardno House, the only thing we didn't like was that we had to pack up and go home!
