Walk to gondola! Our condo (1bd/1ba + Loft bd (**steep, narrow stairs with handrail to loft**): 1 king & 1 queen bed) at The West is near the gondola with a fabulous view of Emerald Mountain and the Yampa Valley, plus a glimpse of Mt. Werner. This is a unique southwest facing one bedroom unit with a loft and windows on three sides welcoming sunlight throughout the day. Walk from your car or shuttle into our condo and access the main bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen without climbing a single stair. As for the loft, with the queen bed, there is a staircase (**narrow, steep loft stairs with handrail, pictured**) up to a semi-open loft bedroom. Countertop height table with 4 chairs, plus 2 stools at the bar. High vaulted ceiling boasts spectacular views.
Fresh remodel and new high-end furniture from Woodley’s and Arhaus. Beautiful Lethbridge pine tile in entry and kitchen, plush carpet and water chestnut paint. Handcrafted rustic cherry king size bedroom set and leather living room furniture. Plenty of space for you and your belongings in this roomy condo including three large closets, two large dressers, pantry and full kitchen.
On a cool day, you can snuggle into the couch or two recliners near the fireplace and enjoy the wonderful view or in the warmth, slip out to the patio and take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the skyline and beautiful sunset. For outdoor lounging, two Adirondack chairs, two Adirondack rocking chairs and two side tables. As a bonus, the main bedroom has a fireplace this combined with the room darkening shade and curtains make this my all time favorite bedroom.
Both of the large outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor pool have magnificent views of Mt. Werner and the ski lifts. At the pool you will also find picnic tables and two gas grills with the same stellar view.
Four small buildings and a clubhouse/pool area on a private circle give a quaint feel to this condo complex compared to much larger buildings nearby. Unlike a few other condos in the complex with efficiency kitchens, as a bonus we have a full size kitchen, including a Bosch dishwasher.
Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we're sure you'll feel right at home. Robes, fluffy towels, 18 pillows, lots of hangers, nice sheets and room darkening shades in the main bedroom. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot, including Wusthof knives, All-Clad 13-Piece Cookware Set, Blendtech blender, and a Bosch dishwasher for cleaning up. As one of our guests said, a chef’s kitchen! We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items. We like our toys, inside the condo you can hang 6 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards. River tubes and pumps may be available in entry closet, please inquire.
5 minute walk to the gondola. Free public buses located near the gondola can whisk you away to the small downtown streets of Steamboat. In addition to the gondola, a few bars, restaurants and live entertainment are a short five minute walk from the condo.
The balloon rodeo and 4th of July fireworks can be easily viewed from our deck (evening balloon glow steps away at the base of the resort). Winter, Friday night fireworks can be seen from our parking area and partial view from front window. Night skiing lights are fun to see out our front window too.
**Two annual concerts at the Knoll parking lot next door, which will be heard from our condo. 1) Texas Music Fest 6-days (typically starts the weekend after New Years). 2) WinterWonderGrass 3-day bluegrass festival (typically the last weekend in February). Inquire for exact dates to avoid or attend.**
There are two coin-operated washers and two dryers in our small building. You’ll find pictures of the laundry room in our listing.

A great location in a very clean and well-appointed condo within walking distance to the gondola. The community pool, hot tub and grills all have a nice view of the mountain. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was as marketed. Well equipt and very convenient to the mountain. At first we were not sure about the walk to the gondola but it was super easy even with our ski's. You can of course store your equipment at the base if desired.
We will be staying there agian for sure.

We stayed for two weeks in January. The location is excellent for access to the mountain. The hosts do a great job of communicating and respond quickly to messages. Very clean on arrival. The kitchen is remarkably well stocked with everything you might need for cooking, at least as far as we could tell. Highly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is outstanding within minutes walk to the ski village. It was late summer but it was still fun at the ski village. And we loved the unit. It had wonderful views. Sleeping was very good with nice cross breezes. And the owners were very responsive.

We loved every thing about the condo. Kitchen had anything and everything we needed for meals. Bedroom spacious and bed very comfortable. We used the air humidifier every night. Nice bathroom. Could have used shelving in the bathroom but we managed just fine. One thing I would like to see is better lighting in the living area. Lights were bright (above table and behind one chair). We would have liked table lighting that we could have controlled the ambiance. We have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The home was clean and well furnished. It is a nice home for probably a winter stay, but beware in the summer because there is no AC and it is uncomfortable with summertime temperatures. We had to move locations due to nighttime temperatures in the condo in the 80's. Also, the second bedroom is actually a loft with a very narrow ladder access so this would be hard for young kids or older adults to navigate.

This is an excellent condo! It is convenient to town and hiking trails in summer, comfortable, well furnished, clean. The shuttle to and from town is also convenient. The only issue that might arise for some visitors is there is only guaranteed parking for one car, and there is no convenient overnight parking anywhere nearby on the street or in parking lots. This may cause stress for some VRBO customers who are probably meeting children or friends coming separately with their own vehicles.

Our family of 4 absolutely enjoyed our 6 night stay here. The place is furnished with everything you need and more. Location is fantastic with easy walk everywhere. Excellent views as well. Quiet and calm area the entire time we were there made for great sleeping.
We have been to steamboat many times and We hope to stay here again for our next visit.

We had an incredible stay - by the end of the first night we were ready to move in permanently. The thing that really stands out about this property - other than it’s convenience to the resort and lifts - is the high quality of everything with which you’re provided. Everything from amazingly rich towels, to high-end German cutlery and an absolutely stocked pantry full of spices and cooking supplements. It was this attention to detail that made our stay so exceptional.

Definitely Recommend this one!
It was the best decision of your trip to stay at Tammy's place at The West. We were so happy we went with a larger home than a smaller hotel-style place. The condo was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. My wife and our 2 small children loved it. The kiddos slept upstairs in the loft room and there was plenty of room in the kitchen, dining area, and living room to spread out and relax. This was my first VRBO experience and it will definitely be hard to beat. Highly recommending this Condo!

Great condo close to the mountain.
Excellent place to stay. This condo has absolutely everything you need (and I mean absolutely everything) and nothing that you don’t. The owners really thought about every little thing, down to a foam roller for exercise and plush white robes that make you feel like you are staying in a nice hotel. Lovely decor and plenty of room for 3 of us. Very quiet too. The location is terrific- less than 5 min walk to the gondola. We didn’t rent a car and getting to town and back using free shuttle was very easy. We enjoyed our stay very much and if we are in Steamboat again, I would definitely stay in this unit.

Steamboat Good Condo
Booked early, unfortunately no new snow for the month before we got there. Place was nice easy access to mountain and bus system to Town. Leaving the airline delayed our flight, then at airport more delays, had to rebook onto a different flight and got home the next day, the condo was much nicer than trying to sleep on the plane or at the airport. I forgot to mention it started to snow after we left. One thing I would say the description of items was honest, when they say the stairs are steep to the loft, they are, but fine for my daughter. Close location to the mountain allowed me to take my 12 year old back to condo when she decided she didn't want to ski anymore.

We had a great stay here. The West Condominiums are in a great location! This condo has an amazing porch to relax on and watch the beautiful sunsets. It is warm, comfortable, great decor, very clean and has all the amenities needed! We are locals in Steamboat and stayed here during part of our remodel. Perfect getaway
Our family was remarkably impressed with this condo. It had all the amenities of home. The renter had supplied everything from cooking essentials to toiletries. The location was perfect.
