The house is the perfect size for two or three couples or a family. It sleeps 6 people.

The Tolman House is superbly located as a base for exploring Anderson Valley and the Mendocino Coast. It is within 300 ft. of 2 wine tasting rooms and Pennyroyal goat cheese farm/tasting and 1/2 mile from dining, shopping, and a microbrewery. In 15 minutes you can be hiking among the redwoods in Hendy Woods State Park. Drive 30 minutes to the Navarro beach or 50 minutes to the picturesque village of Mendocino. Good central location, air conditioning was necessary due to the hot weather. Walking distance to a couple of wineries.

The house was charming, very comfortable and cool in the high heat. It had everything we needed for cooking and eating. We also enjoyed the Four Sight Winery and we hope to return in the coming months! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was our second time staying at Nancy’s place. It is a lovely farmhouse with vintage kitchen, bordering a sheep pasture and Foursight Winery’s vines. We love it for the easy walk to town and tasting rooms, and our dog Luna loved it for the large fenced meadow and excitement of seeing sheep. Nancy is super respectful of privacy, but when we needed help with the barbecue they were there within five minutes to help. Note that does sit on Highway 128–like most of Boonville—so you will hear some traffic noise. Otherwise, a quiet, magical place to relax.

Had an amazing time staying in this cute vintage farmhouse. Clean and quiet and great location next to some amazing wineries and downtown area. Hosts were amazing and accommodating. Woke up to see the sheep having their morning breakfast. Highly recommend!
