This is a beautiful retreat with panoramic ocean views. The views are absolutely spectacular! Views of the coastline forever. There is also a view of the Point Arena lighthouse.

We stayed at Morgan House thirty-five years ago when everything was shiny and new. This house is still comfortable and has views to die for. Next time, I will remember to bring bath soap.

I have stayed at Morgan House before and really enjoyed it, so decided to book again. Really like the peacefulness of Irish Beach and the house provides everything one might need to have an enjoyable and memorable vacation. Hot tub worked perfectly and all appliances were in good working order. Would love to return!

Our family of 6 and fur baby, throughly enjoyed our stay. We come to Irish beach every summer, this was our first time at this property - and intend to book here in the coming years. We came for the ocean, and this home does not disappoint- the views are incredible! The hot tub was a wonderful way to end our day. We ended up only using one of the two bedrooms as the kids preferred to sleep in the living room with the views. Thankfully we always travel with our own blankets and sheets so they were very comfortable there. The host was great, quickly responded to our questions .. it was a wonderful visit. Thank you for sharing your home with us !

The location is great if you like private and remote. You have to drive a little far to get to the nice restaurants. The picture windows were great, really enjoyed the panoramic views. Not all the windows had blinds and the sun was a little intense at times. Because of the proximity to restaurants the owners should consider a better grille. Don’t mean to be so critical and think this place has a lot of potential. I am grateful that we were able to stay there and would return.

Wonderful location on the cliffs with spectacular ocean view. Loved the place. Only issue was the tv didn’t seem to work when we went to watch a movie at night. But who cares with this kind of you definitely coming back

Upon arrival it was noted that everything needs to be redone. No screens on windows and screen doors torn. Stains on carpets, sticky dishes, mold in shower and in exhaust fan. Only one shower is usable. Couch and chairs horribly uncomfortable. Worst was the stain on the comforter in the primary. Communication with the owner was poor at best from pre arrival to 24 hours after arrival. The housekeeper brought clean blankets on day two but then bad mouthed the owner and said horrible things about them and the property. I contacted the owner via message on the app. Then called VRBO. I was connected with the owner who was not sympathetic however was receptive to the feedback. This was supposed to be a relaxing rejuvenating trip for my daughters and myself for my birthday. Instead it was stressful. We checked out the next morning and was promised a refund but only verbally. No written confirmation from the owner or VRBO regarding this. I don’t complain about things ever so found this entire interaction stressful. The owner was curtly polite but in the end asked me to put a good review which I told her I could not do as it would not be the truth. I hope they find a new property manager and do some upgrades or lower this price significantly for the future. I have learned a lesson which is, never use VRBO again. Best part of the whole trip was finding The Heritage House in Little River which overall ended up being less expensive and the lap of luxury.

We loved this house, and it is hard not to give it a 5/5. The view is everything that you would expect from pictures. The view dominates the house, it's amazing. Enjoying the hot tub while watching the sunset was a favorite for sure. The house has comfy beds, couch but it just needs a deep clean and some new screens. A few minor updates would be great.

Delightedly walked into an incredible view over the ocean cliffs. Spectacular views with full windows across the whole house on the ocean side. Spectacular sunsets and captivating by the storms blowing in from the distant ocean! Easy to use fireplace and hot tub enjoyed by our family. Highly recommend.

1. Location and views are excellent. 2. Actually it is not ready to have any guest if you like to have a hotel business. 3. I mean the entire house is too old and many things need to repair/replace immediately.

Spectacular location, and despite the remoteness of the property, a full service grocery store only 10 mins away in Manchester. This location in Irish Beach, is convenient to go exploring the towns and sites up and down the CA coast.

A comfortable older house with reminders of good times at past Irish Beach visits (been visiting the area since the 1970s). clean windows for the fantastic ocean view, Comfortable bed & furniture & well-equipped kitchen with mix of old & new appliances. An issue with clothes washer - got fixed in a few days. Definitely would stay again. ( but house is for sale by International Realty so probably will be refurbished & priced out of our range.)

A family member suggested we go to Irish Beach for vacation so glad we did. The view of the ocean was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves so much that hopefully we can go back!

We had a great stay at the Morgan House! It does need some fixing up, but it's so cozy and the views are to die for! The owner Sandy is such a lovely person! It's definitely a great place to stay, it is for sale sadly. We will stay again for sure if it's still available in the future.

We’ve stayed here several times, and other rentals in Irish beach. But we always come back to the Morgan House. Saw that it is for sale now. Just hope if it does change hands, the new owners will continue with the rental program.

This is our second time staying at this property. This house had everything we needed for a long weekend away from home. The views are great and we also appreciate the short walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and will likely be back next year.

The house and view was good but the night we arrived a Hurricane came with 80 to100 mile winds and massive rain. The power went the next morning. With no power and heat [we had water] we were forced to huddle in front of the fireplace. Powerlines and trees blocked the roads out of there. We booked 6 nights but after 4 nights we were able to leave. the refunded 4 days to us. If we had power during our stay it would have been good. Steve and Carol

Beautiful location on the water, hot tub and fireplace were amazing! Property needs some TLC, shower master bathroom interesting set up didn’t care too much for that. Central heating was nice but unfortunately dog hair all over the place all over our clothes. Whoever last stayed and had a dog there is posting in the kitchen saying to keep pets off furniture but I would imagine hard to do. Maybe stay next time if there’s some upgrades to the home. Going out to the deck screen door completely ripped up and slider very hard to open and close small things like that and hopefully the owner Would notice these things anyway beautiful spot we enjoyed it except for dog hair all over her clothes!

Dated but comfortable. Need to replace all linens/ towels with new, white is a good idea for ability to bleach with each laundering. Towels smelled very bad, musty or moldy like they were left in the washer for too long before drying. Luckily I brought my own due to my sensitivity to perfumed detergents. Beds squeak so bad its comical, not an issue for us. Written information sheets need to be updated and consolidated. It is confusing and not accurate, add information about the fireplace. We never found a beach sign or the house Preva to make the walk to the beach. The beach is accessible by vehicle on a one way road and saves you a very steep walk back up. Many restaurant suggestions were no longer in business. This location is amazing despite some minor disadvantages. You can't beat those sunsets and being able to bring our beloved dogs. They also loved it.

Loved our stay as always, I do hope they consider updating the beds though, they are pretty worn out with little support, we woke up pretty sore every morning. Vicki is very responsive, there was very little wood left when we arrived, with one call wood was delivered the very next morning. Overall, a wonderful house and a great value by todays standards. We will be back again and again I have no doubt.

I rented this property for a last minute birthday excursion for my mom’s birthday. The view is unbeatable and the open family/dining/kitchen area was wonderful. Our dogs had a fantastic time and the location was perfect for day trips to explore. We will definitely be return renters! ❤️

I was a little hesitant about this house after reading the reviews but was relieved when we got there and found the house was suitable for our vacation needs. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue. No bugs or pet hair. No unpleasant smells. The views are amazing, the hot tub is great, the window seating was a favorite place for our whole group. The kitchen had everything we needed, house is well stocked. This is by no means a luxury home, nor does it advertise that, and accommodations are reflected in the price, fairly I might add. If I could make any recommendations to the owners- update the beds and bedding, and install a mounted shower head in the master bathroom so there are two functional showers. Other than that, we would stay again!

This VRBO is a great home base in an area chock-full of fun things to do. We especially enjoyed the deck and hot tub for winding down after our long days of kayaking, hiking, rail-biking, and beachcombing. The house fixtures and furniture have seen better days, but if that's your priority in a vacation rental then this home probably won't hit your search results anyway. This house is great for people looking for a laid-back place with an awesome view in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The owners are quick to communicate with very clear directions on all things important! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful view of the ocean, but the outdoor furniture consists of just a few plastic chairs in bad shape. No lounge chairs or table to eat outside. All the screen doors were torn, and when it rained one day, the ceiling in the hall bathroom leaked. It was overall very clean but run down. Internet and TV worked fine. One thing that surprised us is how hot the rooms got due to the fact the windows would not open and the blinds were old and hard to open and close to block out the afternoon sun. Some Vrbo rentals provide something for the guests like a bottle of wine as a welcome—nothing like that here. Basic kitchen stuff only. With attention and updating it could be a great place to stay.

We arrived and getting in was easy, but the house wasn’t clean at all. The windows were dirty, there was some kind of insect inside the kitchen sink , on kitchen counter and dining table, window drapers had thick layer of dust and when you drop them you could see dusts falling down, kitchen cabinets same dust all over them which took my wife couple of hours to clean them, too many notes on rules and they ask you to wash the towels and bed sheets although they charge a cleaning fee. Bathrooms are too old and one of them which there are no pictures of it on the site had mold on the walls and the sink was rusty.

The property undoubtedly has unimaginable views of the ocean. We spent hours enjoying the site and looked forward to the sunset during our time in the VRBO. The house is well furnished and we had everything in the we could possibly need. The only thing about the house that left me wishing was cleanliness. We found pet hair in the most unexpected places - clean towels, bath tub, seating areas and and even ladles.
