We had a great stay. The home is in a great, walkable location with beautiful views.

My family of four stayed here for two nights after our Alaska cruise. It was a great base to relax some and explore Anchorage before heading home.

We all loved this house. It’s an old house but well maintained with all the modern conveniences. Quirky little things throughout the house….an opening in one bedroom overlooking the beautiful spiral staircase, tissue and toothbrush holders installed in the wall in one bathroom. Very neat fireplace in the living room and a wood-burning fireplace in the downstairs bedroom (although we didn’t use it). The host was very accommodating when we asked if we could drop our bags prior to check in so we didn’t have to lug them around. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful house in great location. House itself is older but has been extensively renovated with a new kitchen and three new bathrooms. Bright and vibrant decor, nice view of the inlet. Very close to coastal trail and many other area attractions. Highly recommend!

We loved this house, it was roomy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is amazing--it's downtown with a view of the water, near a park, walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay here!

It was fine no problems

We had an awesome time at this wonderful place. We took the coastal trail on rental e-bikes and saw a bear with 3 cubs, and a moose with a baby. We also enjoyed shopping and eating at many of the walkable places. You can't get a better location and the home was very nice and well equipped.

Nice location near Coastal Trail & downtown. Home is spacious & well stocked.

This property was walkable to restaurants, activities, and attractions. We just had coffee at the house and that was fully stocked.
The property could use a few more bath towels and washcloths. The bathtub "shower" in the primary was dangerous, nothing to hold on to, plus the soap and shampoo was not accessible through the shower curtain. My husband and I were staying in that particular room and I had to use the other shower.

Fit our family of 5 perfectly. It was great to walk down to the trail or into downtown.

Property managers were great, the fireplace did not work, the location and property were great. We were pretty disappointed about the fireplace.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and we all loved this house! The location to downtown was perfect- everything is within walking distance. The house itself was clean and reminded us of 1950s vintage, with all the modern amenities. The view is awesome from the living room window and in warmer weather sitting on the deck would be amazing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

I traveled with two adult family members just before Christmas. The home was perfect for us. Great location, walking distance to the Coastal Trail and downtown eateries. The home was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed to prepare a meal. Beautiful view from the living room and dining room. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, house is bigger than we expected. Plenty of room for all to have privacy.
Will definitely stay here again!

A clean and quirky house with wonderful amenities and lots of space, perfectly located for downtown activities, but private and quiet. Absolutely lovely.

Amazing views and great location close to downtown, ship creek, and the coastal trail. Very functional kitchen, comfy beds, nice hangout space - perfect for our family’s stay in anchorage.

We needed two nights prior to taking the train to Seward to catch our cruise. The location was perfect. Near the Tony Knowles trail which we walked and biked. There were a couple of bike rental places near the house and several good places to eat, all within walking distance. The house was clean and all five of us were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Anchorage. Thanks for a great place to stay!!

We had a wonderful stay in the house! Everything was very clean and convenient. The kitchen has all supplied we needed.

Everything went really well with this stay. Easy to find and access. So very convenient for all the things we planned to do downtown, from going to a musical show at the PAC, to going out to dinner together, everything was walkable. Also we had a great walk down the coastal trail to get the day started. The home is larger than it looks in pictures, and very comfortable and original. The view is amazing! and it is a very quiet neighborhood. Highly Recommend.

We (my children and grandchildren)had a great time. The place was very unique and fun, right in downtown Anchorage. Had a fenced in yard and a great view of the Inlet. Hoping do stay there again next year.

We loved the access to the coastal trail, the large picture window to watch airplanes, sunrises, and sunsets, and the bold decorum. The house was well appointed. Made our stay cozy and enjoyable.

We met our daughter, who teaches in St. Marys, Alaska, in Anchorage for Christmas break. This was the perfect landing spot. All of the rooms were great and the kitchen was equipped with enough for us to do some cooking. We were able to walk to lots of restaurants and go for hikes on the Coastal Trail. We did rent a car which proved helpful for getting to regular grocery stores to purchase cooking supplies. We also used a few delivery services which went super smooth even in all of the snow. We would rent this house again in an instant. Great location and super responsive property manager. We had an issue with getting the fireplace to turn on and he spent time on Christmas Eve helping us over the phone...it ended up that the remote needed new batteries. It was a very relaxing Christmas spent with those most important in a perfect location.

Close to lots of dining options and walking trails. Great view and a great house.....the only problem was check in. You have to go to the BACK of the house. I had emailed the manager weeks before we were supposed to check in and got no reply. Thankfully, there was an emergency contact person on the reservation and she answered.

Nice place
House is comfortable - nice views. No AC but my understanding is that this is an unusual warm season. 3rd bedroom, with the king bed, is located in the basement area - a little creepy but it worked. Close enough to walk to some of the downtown area.

Great place to stay. Perfect location!
Walking distance to everything. Beautiful view of sunset. Perfect for our family with lots of space.

Location, location, location!
Great place, great location, easy access to everything in Anchorage.
The details on this property could be better, there is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs, 1 bedroom and bath downstairs. House sits behind tall fence for privacy but harder to see. They did a wonderful job with the remodel. The pictures don't do justice to the house.
Some of the fans didn't work, and the guest room TV didn't work. The TV in the living area has large areas that are going out with black spots but still usable.
Overall great place!

Wonderful property excellently situated
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is beautiful and really cozy inside! We loved that it was so close to everything and the sunsets were unbelievable from here! We also loved that ample towels were provided. We were 6 people staying here and the only criticism is a lack of crockery and cutlery for the amount of people. We will definitely stay here again!
