Warm apartment, conveniently located for QEU hospital
Warm during a cold spell. Good shower, spacious. Proximity to hospital, ease of parking & felt secure.
Lack of a toaster, carpet in bedroom was a potential trip hazard.Doors merit attention so that they might fit or close better.

Okay
It was qiuet and a very short walk away from the QEU Hospital.
If you write a review you risk being told you are petty and told to grow up. You also risk being told your revue is untrue. This is not a very nice experience and be warned that he landlord will almost certainly be critical of any feedback he perceives as negative rather than respond positively and show that something is being done about the problem you encountered. I was told that nobody uses the garden in the winter which implies he is happy to leave it as I found it. I encountered dirty rags, cigarette butts and broken glass when searching for the outside bins. I was also told I left my bin bags in the kitchen which is true as during my stay I took them to the recycling centre but was not able to do this when I left. So I left 3 bags in the kitchen: one with general rubbish, one recycling and one glass. The owner leaves no bins or instructions for recycling. There is a Duty of Care for waste so can the owner please acknowledge his responsibility and provide bins for recycling. I hoovered the flat regularly during my stay but unfortunately on the last day the battery operated hoover ran out of power and dispersed some of its contents over the floor. There was no broom for sweeping this up. I did use a dustpan and brush to clear the worst. Please can the owner leave a broom in the flat. When I first used the hoover I had to charge it and empty the full bag of other people’s rubbish

Close to the hospital but overpriced and not looked after.
The owner replied to my first revue saying my comments were untrue. This review lays down the facts that are absolutely true and I would like to see corrected for future tenants. The flats main selling point is that it is close to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. My wife spent a month there seriously ill and I was able to walk to see her within 10 minutes. I found the flat suitable for isolating and not mixing with anyone. The flat is basic and the heating and washing machine work. There is good parking.
The flat was not cleaned properly. I had asked specifically for this to be done as I spoke to a previous tenant who said the grill was dirty and still had bacon on it. On arrival the microwave contained old food had not been cleaned. The smell of this remained throughout my stay. The kitchen rubbish bin was dirty and full. Kitchen cupboard was dirty and had a bag of sugar welded to the shelf. The dish cloths were dirty. The hoover was full and had not been emptied Kitchen generally: Cutlery is limited and the cutlery drawer was grubby until I cleaned it. There is a limited amount of crockery eg only one cereal dish. The hot water tap is sticky and difficult to turn Fridge was very grubby until I cleaned it and the freezer compartment has no door. It was full of overflowing with dirty ice and took considerable time for me to defrost and clean. I show a photo of the ice building up again after a few weeks. When I arrived the ice box was completely full and overflowing so must have built up over months. The main oven was dirty and produced smoke when first used and until I cleaned it. The grill shelves are broken. There are no recycling instructions or bins. There were only a couple of bin bags and one toilet roll. The dishwashing liquid was almost empty and no soap powder. Under the sink cupboard was an untidy mess with limited cleaning materials. General Décor: Some room doors don’t close properly due to multi layers of paint. Floors are grubby, and have slashes of dried paint and thick black tape is used as room dividers, Cleaning cupboard is messy and even had a dirty old sock lieng on the floor. Towels are old. Sheets are old and thin Tv remote didn’t work and no spare batteries were left. WiFi was not easy to access so I didnt bother Dining room table cheap and chipped. Toilet seat is wonky A hair dryer was broken. Garden: Rotting wooden pallets, broken glass and cigarette butts, Rotting fence and broken gate. Old cleaning rags littering the area.

Great property in a quiet area allowing you to relax and unwind and very reasonably priced.
The property is a lovely little apartment situated in a superb quiet area, so ideal to relax and unwind after a day on the road. Everything was clean, as described and delivered in terms of pricing too. Definitely a place I will save on my favourites and gladly stay again. and a massive bonus, was that lovely big deep bath in which I enjoyed a great hot bath.
Can't really say I didn't like anything. Worst case, and if one wanted to be really picky, would be different floorings in some of the rooms. But I did not expect a 5 star hotel in an exotic location. It is a great property and a place I will gladly stay again.
