The Heritage
Prívate. Plenty of space. Perfect.
This 10 year-old, red-brick, early-American style home is located in the heart of Pennsylvania. Surrounded by wooded trails, and offering plenty of space indoors and out, this place is a perfect paradise for any get-away or retreat.
Minutes from historic Williamsport, The Heritage boasts quick access to Millionaires row, downtown shopping, The International Little League Ballpark and Museum, and the stunning CAC (which often hosts mid-week Broadway shows for less).
There are plenty of the most beautiful biking and hiking trails (including the paved path along the Susquehanna River) to enjoy and lots of hunting and fishing available nearby.
If one wants to venture an hour or two from the home one finds World's End state park, Rickett's Glen, Eagle's Mere, Bald Eagle state park, Pine Creek, State College, Hershey, historic Harrisburg, Lancaster or "Amish Country", outlet shopping, skiing, and one of the world's best indoor water park in the Poconos.
If one wants to venture 3 hours, a day trip to NYC, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, or Palmyra, NY is very doable.
Features of the Home
The kitchen is warm and beautiful with granite countertops, custom-made cabinetry, and distressed walnut flooring. There is plenty of counter space for creating and serving food. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to host a large group or just be comfortable and cozy at home. There is a high chair and booster seat.
The bedrooms have cozy carpet. The bathrooms are spacious and clean also with tile flooring & granite countertops throughout the home. There is a main floor washer/dryer and an upstairs washer/dryer that are for your use during your stay.
The basement is unfinished except for the one finished bedroom and beautiful bath (with heated flooring!). It's equipped with rolling/riding toys and a stage for children but the best part of the basement is that it houses a full-size indoor slide! There’s a basketball hoop on the large, private driveway waiting for some good games!
The home itself welcomes cozy couples or large groups with an inviting bedroom and bath on the main floor, plenty of bedrooms to be filled beyond that, and large areas for groups to comfortably gather.
Beyond the main floor bedroom, which holds a queen-size bed and connects to a full bath, there is a bedroom downstairs, with a full-size bed and a gorgeous new bathroom with heated floors next to it. To get to this bedroom, one walks through the unfinished basement which has an indoor slide, toys, and other games available for your group’s enjoyment.
Going upstairs instead, there is a second family room with sectional and TV. There are 4 more bedrooms on this floor. Two of the bedrooms are of bright color, girlish design and share a Jack and Jill bathroom and each has a twin size bed with a pull out twin size bed beneath. There are desks in each of these rooms and nice-size closets. One of these bedrooms does not have window coverings because it looks out onto forest and is completely private. Another bedroom on this floor is masculine decor, holds a full-size bed, has a large desk, small couch, and is attached to a full-size bath featuring regular and child-sized sinks. There’s a 2nd laundry room on this floor. The largest room in the home is this upstairs master bed room with a king-size bed, desk, couch, and it’s own full-sized bath featuring a jetted garden tub with private views of the forest.
If one travels up the stairs from this floor (from the 2nd floor family room) to the “attic”, there is a large, open nursery/playroom with a full size bed and 2 twin size beds in it - each with a pull-out trundle bed (twin size) beneath. There are 2 very large bedrooms off this great room, one with a crib and each holding a full-size bed and a desk. All these upstairs beds share one large full bath in the attic, with a regular and child-size sink.
As mentioned previously, there is one room with a crib. There is also a happy camper and a high chair and booster seat available for use- all are stored in the main floor laundry room to be used as needed. A king size blow up bed is also available for additional guests.
Despite all it's inviting features, the very best of The Heritage may be the meandering stone patio, the delightful decks out back, and the beautiful windows that captivate visitors year-round with breathtaking, wooded views! Enjoy sunrise from the windows or deck! Take a morning walk on the historic logging trail that begins on the property, or take an evening stroll down the paved street in front of the property to enjoy a beautiful vista and watch sunset!
Private. Plenty of space. Perfect.
For an outdated, but beautiful, quality video tour google search: "the heritage tour ronin first flight". Patio has been finished since then.

The property is big enough to host 4 families. Convenient to grocery store and downtown.

All enjoyed our stay. Everything was wonderfully set up for a multi-generational family group. There was a variety of things to enjoy for all ages (games, books, playroom, play yard, picnic/ deck, fire pit and walking). Nearby areas offer hiking, boating, fishing, swimming and a walkable downtown with unique shops. We give this vacation home 5 STARS. M. Hayes

A good time with family for a family reunion.

This was our second year at the beautiful Hoffman house, and it was perfect for our annual family reunion. We love the huge well equipped kitchen because we cook all of our meals for our 20+ family. The home is beautiful and has plenty of space for us to gather as a family, but also sleeps everyone comfortably. The owner was extremely accommodating to our requests, and communications were seamless.

The space in this home exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect central location to meet up as a group of 14 to celebrate our parents' anniversary, Thanksgiving and Christmas all in 4 days! The indoor slide was a hit with the kids. The privacy of each of the rooms and bathrooms gave everyone an opportunity to retreat when needed and the living spaces were plenty big for sharing meals and doing our gift exchange. We had the opportunity to divide up for a few outings, including walks around the property, a visit to the Little League World Series Museum, and some local thrifting. It's clear that this home was built with gatherings in mind.

This continues to be a perfect space for a yearly reunion of college friends and our growing families. Bedrooms for each couple to have their own and a great space upstairs for the kids to have a sleepover. Great space and play area outdoors and in the basement where the kids can play without waking napping ones. Thanks for a great space to reconnect with great friends and share in the joy of growing families!

The property is large, comfortable, and well maintained. Plenty of rooms for adults and children with lots of bathrooms. Well-appointed kitchen and a serene, wooded lot. This was a perfect home base for visiting the Little League World Series.

This house was perfect for our family of 18 (9 kids and 9 adults). Plenty of space and beds. Host was very easy to work with for a few minor issues that arose.

This is a beautiful custom home and is a destination in and of itself. We booked the home for a a week and it was perfect for our extended family group of 14, including five kids ages 2-8. There was an incredible number of costumes and kids toys and plenty of space for everyone. Mike was extremely responsive and kinda whenever we needed to communicate with him.

House is bigger than pictures show...
It has 2 family rooms and a full walk out basement...5 families stayed the week and never felt crowded, there was plenty of room so everyone could have their space...2 outdoor decks, 2 outdoor patios..only issue I could find was a non-working intercom system.
I would rent it again.

My husband, two grown children, baby grandson and close family friends and their children and grandchildren all had a wonderful time at this house. Plenty to space for all, a beautiful secluded location and close to all that Williamsport has to offer. We will definitely book this house again!

We have stayed here several times and were pleased to see the updated beds on the 3rd floor! Our family made lots of memories and booked another trip to this home for 2023!
The host is excellent and communicated well with us about checking in/out and addressed any questions we had.
The rooms are accommodating but since wr stayed in the winter months, we found that the basement bedroom and the room with the cribs gets quite chilly. There was 1 space heater there that we used but recommend an extra one if youre able to bring one!
Thabks again for opening your home! It has been a blessing!

This house was a lovely place for our six families to spend a long weekend getting back in touch with each other. We had one infant and 9 kids ranging in age from 7 through 15, as well as twelve adults and everyone was more than comfortable. The backyard playground was especially a big hit, as it's easily viewable from inside the house so the adults stayed warm while the kids got to have "unsupervised" time. Communication with the host was always quick and pleasant, even when we had to report that we had accidental damage. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful home that truly exceeded our expectations: great spaces for our extended family to gather, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, amazing kitchen that accommodated cooking for our large family, tranquil setting, great communication with the owners. It is clear this home was built with love and was perfect for our multigenerational family aged 7 to 81. We hope to return!

This house is so much fun for everyone! The kids have so much space to play and there are so many other spaces for adults to enjoy games, conversation and eating. The grandkids beg us to buy this house every year!!

The house is beautiful with lovely architecture and a modern lay out. It was perfect for a family of 21 people. The open floor plan made for great gathering space, multiple bedrooms gave space for the married children and their family, the large kitchen with ample refrigerator space made our food preparation times special. The Hoffman's put up Christmas decorations for us in early November to accommodate our Christmas celebration which was an exceptional surprise. We gathered around in the main living room to sing Christmas carols and have our gift exchange (extra special with gifts under the tree). The second floor living room was used for the children's bed time stories, while the library area hosted the melodies of our children playing and singing with their instruments. The children were wonderfully entertained with the indoor slide, outdoor swing set and dress up clothes. Most of our grandchildren are girls so all the girly toys were enjoyed by them with dress up events and early morning sounds of play. A few minor glitches and maintenance items are reflected in our rating of the Hoffman Hotel.

Happy Home
The house is extremely large. Plenty of room for 24 sleeping in beds, and five babies in pack-n-plays. My nine children, their five spouses and 14 grandkids spread out between the basement and 3rd floor dormitory. Lots of activities in the local area: hiking at nearby parks, tubing in Lycoming Creek, swimming in Loyalsock Community Pool, disc golf at Indian Park in Montoursville, and launching rockets at Short Park. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within 15 minutes of the house. We are glad we picked this house and you will be too.

Plenty of Room
We are a large group (17). It’s hard to find houses with enough room for us. There was plenty of room for folks to gather or find a nook of their own. Only negatives are all the knives are dull. We ended up buying one. Also, the beds in the triple twin room were not great for adults but kids would be very comfortable.

We were very pleased.

Perfect College Friends' Reunion
This place was absolutely perfect for our group of 7 families including many young children. We are a group of college friends that get together every year and this house was perfect for each couple to have their own room/space and the kids all had a special large sleepover and play room. There was also a large partially finished basement where the kids could play for a change of scenery (not to mention the huge indoor slide!). Nice playground outback, outdoor seating was available (just wasn't warm enough for us when we went), and a fire pit down in the woods. Quiet secluded neighborhood. The owner was very responsive to all communication. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for Family Reunion
This was a fabulous location for our gathering of fifteen people spanning three generations (ages 13 to 80) from NY, NJ, IL, and VA. Host was very responsive to all of our questions before our trip, and everything was great during our stay. House had plenty of room for us (including a bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor, perfect for mobility-limited grandparents) and WiFi was strong enough for those that had to work part of the week. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/cutlery/dishes for us to cook and eat at home several nights. It was a particularly hot week, but A/C worked great even on top floor. Nice yard for lawn games (we brought bocce and more), and it has two lovely decks so those choosing to watch could see the action. Usually one or the other (or both) of the decks was in the shade, which was nice. (There is also a nice play set in the yard, but our group didn't use it.) We all highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home perfect for large gathering
We loved our stay here! The home was beautiful and had plenty of space to accommodate our large family. It was a lovely place to gather together with fun activities within driving. Michael was great to work with and quick to answer any questions. I would book this home again in a heartbeat!

Just perfect!
The Heritage is the perfect house for a family group. Our group of 23, ages 10 months to 66 years, were more than comfortable - plenty of space to spread out and beds for everyone. Beautiful wooded setting with lots to do on site, but only minutes from all the conveniences of town. Owners were so kind and responsive. Thank you for making our annual vacation just perfect!

Absolutely loved everything about this home and the kids play area with the slide I mean what more can you ask for in a home. Truly a home for huge family gathering with ample amount of space. What a beautiful home to make wonderful memories! Mike was very enterprising and understanding. Very responsive and took care of all our needs. From giving instructions to fireplace to kitchen updates he was very thorough and honest. We enjoyed our long weekend stay where kids had a blast sliding down to basement! We didn't feel the need to find places around to keep them busy! The rooms are spacious, some of them are themed which was a big highlight for my girls. The house has plenty of bathrooms so this accommodates large groups. There are two laundry rooms, one on each floor which was very helpful. Even though we had taken pre-cooked meals, the kitchen is fully equipped for your needs. The basement is full of toys and things to do to keep small people busy. The fireplace was warm & cozy. We had a FUN time at this house and plan to go back again soon. Thanks Mike & family for your wonderful hospitality!:)

Family Weekend
This property was expectional and spacious with a view of the wooded area that was so peaceful. We saw deer every day we were there. Our extended family met there for our annual weekend together. There was more than sufficient room for all 12 of us including 2 little ones under age 2. The swing set and sand box was a big hit for the children and the rope swing for the older ones. The location was perfect with hiking, the Sunset Ice cream shop nearby and a Wegman's for a quick shopping trip. Sadly the Little League Museum was closed due to COVID. Our disappointment was the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms. We would love to come again should the cleaning service be improved. Thanks for hosting our family and creating many memories.

Just what we needed!
During this time of Covid-19, my teaching colleagues and I needed a safe and clean place to celebrate our 6 friends who were retiring from teaching. Due to the recent pandemic, we had not been able to hold a typical retirement party for them. This house gave us the chance to have a girls weekend and celebrate them properly! We can’t thank Mike and the Hoffman’s enough for letting us stay in their beautiful home! Everything was perfect!

Family time
The house was beautiful and the outdoor space was great. The area is fantastic also. Not as many beds as we needed so I'm not sure if some were taken out. But it's slept comfortably about 16 people

Amazing vacation!
We had such a wonderful time at this house, the pictures don't do it justice! It is beautiful, clean and provides all the comforts we could ask for, and Mike was always available and happy to help with any question we had. We were three families, 15 people in all and everyone had a space of their own. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals. And the back yard allowed our kids to run around and enjoy themselves in nature. The house is a short distance away from amazing walking trails.
Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Kid heaven!
This is the best house for a family reunion you could ever imagine. Big spacious living area, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a great basement playroom with all kinds of toys, scooters and make believe items, a big upstairs playroom and a tv room with leather couches for movie or football watching. The owners even provide folding tables and chairs to increase dining seating. Also the woods out back has a wonderful hiking trail. Thank you Hoffman's!
