We came over for a wedding, so, we didn't spend a lot of time in the house. It had everything we needed and enough room for 12 comfortably. The kitchen is tiny, and the shower heads are low for tall people. Cute back yard. We didn't use the sauna. Bring your own spices and zip lock bags, foil, etc. There is a coffee pot and toaster, blender, pots labs and dishes. The house is supplied with soaps, laundry detergent and such. It was a nice stay.

Felt mislead by the photos online. The property felt dingy and in need of updating. There is missing tiles in the shower. The wallpaper is pealing away from the walls and there are stains in the ceiling tiles. It was hard to feel comfortable in the home because it felt a little gross. Location is good and backyard is nice. Needs to have a little investment in updating the house. Felt like I overpaid for what we stayed in.

Unfortunately the property is in need of desperate repairs and renovations. We had many little issues but we made the most of it the managing company tried but not much they could do. Grill is dangerously rotted out wouldn't recommend using it. Also the old door handles like to randomly stop working. Locking You in or out of your room.

5:: Received 2 nasty threatening voice mails 11 minutes apart at 11 pm to have us evicted because apparently the neighbors don’t like 6 adults having a conversation around the fire pit, so you better whisper or else the property manager will call the police. Oh, did I mention I’m 61 and my wife is 57. Didn’t know we were such party animals.

Nice House in Seaside
Nice property near the beach. Great for exploring the town, the beach, and the surrounding area. House is old but pretty well maintained and updated in some areas. We called the property manager about the smell of gas from the water heater but they didn’t do anything. Batteries in the tsunami warning box need to be replaced to stop it from beeping continually. Overall, nice place in good location for a medium sized group.

Family Shared Stay
Despite the rainy Oregon coast weekend, we got out and about and the kids enjoyed all the activities that Seaside has to offer. Thank you for a lovely stay. Note: we added batteries to the remote but had difficulties getting tv working. Additional instructions there would be helpful. But not having a tv made us learn some new things, so all is good.

Great family bonding place.
This was our Christmas present to our adult children, to just spend time together. The house accommodated all of us perfectly with room to spare. We enjoyed the large table for eating meals together, games etc. . Close to both the beach, town and just a short drive to some great day hikes. Beds were clean and comfy. The house provided everything our family needed. I have to admit I was a bit taken back by a few reviews. After staying here we decided if you are used to 5 star resort accommodations, this place is not for you. However if you want to have a great time and make some memories and have the feel of grandmas beach house , you will love it We certainly did. Thanks for sharing this adorable gem.

Dirtiest property I’ve stayed at.
The location of the house couldn’t be better. Four blocks to the prom and barely any dunes to cross before the beach. However this property needs to be deep cleaned by a professional cleaning company. It’s seriously disgusting. There’s mold in the sauna and on the kitchen garbage can. Every single dish was either dirty or covered in cooking oil. The grout throughout the house was BLACK. There’s layers of dirt upon layers of more dirt everywhere you look. The walls are covered in hand marks and grime. Theres hair all over the house and food stuck to the kitchen floor. I kept pulling other peoples hair off of my clothes all week. There’s a stick of butter smashed between two plates in the cupboard and there was coffee left in the coffee pot from previous guests. The house isn’t fully fenced and any dog smaller than a Jack Russell could escape the backyard. The dryer vent to the outside was painted shut which was a huge fire hazard. And things that previous guests complained about in reviews were not cleaned. For instance the food between the kitchen table boards and the thing growing on the back of the toilet was still there. We actually left a day early because we were so grossed out. It’s unfortunate because the house would be great if it was properly taken care of.

the house was in a great location we were notified the day of that the dishwasher wasn't working no big deal we weren't going to let it ruin or holiday but the house was not clean there was something growing on the back of the toilet tank and the dust was awful one bedroom upstairs the knobs fell off the door trapping my aunt inside she had to call on her cell for us to come get her out we're pretty easy going and I didn't want to write a bad review but when I called to let someone know that there were a few issues she seemed more irritated that I called the door issue could be a big fire Hazzard and there are also no hand rails on any of the steps outside the house and we had 2 diabled people with us I don't think it meets any ADA standards it was very difficult for them to get in or out of the home with their walkers I felt like she just didn't want to hear about it we had a great time and the house did suit our needs there was plenty of dishes cookware blankets ect... and the sauna was a nice extra with the snow while we were there I would recommend this property but not in the current state that it is in especially if you are traveling with anyone that is disabled

Pictures made it appear nicer than in person, older, not maintained well
This house is in an amazing location and very large. It fit our large group of friends for the seaside volleyball tournament. Showers had nice water temps and pressure. Two Large gathering areas where they provided games, and the sauna came in very handy. However, I was disappointed with the overall appearance inside and outside of the house. Nothing had been maintained, the grass was dead the paint on the exterior of the house was peeling off; the inside was similar, very old sun damaged furniture. The Kitchen was extremely disorganized things were just shoved in random places which made it extremely difficult to find supplies. When we initially arrived I went straight to the master bathroom to use the restroom and the first thing I noticed was the floors had not been swept after previous guests there was blacks hairs all over the ground and dirt all along the shower. We also ran out of toilet paper by day 3 and there were no extra supplies to restock with. I would stay here again only if the place were updated with newer furniture and linens etc. overall, it just needs to appear more cared about and maintained.

As advertised. Fairly clean; older home. Easy access to beach and promenade. Nice fenced back yard; secured for pet. We used the fire pit for hot dog roasting. Overall I would recommend this site and use it again myself.

Nice getaway
This was a very nice getaway. Close enough to beach and town center to enjoy but far enough away to get away from all the sounds and commotion. Open, airy spaces. Good sized bedrooms. Wonderful backyard. Would definitely stay again.

This place could really use an update as the pictures do not reflect it’s current state. No propane and dirty bbq tools under lid so unusable there. Sliding glass had child’s handprints all over. Smelled like dirty old persons house. Master bdrm bathroom is a joke with a noisy pocket door and broken tile floor that cuts your bare feet. Key box is not where it’s listed and we randomly found it just before calling about it’s location. Stayed in better for less.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Edgewood Escape. The location couldn't be beat as it was a quick walk to the prom and the center of town. We booked this rental as a work from home get away. Laptops for all as we zoomed and google meeted through school classes and work duties. Wifi was terrific in the downstairs area and adequate upstairs. A strong signal allowed 40 mpbs down and 10 up (measured at ) which was plenty for six heavy use devices. Large desk in master bedroom and plenty of space to work. We brought our two dogs with us and they loved romping in the surf at the beach and hanging out in the smallish fenced in backyard. Seaside in September is a great time for dogs. The no daily pet fee but small deposit made this rental more affordable than some others in town. A great family place. Not uber fancy, but very comfortable. The large living area with fireplace was a terrific gathering area at the end of the day. Slept two couples and four kids very comfortably with two extra sleeping spaces unused.

Nice house, nice location, lots of room. Major water leak under sink, dishwasher leaked, thought beverage container was leaking in fridge, however when cleaning out fridge, realized it was a leak, not the container. No light by stairs leading to outside. Left concerned that would get charged for not cleaning correctly- we cleaned everything that we used, but left what was dirty when we got there (crumbs under microwave, dead spider by fireplace, etc). Would stay here again if guaranteed that better maintenance practices are in place.

This house was in a great location for our group, had all the basics needs of a stay, and we were comfortable. However, there were a few things that lacked that would have made it more comfy. There was not enough toilet paper provided for the house (3 extra rolls), the sinks were slow draining and caused concern, when we came into the home the fire alarms were beeping in test mode. The kitchen had basics (oil, seasonings), but were expired/old. LOTS of kitchen wares (great for a big group!) including flatware, dishes, glasses. It felt just a little outdated. However, again, we were comfortable, and it was just enough to get the job done for the weekend!
