Amazing home from home! Super cosy, especially with the underfloor heating and nice lighting. Well stocked kitchen including condiments for cooking. Loved the hot tub and coffee machine. Great views. Two bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a bath. All very clean.
Nothing! This place is perfect for a stay in south Iceland.

Amazing space. Clean and homely. Lots of kitchen equipment. Loved the hot tub. The kitchen and remote location..
I was worried about how we would get the keys as wasn't sure of our arrival time. I need not have worried as there was a key code box. It would have been nice to know this well in advance as I wasn't sure and awaited a reply which wasn't too quick due to the Christmas break. Everything else was perfect
.thank you so much.

The location was good
The bathrooms are not that clean, one bathroom bathtub is not working and it don’t have lock. The dryer vent was very dirty full of lint and it does not dry clothes completely.

Absolutely gorgeous home in a beautiful and quiet location with stunning mountain views. Wished we'd booked more than 2 nights!
Everything was perfect.

Hidden gem in Iceland near Vik with easy access to nearby sightseeings. Comfortable for a family of 6 esp. kids loving the secret place up there. Very cozy place with nice view of the snow mountain. You have everything to cook, coffee and relax, just bring your own food as not in a town with shops.

Location was amazing, very peaceful with gorgeous views! House is super cute! We enjoyed staying here
Would like to have been able to warm up food in microwave. The upper bunk bed is not really suited for an adult.

Location was amazing, with no one around you. Very secluded.

Very comfortable, quiet and clean.
Area that connected the sleeping quarters to the rest of the house was odd and wasn't completely weatherproof. It rained the 2nd night we were there and shoes left in that area ended up soaked by a leak in that area's roof. Would recommend keeping shoes and coats inside one of the main sections of the house. But this wouldn't discourage me from staying here again.

The place is secluded next to the farm with Icelandic horses and that is the best part of the location. The amenities are top-notch and the choices of decor inside the home is beautiful and very classy. I will recommend this place to everyone and will visit again if I come to Iceland.
There is nothing I didn't like.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location so close to the sights. Loved the heated floor and the hot tub after our travels.
No problems or issues at all.

This place was amazing!
When we came house was waiting for us warm.
There was everything that was needed in the common space beautifully accommodated. Hot tub outside was hot all the time and we could relax after long day.
Cabin was away from main road so we had a chance to see the northern lights 😀

The house was perfectly clean, good comunication. Kids liked hot tub. It was very good time spent there. nice views from windows.
Nothing.

- The house is so beautiful. I think it's our favourite accommodation throughout the trip.
- The location is perfect for our daily trips to Vik. It's also very quiet and quite secluded. We managed to catch our first Northern Lights here.
- Equipped with full kitchen utensils, washer and dryer, and netflix.
- Easy self check in and check out.
- The hot tub looked wonderful. But the weather was quite bad throughout our stay, so we couldn't really use it.
- There are 2 bathrooms available, but we ended up only using 1 as we couldn't figure out how to lock the door of the other bathroom properly.
- The wifi only available for 4 people to connect to it at any given time, while there were 5 of us.

Nice large cabin with hottub on a quiet location closebto the ring road.

It was toooo good to be true. 3 nights [or more] are perfect to relax [in the hot tub and watch northern lights], to go to the plane wreck, to Seljavallalaug swimmingpool, to the glacier and the waterfalls in the area (Skogafoss, Kvernufoss, Seljalandsfoss etc.). Make sure you come with tons of food because there is no shop around...
Definitely the best days on our whole Iceland trip!

Amazing cabin in the middle of nowhere. Very spacious,, charming, family friendly and clean. You could see the northern lights from the inside as it has many windows, yet it is private.
It has two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a shower.
The main room has a loft with a large bed. You can easily have 6-7 people sleep here.
It has a big and new jacuzzi that were weren't able to use because of our schedule.
The house can be tricky to find with Google maps. Just get familiar with how it looks like on the outside, it was no trouble for us.
Grocery store and gas station are 30 minutes away. So plan in advance and buy what you need before arrival. Very few restaurants in the area as well. Still very charming.
15 minutes away from 3 of most popular waterfalls in the south.

We LOVED this beautifully decorated house. We enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly, rainy, windy evening. We enjoyed walking on the country roads. We loved gathering in the large and cozy living room. The kitchen was very complete. It was so nice to have two bathrooms and a washer and dryer! Beautiful views! totally quiet. Very private.
I would have liked to have instruction for the complicated DeLonghi coffee maker. I watched several youtube videos but never figured out what error code I was getting. I gave up and made instant coffee. The dryer didn't really dry things.

Great house with all you need (even quite modern jacuzzi). Confortable, clean, warm, well equiped. Nice position, too (especially for exploring south-easter parts of Iceland).

phenomenal kitchen; bath tube
We loved everything!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! It had everything you would need. It was warm, in a great location close to many attractions. Hot tub was just perfect after walking and exploring the whole day, with water constantly being 40C. I would live there :) Just perfect!
The only thing I could say is that the owners weren't responsive to my messages, I had some additional questions but never got the answer. Everything is very automatized. But we figured everything out at the end, so no big deal.

This stay was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. The location is remote but surrounded by wonderful landscapes. The quietness allowed us to fully enjoy our holidays, and the hot tub was amazing.
We enjoyed everything! If we come back to Iceland, we will book this place once again without any doubt!

No words can explain how beautiful is the Grund Cabin. It exceeded all of our expectations and the hot tub was absolutely amazing. It has everything one needs and more. It is worth even changing your whole travel itinerary just to stay in this house :)

Very nice house, comfortable living room and lovely main bedroom, the other two rooms were ok but the one in the attic has very low ceiling and it is better for children to sleep there
They could clean better the fridge

Exceptional living area with great technology and super comfortable with heated floors
Lacked a few essentials like dish cloth and tea towels

Great ambiance, beautifully decorated, spacious, best hottub, good beds, close to the ring road. What is not to like?

Great isolated property but not far from main road. Fantastic living space and kitchen with everything you need. Bedrooms separate. Loft space is integrated into one of the rooms so privacy is limited - i.e. not 3 bedrooms. Jacuzzi rather than hot tub, but still a great feature. Quiet. Quick response from owners to any queries. Wonderful touring base for southern Iceland.
Really nice place.

This was our favorite lodging of our entire ring road trip! We all kept saying how much we loved it and could live there. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved how open and spacious everything was.
