Super friendly welcome, beautiful clean room with lots of room for me and mum. Also as well as the beds there were 2 wingback chairs for us to sit and read 😁
We had easy access to lots of great places we visited some beautiful villages and a castle!
Breakfast was from 8 - 11 an all you can eat buffet with fresh eggs cooked at your request.
We had a lovely quiet stay. 👌
TV is due an update
Shower could be better,

Very quiet hotel when we were there, nice breakfast, very friendly staff
No shower - which was my mistake for not reading description carefully, but a surprise these days.

Breakfast was OK, but very limited. Boring cereals, absence of fresh fruit but cooked items were OK. No atmosphere, seemed like the Mare Celeste.
Total lack of atmosphere, but appreciate this trip was off season. Felt almost like a criminal as everything had to be paid for at time of order!
I thought the COVID excuse for non servicing of bedrooms was pathetic and inexcusable!

Accommodation lovely rural setting old quaint coach inn, quiet and tranquil. Breakfast perfectly adequate but feel the addition of some fruit and yogurt would benefit as not everyone eats cereal, but cooked breakfast very good.
We stayed in the annex, although the interior of the room was newly decorated and comfortable a need for some drawers to put things in would have made it better. Although we only stayed for three nights we were unable to unpack under garments as nowhere to put them and used case as drawers. There was not a wardrobe but the hanging rail was sufficient for other items of clothing.

The room was clean and comfy
Found the staff to be rather non plussed. We stood dripping in the bar as we were on bikes and rather than tell us to go to reception we were left until others were served only to them be told we needed to go to reception.Around 10pm I locked the door to our room and it broke locking is in.No-one on reception and the pub was closed !! I ended up fixing the issue myself !
On the plus side due to the weather we were allowed into our room earlier than check-in and the heating was on which was a massive bonus with wet clothing

Clean & comfortable, like you would expect.
Despite my dislikes I mentioned, It was a lovely room & the food in the evening & at breakfast was lovely.
We only had a bath, which was fine, but the plug chain was broken. Also, there was no shower attachment, so it made washing your hair very difficult! The main disappointment was that there was quite a toxic smell in the room, in the middle of the night/morning. The bedroom window was open, so whether there was some kind of vent outside, expelling something I don't know!

Room was clean, fresh and comfortable. The food was fantastic.

Some staff very nice and friendly, some were nice/neutral. Lots of cider options if you like that. Food is amazing (Go for Sunday Carvery!!). Very cozy, nice and warm, shower was good and bed very comfy. Great views and nice vibe in the pub.
Nothing really. For the price you pay and the service, food, etc. it's great!

Food was very good and staff friendly
No shower even though everything was there for one, shower connection, gel and shampoo, hair dryer very frustrating, told by owners if we wanted a shower we should have asked, I've never ever booked a hotel requesting a shower, advertised as en suite bathroom you would assume a shower was included.

Room itself was nice, and front view of the countryside which was nice.
Food was nice, we had a main meal.
Even though we were on the front near the road, it wasn't busy so didn't bother us at all.
These aren't complaints, just observations!
Although I've said these points, I would stay here again!!
Staff were friendly enough but could have been a little better. No one was there to greet us at breakfast, and the chef popped their head out as they must have heard us talking. The lady did say morning later on. Breakfast was tasty, loved the bread and sausages!!
On check out, the lady could have asked us if we had a nice stay, etc.
The guy showed us to our room, and also to make sure the heating was on, we did have to turn it down as it was warm in the room. Although the bathroom was the opposite, it was cold, the old towel rail didn't give off heat, so that could possibly be looked at (maybe a new rail or a little radiator of some sort.
Check-in was okay and easy as the pub was quiet, we checked in at the bar as no one on the check-in desk in the lobby (which is nice and a surprise between).
This place is quite rural nothing around, nearest shop that we used was Williton (coop and spar), definitely need a car when staying here to get everywhere, which is fine).

Main light shade needed cleaning. At breakfast floor was sticky and food debris left. Toilet seat loose. Head board loose.

It was very welcoming and easy to find. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.
The room was far too hot. We turned the radiator off and opened the windows and though it was the end of October it was too hot. The television could do with being bigger, we had a four poster bed and could not see the tiny tv because of the bedpost. I think a bigger bed would be better. I think a lot of people are used to a king sized bed and going into a double is not very comfortable.

Breakfast was the best we have had when staying in any hotel, sausages were to die for! We were down visiting family in Treborough so the location was perfect, beautiful setting and great for families to sit outside in the summer.
We were unable to have a room with a shower in and as I don't like baths, it was a bit disappointing. Also the floorboards were really noisy when walking on them but in the grand scheme of things the best of the hotel more than made up for this.
