I enjoyed the quiet, homey environment of the Glacier Creek Lodge, nestled just outside of the town of Seward. This location allowed us to be nearby to the 4th of July festivities, while still being able to rest and recover. I also liked the local artwork displayed throughout the lodge and the spaces' cleanliness.

Jan was very welcoming. We had a very comfortable room and there a good selection of food to make our breakfast. It was a little out of town but quiet and peaceful.

We had a very good stay with Jan. Breakfast must be made by yourself but everything you need for a good breakfast was present.
You need a car to go to the center.

Jan, the host, is very friendly, flexible, and helpful. The breakfast is self-service, which I liked, in a beautiful great room with views of the mountains. Very relaxing. Our room even had a private entrance.
We could hear voices from the room below ours at night, but not too loud or late.

The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The breakfast was the perfect arrangement for our early am departures.
We liked everything 😀

This house was warm and inviting and a very good layout for guests. It felt like we were staying with a beloved Aunt who took the upmost pride in her home and sharing it with others. The beds were comfy, the linens nice, and the ensuite bathroom was perfect. The included breakfast items were generous and delicious! Very quiet and peaceful surroundings and easy to locate.
Nothing! Everything was perfect.

This was perfect for our 3 nights stay in Seward. It's not far outside of town and very quiet. It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The owner Jan is a total sweetheart. She was friendly and helpful but in no way intrusive. We appreciated being able to prepare a nice breakfast which she provides many choices in the mornings before starting our day's adventures. The view in her shared upstairs dining room is gorgeous. She had great tips for hikes and restaurants. Thanks Jan for making our stay so special!

Lovely home. A must stay if you visit Seward. The bed was comfortable and the owner was friendly. The house is set off the road in a beautiful setting. Everything about this place was inviting. We will definitely stay here again when in Seward.

Jan is very kind, warm-hearted, responsive host. Her house is super clean and cozy. The location is convenience and off the main road with quiet environment. The room is huge and have its own microwave and fridge. We cooked the breakfast with supplied food materials like eggs, toast, banana, yogurt and cereals. Highly recommend!

Beauty of location, beautiful place to eat breakfast - wide variety of great options for breakfast Close to town.
Mattress on one of the twin beds not so good. Husband said his bed was very comfortable

We stayed in the king suite, which is in the second floor of the home and can be entered either through a separate entrance on the deck or through the house. It was extremely comfortable, spacious, and well-designed, with every single detail carefully thought through. Any amenity you could want was there. The bathroom had two sinks and there was a walk-in closet. Jan was an excellent host, pleasant to talk to and helpful with her suggestions of what to do in the area. Because of COVID, breakfast was a “make it yourself” arrangement in the large kitchen/great room, but there were plenty of supplies to make anything you wanted, including eggs. The property was located slightly on the outskirts of town, which is totally fine if you have a car (and we enjoyed getting away from the bustle of downtown Seward). Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing.

Very close proximity to Seward located on a quiet residential road. Private room entrance. Great breakfast options provided. Wonderful views from the patios.

Lovely B&B not far from the town and all the activities we did. We stayed in Room 2 (Queen room) with so many facilities. Full coffee service (including cream in the mini-fridge), comfortable bed and linens, toiletries and shower supplies, and even a folding table that we could put up for having meals and snacks. Jan's 2nd-floor common space and breakfast area were very comfortable. Her covid adaptations gave us access to a variety of prepared/ready breakfast options which was helpful as we had a couple early mornings and could eat breakfast in our room.
All went well here and, for the location and our needs, we had everything!

I have travelled all over the world I have never stayed at a place that was so well taking care of and so clean. The owner Jan was so pleasant and made us feel so welcome. When we arrived she gave us tour of the place and introduced us to the kitchen and bbq grill. We loved the ability to cook. The included breakfast options were amazing. in the evening we sat out on the deck with views of snow capped mountains and many eagles. this beautiful place is only 10 minutes from seward but gives you so much more of the nature feel. We want to again publically thank Jan fro making this the most wonderful stay we had on our alaskan vacation.
only thing i didnt like was that i had to go. this place was 10 out of 10

Excellent location just outside Seward. You will need a car. Great, make your own breakfast setup. Beautiful home in a country setting. The owner Jan is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the smaller 2 bed room and it was meticulously clean and had all of the amenities you needed and more. Very quiet. Near exit glacier.
I highly recommend this place.
