Awesome set up and flow of the hotel. It was super spacious and had everything that we needed. The bonus part was having access to the washing machine. It was super convenient.

Extremely happy with the hotel room with 2 bedrooms and a living room. Total area about 50sq m. This is the only room on level 5 and level 6 is the rooftop garden which was equipped with a washer. Drying of clothes can be done easily in the bathroom which has dehumifying feature. The clothes dried easily after a few hours. Dyson hair dryer was provided. 7 min walk to Oshiage station. Nearby has a supermart Big-A which sells things much cheaper than convenience stall. Hotel staff, Ms Dongyue, was exceptionally outstanding in her service. She was able to covers in mandarin and English fluently. She is very attentive, polite and patient. Higly recommended for family to get this room.
None.

Everything, modern, cosy and with a very efficient organisation of the space. In a quiet neighborhood and with a roof terrace. Staff are friendly and helpful: will definitely stay there when we are back on Tokyo.

Nothing - it was great.

Had everything we needed with a room clean every 2nd day, staff were so lovely. Went out of their way to buy my girls lollies when they said they liked the ones in their lolly jar. Coffee machine in foyer was amazing, drinks on arrival, ease of check in and out. Loved the roof top for a drink after a long day exploring.
Our room was top floor with amazing views of the Sky tree tower! Sky tree shopping mall was so cool if you want a place to look around and great food.
Train station was 8 mins from us. Was fine but after a big day was a bit challenging with kids.

We stayed as a family of four. The layout was phenomenal as it allowed us to segregate into separate areas so that the kids could sleep without us bothering them. My wife looked but could not find any dirt/dust in the bathroom; it was truly spotless. Having a refrigerator, cooktop, and basic meal prep items was exceptionally useful. We were especially impressed by the efficiency of using the bathroom as a space to dry clothes -- so nice!

It is so comfortable staying at Sola. The view is beautiful also. Staff are nice and responsible. Thank you so much.
The upstair walking noise is hearable. There may need a basket for used towels.

Super convenient for families

Great service, very clean and modern rooms. Nice location in walking distance from Sky Tree shopping centre and metro station. Many restaurants and small shops in the area. Very good beds and nice free drinks after every cleaning.
We liked our appartment very much but as traveler from Europe you need to get used to the space limitations and the higher rates. Japan is not a budget location

When you’re met at reception after a long days travel with the offer of a beer or champagne you know it’s going to be a good stay 😅! Very comfortable room , in a handy location 10 mins walk to the train station and Skytree, lots of dining options close by, quiet neighbourhood.

This was our second stay at Sola, this time the night before we flew back to the UK. It was so nice to return to our Tokyo ‘home’! On this occasion we booked an adjoining room for our daughter, which worked perfectly. Once again, our room(s), the service and facilities were perfect, and the refreshments in our fridge very welcome. Our only regret was that we simply didn’t have time to visit the gorgeous roof terrace on this occasion. Thank you so much to Reina, who helped us out immensely the night before our departure in procuring a taxi for us and then, when our flight was delayed, rearranging the taxi booking. She went above and beyond! We would LOVE to return, both to Japan and Sola! Huge thanks from Sandi, Nick and Georgia
All good!

Sola Hotel is such a gem in Tokyo! I stayed here for eight nights and I was so sad to leave. The owners are very friendly, always walking extra miles for their guests. It is a 5-min walk from the B1 exit of the Shiage station, which has multiple lines to take you everywhere!
The room is sparkling clean and everything smells good there. The free drinks and snacks are some extra touches.
You’ll love the rooftop area! Their beds are comfy and just the way I like it (not too soft). They even have the high-end model of Toto toilet bowls :) that I’ll miss!

Spacious and cozy. Not many hotels in Tokyo had the luxury of space. Very thoughtful for guest/s. Well equipped with light cooking facilities, mini fridge, free drinks, snacks.. Loved the roof top with an view too. techie room. last but not least, thanks to Ms Dongyue for the assist, we loved it.

The Location was absolutely perfect! SkyTree and various stations are in close proximity. The staff was super helpful and also provided luggage transfer to our next hotel. A+
While the room was super clean and well kept, there was a lingering scent that seemed odd. It may have been the air freshener they used or even the Kitchen area, but we couldn’t figure it out.

excellent hotel if you’re staying around skytree and asakusa area. the area is very quite as the hotel is in the middle of a neighborhood however oshiage skytree station is only 4 mins walking from the place. I didn’t meet any of the staff but they were helpful and whenever I needed something I just messaged them through booking messages

Comfortable room, great terrace.
A bit too much of the attention from staff.

Excellent location in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to Sky Tree and Oshiage. The room was perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable. Very cool to have a rooftop deck. Staff was kind and helpful.
The only "problem" we ran into is that we weren't told the hotel room door code needed a * or # at the end of it (I can't remember which now). We tried the code a few times and thought we were locked out of our room, and as we arrived after hours there was no one there to ask. We finally tried with a * or # at the end of the number and it worked. Not a big issue at all, but it caused some brief worry. Just a heads up to anyone else who runs into this.

The Sola Hotel is an incredible stay. Not only are the staff welcoming, they are extremely accommodating. We felt as if we were at home.
Everything is smooth and easy.
The location is perfect, very handy to get to bakeries, the trains, the mall, grocery shops, and of course Skytree.
As a guest you are greeted and offered many snacks and drinks, which are complimentary.
The views from the balcony where the washing machine is are stunning. The dryer in your room works very well.
The room is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Coffee and drinks and snacks are available in the lobby 24/7.
The fridge came with beverages and the bathrooms were well stocked with any essentials you might forget.
The bathtub was wonderful for a deep soak after a long day of walking.
The neighbourhood is lovely, very quiet and safe.
We highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Tokyo and looking to live like a local or be an invisible tourist. And as far as Sakura season goes, it’s very close to parks and rivers.
It’s not really their fault, but the soundproofing from the room upstairs if there is a noisy child staying up there is not great. We had many days of silence with the previous guests, but about half way a family arrived and the children were thumping and jumping until 2 am. But I will just bring my ear plugs for the next stay.
Also the beds are very firm. The futons in particular.

Pretty cool and cute hotel near the Skytree and Oshiage Station. Sterile clean, great view. While the place has a cosy Japanese style (tatami on the floor, paper and wood doors inside), it is being run by people from Taiwan — so the staff speaks 3 languages fluently — Japanese, Chinese, English — and is very nice to the foreigners.
The hotel is just bed — there is no restaurant or spa venue. However, there are many convenient stores (“konbini”) near it, also nice bars and izakayas, so you don’t get hungry or bored.
Also, the staff offers you coffee or tea with local cakes or sweets. The fridge in you rooms is filled with free drinks.
There are free cosmetics prepared for you — shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, toothbrushes with a paste, body balm of nice quality, hairbrush, cotton pads etc.
The room has a small kitchen with induction cooker, a small oven, a kitchen sink and all the appliances, plates or cutlery you would need to cook comfortably inside — you can make your own breakfast or dinner.
The bathroom and toilet are also pretty comfortable — with a laundry dryer, Japanese style bath and a nice, warmed-up washlet.
Also a great place for business people — had no problem with getting and invoice for my company’s data.
Totally recommend!
