We stayed at this property last summer and had no hesitation in rebooking for a two-week stay this year. The minute we walked in the door, we were in vacation mode and were so grateful to have more time on this beautiful property. The place was in immaculate condition, well stocked for all our cooking adventures and the pool provided a great place for afternoon fun in the sun. One of our favourite parts of the house is the screened-in porch where we spent a lot of enjoyable happy hours and reading time. Ted was once again a great host, easy to contact with any questions and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great stay. If in the area, we highly recommend a visit to the newly opened location of Pom Pom downtown Meaford, and if interested in supporting a local farm, you can walk to the Good Family Farms market just a short stroll down the country road to grab some meat and treats. Look forward to visiting again and have zero hesitation recommending this rental.

The perfect retreat
We stayed at this property for a summer family vacation and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is convenient to amenities in Meaford and Thornbury and it’s private enough that you’re away from it all at the same time. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The screened in porch overlooking the Bay was our favorite spot to unwind. Ted was very accommodating and accessible when we had any questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Family and Cycling Paradise
This was a beautiful, peaceful oasis for everyone. Ted was a fantastic host; replying quickly to messages and available during our stay. The house is modern but they have maintained the country vibe. There were too many amenities to list. We enjoyed the well appointed gourmet kitchen, ping pong table, massive TV and incredibly lg rooms with comfortable beds. The outdoors is equally wonderful. The view across the fields and down to Georgian Bay are spectacular. We also walked the property on the maintained trail as well as having a campfire. Some in our group were avid road cyclists and we conquered the hills in the area. The house is on a paved rural road which provided access to routes to Walter's Falls, Rocklyn for ice cream, Kimberley, Clarksburg, etc. We felt the roads were less busy with car traffic here than closer to Blue Mtn where we have cycled in the past. Great cycling is definitely to be had here for those looking for some hills. We kept our bikes in the locked barn each night. We drove to Thornbury for an afternoon of shopping and visit to Thornbury Cider. Also visited The Roost Winery for wine tasting, snacks and an incredible view from patio. Spy Cider House and Distillery was also within driving distance and a great afternoon experience.
Overall, this was one of the best vacation rentals we've experienced (there have been many over the years!!!) and highly recommend it for those wanting to get away from it all.

Family vacation
Stunning home with an amazing view! We had 6 adults and 4 kids and there was still plenty of room to find quiet place to read or do some napping. Lots to do in the area and on the property. The pool was a little on the cold side but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it and having a ton of fun! Would go back next time.

Truly amazing!
This farmhouse was truly amazing! We had family, children and grandchildren, and there was something for everyone to enjoy! The property is spectacular, and the farmhouse spacious, with everything you need for 12 people.
The peace and quiet of the countryside, and the view, made every day special.
Ted was attentive to all our communications, and a pleasure to work with. Very professional.
We enjoyed every aspect of the farm, and the location is convenient to shopping and activities off the farm.
We biked into town, and to the beach, and enjoyed Thornbury and Meaford.
A very difficult place to leave, and we hope to return!

Great location for relaxing and outdoor activities. Very comfortable and well done.
The Farmhouse was lovely. It was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The pool was enjoyed by everyone and it was also close to Georgian Bay so we were able to enjoy other water activities. There was basketball and skateboarding in the barn which was a hit with teenagers. We loved exploring the farm property as well as the nearby towns of Meaford and Thornbury. It was a fairly quick drive into Blue Mountain for additional activities. Overall, it was a great spot to get away and relax and spend quality family time. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that the internet did not work for almost the entire visit which was a bit of an issue and inconvenience. But the owner was very responsive and tried to assist. We would highly recommend this property and would like to go back.

Amazing
Family place perfect. 6 of us. Parents and two boys with their girls. We all had our own space. Played ping pong, swam in the pool, cooked and relaxed. Walked the farm almost every day and enjoyed the view in the mornings over coffee. Quiet and farm like with modern upscale home. When adults and 20 year olds all agree on it's greatness it must be good.
