About this house rental
Exclusive, free, private ocean front gated parking lot with an outdoor shower and boardwalk to the beach. Avoid crowds, lines, and paying for parking! When headed to the beach with chairs, cooler, towels, etc it's nice to drive over and park ocean front! The house is 0.5 mi from the private beach access. So you can walk to it too. Our private beach access is just one block from the Bogue Inlet Pier with public restrooms, a convenience store, Surf's Up ocean front restaurant, tackle shop and excellent fishing!
The master has a tempur-pedic hybrid california king with a base for raising and lowering head and feet! There a king in the first guest room and a queen in the second. New in 2023 a whole house water filtration and softening system. Kitchen and bathrooms remodeled in 2022. New appliances, cabinets, tile, kitchen countertop space tripled, master bath converted to a walk in shower, etc.! Brand new HVAC May 2022. The back deck and much of the backyard privacy fencing was replaced in 2020. In 2020, the entire private beach access boardwalk was replaced and the dock at the sound side Cedar Street Park was completely rebuilt. The sound side dock is just 0.2 miles from the house! This home was initially renovated in 2019 with brand new furniture, flooring and paint. While there will be a VRBO fee at checkout, there will be no extra fees from the owner for linens, cleaning, crib or high chair.
This property is thoroughly cleaned every week. Rest assured the house is disinfected including every light switch, door handle, etc!

Located in the heart of EI so you can walk to many shops and restaurants. Several grocery stores are just 4 minutes from the house. Walk to the sound front Cedar Street Park at the end of the street (0.2mi), sit on the bench at the end of the dock and enjoy our glorious sunsets! It's also ideal for cyclists...11 mile bicycle path. Bring your bikes! (rentals available on the island).
Linens included (bed sheets, blanket, 4 pillows per bed, towel sets, which include a bath, hand and wash cloth per person as well as bath mats are also included). The kitchen includes 2 dish towels and 2 dish cloths. Complimentary first trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a roll of paper towels, and salt, pepper and spices to get your relaxing vacation started. Also provided is hand soap next to each sink. Complimentary crib and high chair available.

We have never been to Emerald Isle. We had a great time exploring and seeing what the area had to offer. The house was perfect for our needs. Our daughter brought her best friend and they loved having their choice of rooms and all the amenities. Hurricane Debby cut our stay short because of my worry about all the rain. I highly recommend this house. So comfortable and well equipped. We will visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at this well equipped home away from home. Great location to the beach, the Sound and the shops. The host has thought of every aminity you would need. Nice privacy fence, outdoor shower and patio area outside as well.

First of, this house was beautiful and super spacious. Towels, kitchen essentials, etc were all provided and ready when we arrived.
Walking to the beach is easy, as well as driving to the beach. Stores are close, mini golf nearby, go karts, perfect for your kidsos enjoyment 😌
The outdoor patio was also very nice, along with the outdoor shower to wash all the sand off after beach travels.
The air conditioning in the home itself was superior and would freeze you out, so it was nice coming home in the super hot weather to cool off.
The owner has good communication and is nearby to respond to messages.
We had an amazing time, and would most definitely book this stay again. Thanks heather for such a great vacation and for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! 💙

Great location, great layout. Loved the private beach parking. Unfortunately, the house was dirty. Toothpaste spray on the sink, dust everywhere, dog hairs in the couch, filthy oven.

We usually stay beach side but we are now rethinking our priorities. This property was very clean, well-equipped, and so peaceful. We love to cook and the recently updated kitchen was perfectly apportioned for big dinners and quick lunches. The updates in the master bath were thoughtful and convenient. The double cherries on top of it all was the private beach parking and beach access, and the super-fast responses to any and all questions we had (which were very few) thanks to the clear communications from the owner. We look forward to booking again!

We love this place!! This is our 3rd year staying here & can’t say enough good things. The house is setup really well to accommodate our group of 5 adults & 1 child. The outdoor space has a great deck w lots of shade for hanging out & meals, plus a great outdoor shower. The house is all one level & super clean. It’s in a quiet area and the beach is still easily accessible w the included parking access. This home will always be our 1st choice when vacationing in EI.

We had a great vacation at Emerald Isle and a big part of the reason was this beach house and easy access to the beach. We normally stay oceanfront, and we were a little hesitant. While no need to be. The location of the home is in a great neighborhood and the parking at the beach was easy and always available. The home was clean, with modern/updated bathrooms and kitchen. We loved the back deck. With all the shade from the trees, the deck was always cool and relaxing when getting back from the beach. Heather was great to work with and always got right back with answers to questions. I would recommend the property and we plan on staying again when we return to Emerald Isle.

We loved our time at Heather’s house. A lot of thought had been put into what guests might need - fully stocked kitchen with updated/well-kept cookware and appliances, comfortable beds, and a guestbook with lots of helpful information. The outdoor shower was wonderful, as was access to private parking at the beach, which wasn’t super crowded and very close by. Great communication from Heather as well! Highly recommend this house! We look forward to coming back!

Love this place!!!
First, don't be worried that this property isn't on the ocean, because the house, location, and owner are awesome!!! A short walk to the sound area, with a pier and benches are great for watching the beautiful NC sunsets, another short walk to the highway and you're at the best breakfast/coffee place on the island, as well as a great donut shop! As for the beach, this neighborhood has a dedicated beach access, and even there during the 4th, there were plenty of parking spaces, a great, well maintained walkway to the beach, which is close to the pier, but without the crowds! The house itself is wonderful, plenty of space, and lots of updates, and one of my favorite things is the outdoor hot shower! If you stay, please be sure to give this a try, believe me you'll be sold! Heather is awesome, and even on a holiday is always accessible to help with any issues you might have! I will definitely be staying here again!!

Lovely stay at this vacation home
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this home. We especially enjoyed having meals outside on the deck and walking down the street to the cute donut shop.
The private beach access was really great to have as we could just show up and park without having to drive around endlessly looking for a spot.
The little closed in sunroom was a nice surprise as it made a great spot for my toddler to hang out with his toys while still being in eye sight. Would definitely rent this home again or recommend to friends!

Perfect size house for my wife and I. Clean, new flooring through out. Enjoyed having dinner in the prívate backyard with nice 😊 deck as well as having our coffee in the rocking chairs. My wife rented a bike 🏍 for the week and had fun on her daily bike rides including watching the sunset 🌅.

Perfect House. Perfect Location
One of the best places we have ever stayed. The ground level was perfect with aging parents. The location was perfect. So close to all the EI amenities. Private parking was awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked. There is even Tupperware. The place was super clean. The outside shower with hot water was a huge bonus with six adults. The owner was wonderful to work with. The back deck is huge. The neighborhood is quite and the sunsets from the pier on the sound side are amazing. We have VRBO'd more than the average and this is easily in the top two places we have ever stayed.

This is our second summer booking this home and we love it. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the outdoor space is amazing & great for hanging out, outdoor shower is fabulous (not sure we ever used the indoor ones), & the beach parking access makes things sooo much easier. Great beach vacation
If you are looking for a great house in a great location this is it! My family (myself, husband, son 18, daughter 16) had a fantastic stay in this extremely well equipped house. The house was exactly as pictured and described and exceeded our expectations. The kids loved having their own spacious rooms with their own TVs. The living room had plenty of space for us all to sit and watch movies together. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner with plenty of plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. The house has a very beachy feel with some beautiful furniture and furnishings.
The house is a short walk to a beautiful dock with amazing sunsets. We went fishing every night. The beach was a little further in the opposite direction. We did walk to it once but it was much easier in the car and having the private parking was awesome.
The area has many things to do, we went kayaking, go karting, mini golfing and to the aquarium.
Heather, the owner, was extremely responsive to any questions that I had. I would absolutely book this house again. :)

We had a excellent time staying in this house. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and super nice. It felt like home as soon as we walked thru the door and even though a few streets over from the beach she had you taken care of with a private beach access just right down the road. Wonderful house and great location!!!
This house was absolutely wonderful! Extremely clean, neat, comfortable, had EVERY amenity!!! I can't say enough about how much we loved this house, and the owner is absolutely fantastic to deal with! Super easy check-in, and even easier check-out. About a block from the main road, easy walk to some great food places (Flip Flop Donuts & Circle Pizza are fantastic) and about the same distance in the other direction is a wonderful little Park on the Sound. The private beach parking area was a special treat and everyone was super friendly. For the house, the beds were super comfy, soft sheets (beds were already made!), roomy bathrooms, nice airy open kitchen/dining/living room area, so you never felt crowded. Wonderful sunroom and the back deck was amazing. perfect for that morning coffee! One of the nicest surprises was the outdoor shower - clean, lots of space, and the waterless hot water heater was amazing!! Though traffic on Emerald Drive can be hectic, we were lucky and had no problems. You can't go wrong with this house, and we're already planning our week for next year!

Clean and Cute!
The house was spotless when we arrived, and the check in process was super easy. The kitchen was stocked well and cabinets were labeled, which is such a great idea for a rental! It’s in a great location and the beach parking access is clutch. We rented bikes and they were dropped off at the house, and we had a great time using them on the bike paths around the island. Would definitely recommend Heather’s place to anyone considering it!

Lovely, roomy (and very clean) 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. Lots of room to find your own space and also room to come together. Location to Main Street was excellent (within walking distance), plus beach access was A-MAZ-ING! Private access right down the street. (We loves that!). Also, great gathering space inside and out. Loved the outdoor shower! Incredible privacy even though in a neighborhood. House was equipped with so much that we didn’t want for anything! Definitely a wonderful find! Last, owner was responsive, available and so helpful! Love this place!

Emerald Isle Get-away Cottage
This is a darling, fully furnished 3 BR 2 BA beach cottage located between the sound and the ocean. While not a waterfront property, we would stay here again. It is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with plenty of space, a kitchen loaded with dishes and cookware that met our needs, a TV in every bedroom, plenty of privacy, a great outdoor space in back with grill, and a fantastic outdoor shower - what a treat!! I showered outdoors every day. The owner, Heather, was very responsive from booking to our trip's end. I loved the front porch rocking chairs too and would have used them more if the porch umbrella would have been available.

Perfect little slice of paradise.
We loved our stay on Cedar St. The house was spotless & very well stocked. We especially loved the outdoor shower, shaded deck & the sunroom that provided extra hang out space. Location is great too. Far enough away from the pier to be out of the hustle & bustle but still super close to all the amenities. The private access to beach parking is also a huge bonus. We have already rebooked for next year!!! Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with us.

Beautiful home, perfect location!
This house is beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable, exactly as pictured and described. It is centrally located, easy walk to the beach, the bay, and local shops. The house had everything we needed to cook our nightly dinners. I recommend viewing the sunset from Cedar Street Park. We also enjoyed a short drive to the Point two different evenings.
