This NEW condo is part of the historical Unique Theater renovation and filled with all the amenities that living in the heart of downtown Salida offers- walking distance to theaters, restaurants, art galleries, and the Arkansas River walk. The Main Level is open and spacious with a Queen Bedroom, large office/den (Murphy Queen Bed) and a full custom tiled bathroom. Second Floor has a Master Suite, with walk in in closet and and loft area with a futon for additional sleeping space.

We took our 8 y/o grandson and great-niece to Salida for a few days of WW rafting etc. This was the perfect place to stay, centrally located, close to everything including groceries, so no car unless we wanted to. And the loft! It was stunning just as shown on the website. The kids called it “super gourmet”! 😉 Beds were SO comfy and I loved having the washer/dryer. The hosts were very responsive and helpful as well. A perfect stay!

We had an amazing time in Salida staying in this cool, modern condo. We loved being in the action downtown. We shopped, dined and spent lots of time at the riverside park. Our teenager enjoyed the fun selection of Nintendo games and we enjoyed coffee on the rooftop patio every morning. Kaylee is an excellent host and has stocked the condo with everything you will need. This was one of our top VRBO experiences ever!

We were in town for a wedding and the location of this property could not have been better! We were able to walk to every event! During our downtime, we has easy access to Salidas main street and the river. Having the private parking space was a huge plus too with all of the crowds downtown. Kaylee was a great host and was able to quickly answer any questions we had! We will be staying here again (hopefully sooner than later!)

Condo was clean and spacious. The town is quaint very friendly. Location of the condo is perfect! We were able to see the lighting of the xmas mountain as well as the parade.
We are looking forward to our next visit.

We loved everything about our stay here. The property contact was easy to communicate with. The place itself is beautiful and extremely well stocked. The location is perfect. The rooftop deck is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again if possible.

My wife and I love downtown Salida, and this property was wonderful. The location was perfect, the property was clean and well-kept, and Kaylee, the owner, was responsive and helpful. The highlight for us was the view from the deck, which has comfortable chairs and a large umbrella for shade. The view of the Salida ‘S’ from the living room rounded out the experience. All in all 5-star.

The first thing we noticed about the Opera House Loft is that it seems even more spacious than in the pictures (which is the opposite of most places). It was very comfortable with a large kitchen and dining area and a huge living room with a lot of seating space. The windows let in a lot of light so it was always bright and cheery even when it was raining outside. We had a perfect view of "S" mountain at all times, too. The patio/outdoor area was very large and comfortable as well. We never felt cramped as we have in so many other places. We also appreciated the rare air conditioning even though it was cool most of the time we were there (our last visit to Salida had temperatures in the mid 90s so it was nice to know we wouldn't be hot and miserable without AC again). And all of this on top of being right in the middle of the downtown area with a quick walk to the park, restaurants, shopping, etc. And with a dedicated parking lot so no need to deal with street parking. I will definitely try to book again on our next trip to Salida.

We stayed here for a couple day skiing trip to Monarch and it was absolutely perfect. Very clean rental and perfect location. We will be back!

We have been enjoying The Opera House in Salida for several years! It has everything you need to cook, rest, sleep, & enjoy yourselves. We take advantage of the games, puzzles, the grill & we love to eat out on the beautiful back deck! Kaylee, the homeowner is available & so accommodating! She’s the best! The grocery store is one block away & the River is only 2 blocks away! We love the River & have gone in the summer in the past but this year we went in the fall & still GREATLY enjoyed the river! I highly recommend this beautiful home!

There are so many great things about this property I don’t know where to begin. We splurged for FiBArk and Father’s Day and it was so worth it.
- Parking was incredibly convenient with a safe spot to drive in and park the entire time!! No moving cars due to street parking rules. We could unload and load with four kids and no stress.
- The location has the alley direct to F Street which was blocked off for pedestrians. Super close to park, shopping and restaurants!!
- The hosts were awesome to work with!!
- The interior was truly luxurious. From the gardenia soap/lotion, beautiful/comfortable furniture, everything you could want to cook (and kids dishes!!). We were able to cook breakfast and come back for lunch since it was so close to the festivities. I appreciate the little things (ice/water from fridge, coffee already stocked, plastic wrap). Safeway literally two blocks away - I walked there just to get ice cream for the family it was so close.
- So many sleeping options!! Queen downstairs and pull out Murphy bed. KING upstairs with blowup mattress and crib if needed. Huge closet! Bathroom with double sink upstairs! Shower with some magic spa shower heads!
- Games and another couch upstairs. Nintendo on main tv! TV in upstairs room.
You won’t regret staying here. It was better than expected which makes for a great vacation.

Wonderful location and amenities
Our family loved our stay at the Salida Opera House loft! As mentioned in the other reviews, the loft was very well-stocked with everything we needed and much more than you see with other VRBO‘s. We were there during Christmas, and they even decorated the loft with some Christmas decorations which was appreciated. Kaylee is also very responsive and helpful.
There are two dedicated parking spots in a gated area behind the loft which was great being in downtown.
We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Stellar Property
The Opera Loft House is a beautiful home right in the heart of downtown Salida. It was clean, had EVERYTHING we needed, has a perfect view of S Mountain AND is 2 blocks from the River! This is our third stay there & was an excellent choice once again! The owner is great & answered my emails almost instantly!

Another great Fibark weekend
This condo is in the perfect location in downtown Salida- you can walk to everything- bars, shopping, restaurants, etc. Lot’s of room to spread out, comfy beds and a great patio for happy hour. The owners provided recommendations on nearby activities and were quick to respond when we had questions. I’m planning a longer stay this fall and will definitely book here

Beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location is incredible. You've got views of the mountains both east and west while being in the center of town. Linens, kitchen and furnishings are high quality and well-stocked. Most importantly the owner was really friendly and easy to communicate with.

This rental and location exceeded our expectations!! Quality & comfort. Close proximity to river with many fun activities for our family. Excellent eating places, parks and other conveniences very close. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and town. Our host was an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. We would definitely want to stay here again.

Modern & Fun
This place was one of our all time favorites! It’s modern and clean. The kitchen was well stocked including extras other places don’t include like k-cups and ziplocks. The location is great, we walked to dinner most nights. My kids enjoyed playing games too. A great place for our family of six!

Wish we could have stayed longer!
We loved this property - it was the perfect home base for our weekend trip. It's right downtown, so it's walkable to everything - restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. There's a great dessert place right downstairs. :) The loft is clean with several sleeping arrangement options. Kaylee was easy to work with and gave us several great recommendations. We had a busy itinerary - we spent time snowshoeing and up at the hot springs - so we didn't spend our days in the loft, but we definitely could have. Next time, we'll try to stay longer!
