Secluded place in San Pancho.

Marii boutique hotel it’s enchanted and away from traffic and peoples’ noise. This a perfect place to enjoy a gateway. Food is delicious and service is very good. We were totally satisfied.

Even though smoking is not allowed inside the hotel property, in my opinion, this restriction should be extended to 20 feet away from main entrance. Some people go outside for a smoke but close to the main entrance so the smoke carries inside the dining area, which is uncomfortable for people dining.

Heerlijk hotel! Goed gelegen ten opzichte van het kleine centrum, het is een aangename wandeling van 10 minuten naar de zee. Het is er rustig, schoon en fris. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar smaakvol ingericht. En groot genoeg. Personeel is super vriendelijk

We enjoyed our stay & would recommend the Marii.

Beautiful, lush, quiet courtyard for sitting just outside your door. Beautiful little pool. The room was cozy & clean. The staff, Esteban, Meli & JP were wonderful! Such kind people when my husband ended up in the hospital!

A fridge in the room would have been nice. Bathroom is not a separate room (just 3/4 wall of bamboo). Bathroom lighting is poor. Needs a light over the mirror.

Lovely stay, I'd highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Marii Hotel! Beautiful setting, helpful and friendly staff, quiet location but not far from restaurants, shops and the beach. We also loved the food and drinks at the restaurant. I'd highly recommend!

It made our honeymoon unforgettable.

The food was exceptional. Fresh and nutritious. The location is great, close to everything. Walking distance to the beach. Safe place. Parking with security cameras. The place is gorgeous, every detail is thought through carefully and the staff and owners are warm, friendly and genuine.

We hated that we had to leave.

My stay was very peaceful and pleasant.

The hotel is just perfect! It’s a jungle vibe with a pool in the middle where all the 8 rooms meet. The staff was excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Very big thank you to Mariana and Esteban and (Argentinian girl). We felt welcomed and you guys made us feel at home. The rooms were very clean and the king size bed very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every morning. The cafe at the entrance serves the most delicious breakfast. Thank you for Esteban for your restaurant recommendations and thank you to Mariana for finding us the best beach clubs to enjoy our day. The service was 11/10. Thank you for making our stay amazing.

There is one room under the kitchen area which was given to me at first. The AC started making a weird noise at night and around 5:30am when the staff is preparing the kitchen you can hear everything. The next morning the staff was very quick to resolve the issue. They changed my room and sent a technician to fix the AC the the first room. I have zero complaints!

Exceptional

The location was perfect! Far enough out of town for it to be peaceful and quiet and a close enough walk into town and beach (7 mins). the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. room was simple and so comfortable. great privacy with the greenery outside every room and relaxing in the pool was our favorite thing to do in the hot afternoon. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would stay again!

The reviews are all true! An absolute gem in San Pancho- loved every moment. From the warm welcome & beautiful, clean room, to the gorgeous tropical setting and epic food - this place is not to be missed! The staff is very kind & helpful (thx Esteban!) and the location makes for as a quiet oasis with quick access to town & beach. Gracias por todo!

when we arrived at the Mari hotel after a long travel day - we were rather aggressively asked to cancel our booking.com and pay hotel direct. We were offered an incentive of a free breakfast as well if we paid them direct . I felt very uncomfortable - a. Cause it was a long travel day ( from Australia) and wanted to go to our room and b. It felt a bit shady and c. When we said we had already paid direct to booking.com and couldn’t get refund etc - they persisted. it made us feel uncomfortable and certainly not the right thing. They were persistent. Our family use booking.com and are very satisfied with the service.

I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful hotel, perfectly relaxing vacation experience. We were lucky enough to stay for a whole week and we can’t wait to be back. The staff, Esteban and Sophie, everyone, all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy!

Excellent small low-key luxury Mexican hotel with a great staff. A good match for San Pancho.

Charming low-key small hotel. The small T-shaped pool outside our room was great for a cooling dip, but not for swimming. All that we needed. Antonio and Sofia are delightful and make us feel like locals. Marii is known for its breakfast and lunch and the restaurant sits above the rooms with lovely garden views. O, and the gardens are amazing. Beautiful tropical blooming ferns, palms and trees. San Pancho is a more relaxed, bohemian and authentic destination than PV or large resorts. It is reflected in the locals and foreign visitors. We loved it.

A small refrigerator would have been nice, but they offer a cooler and ice, which you can take to the beach too.

the breakfast was fabulous, served in a beautiful dining room . I felt like I was in Tuscany with all the flowers and greenery. the pool was very nice and the location excellent, a little out of the busyness of the main road.

Perfection!

Where to start! It’s such a well-designed boutique hotel. Only a small number of rooms ensures it’s a quiet, tranquil place to stay, and the dense plant life makes the courtyard by the pool feel like you’re in a jungle paradise. The staff went above and beyond - really couldn’t speak more highly of the service we received! And finally the restaurant. Great coffee, fantastic food, all from a breezy open air setting overlooking the town. 10/10.

Good hotel but with terrible checkout policy

Well located. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very noisy at night but we got used to it after the 2nd night. On checking out, we had to wait in the reception until they checked our room to see we hadn't stolen or wrecked anything. Never in my life have I been treated that way.

Beautiful boutique with friendly people and great food.

Verdant setting with nice rooms and the pool is a lifesaver on hotter days. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The cafe is some of the best breakfast in San Pancho.

If privacy is your priority, this may not be the place for you. It's a bit of an intimate setting and it was pretty easy to hear our neighbours talking in their rooms. Also, rooms don't come with a fridge or cooler... some way to keep drinks/fruit/etc cold in the room would have been really nice.

Lovely staff, room can use some layout improvements but it was very clean and everything worked well.

A very Zen-like property. The staff is incredible! We are finding that almost all beach hotels are charging USA prices. The nightly rate is a bit higher than the property warranted. The bed was comfortable, pillows too large. Mot all amenities were there for a higher priced hotel. The bathroom was very big and perhaps part of this space should have been made into a closet with shelves. We lived out of our suitcase the whole time as there were only 5 hangers on the one available rod. The futon is not made for sitting on. A big slant that made use of it difficult. Patio chairs were not comfortable. Wi-Fi in the room was worse than the cafe Wi-Fi. The cafe staff and food was excellent! We love the whole staff and was super accommodating , and always smiling but there could be improvements with regards to the room and corresponding price point.
