Moose Hideaway brings the beauty of the outdoors inside; the gracious layout finds serene details echoing the natural splendor surrounding the five-bedroom home. There are three master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to make this an easy destination for families to gather. There are also two living areas upstairs and downstairs that leads to a adult and kid zone very easily. The house has the latest technology with access to 5G network throughout as well as Apple TV, Google mini's and full choice of cable programming on each TV in every bedroom.
Moose Hideway envelopes guests long before they step foot inside: The spacious entry porch presents a bench respite, and rustic barn wood flanks the entrance.
The foyer, marked by flagstone, flows into the open-floor plan perched amid the fir trees. A floor to ceiling window greets you as you enter. The first bedroom to the left of the front door, a retreat outfitted with a king sized bed, flat-screen TV, wood-paneling and bath with a large tiled shower. Continue on to the second master suite with its glimpse of valley views, framed by the forest. A plush duvet covers the king bed, backed by a leather-paneled headboard piled with beautiful accent pillows. The suite encompasses a walk-in closet and large master bath with custom cabinets, a sink, tile shower and bench.
Across the foyer, the living room blends contemporary aesthetics with Western warmth: rustic, barn-wood paneling lines the walls and exposed beams fly above. A pair of textured sofas dialogue with two leather armchairs around matching stone-topped tables a cowhide rug in the primary seating area. Nearby, an iconic chaise with a leather sofa provides a retreat to read a book or have a separate conversation between the fireplace and a lamp-lit console for quiet contemplation of a cowboy lithograph. The three-sided fireplace warms both the living room and the adjoining dining room, where a stone-inlayed dining table comfortably seats eight to ten beneath a chandelier of votives.
The neighboring gourmet kitchen boats a built-in charcoal grill, granite counter-tops, custom cabinetry, a double-basin porcelain sink, and a stove island. A breakfast area offers banquette seating for four as well as three chairs, and a built-in desk lends convenience with a charging station for phones and a bluetooth speaker to share your favorite music anywhere in the house. The kitchen overflows onto the deck, where a Weber gas grill, a dining table and eight chairs encourage outdoor entertaining.
Just off the kitchen is a laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. The mudroom with dual entrances from the two-car garage and front porch. Its cubbies, a ski rack and coat hooks and commercial boot dryer make winter disrobing easy. A powder room and hall closet round out the main-level amenities. Art enlivens every room.
Downstairs offers even more living areas, with a second family room with a large floor to ceiling window overlooking the forest that features a game table for four, armchairs, two large couches, a 55'" flat-screen TV and entertainment system, including Blue-ray player for access to guests' internet accounts. An indoor hot tub feels outdoors with its surrounding walls of windows but is easy to access off the family room. This bonus living space is complete with an additional 3/4 bath.
Lower level sleeping quarters look out onto the forest and include 3 bedrooms. The first downstairs bedroom, just to the right of the stairs, presents two twins topped by woolen bedspreads and backed by wrought-iron headboards. A second bedroom features two sets of built-in captain bunks. A detached bath caters to both bedrooms with its tile shower and tub and double vanity.
Across the living area from the west wing is the third master bedroom, which boasts a king bed with its wood headboard, duvet and leather-covered bench anchoring the bed's foot. A matching console and upholstered armchair accent the room, and the walk-in closet leads to the bathroom with its marble counter-top and tile shower and tub.
All told, the Moose Hideaway pairs serene elegance with nature immersion.
*Please note, gatherings greater than the maximum occupancy are not permitted in this property.
Mountain weather is variable and unpredictable. Resort conditions and ski access may be weather and snow dependent.

Perfect house! Perfect location! Our first family vacation with our adult children and significant partners, including one recently married. Loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The late nighters enjoyed playing UNO downstairs and the early-to-bed enjoyed the main level bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. Short walk to Teton Village to enjoy the sunset and all its restaurants. Great location to get to all our activities in the area from horseback riding, rafting and ATV’ing. Truly a memorable vacation!

We chose this house for a multigenerational, blended family vacation. The pictures don't do it justice - the house is big and clean. It's professionally managed, so every question we asked was immediately answered. Check out was the easiest I've seen - only locking up, throwing away open food, and leaving used towels on bathroom floors. No stripping sheets or doing laundry. The layout was perfect - there are three bedrooms downstairs: a king ensuite room; a bedroom with two singles; and a bedroom with two twin-over-full bunks (i.e. four beds). There are two additional full bathrooms downstairs, but they're not ensuite (which actually allowed our four kids to share both, so it was easier.). The house is built into a mountainside, so the downstairs did not feel like a basement because it had full sized and in some cases floor-to-ceiling windows. There's also a family area downstairs, so our kids were able to hang out there and we stayed downstairs with our four kids. My parents and brother stayed upstairs in the two king ensuite bedrooms, and there was another seating area upstairs where the adults in the family were able to hang out. Location was great- just outside Grand Teton National Park and about 30 minutes from Jackson. We would stay here again.

Second time staying as the house has been great for 3 families and we really enjoy the location and communication from the property owners

There were 10 of us in town for the wedding of dear friends. The house provided the perfect place for everyone to gather and go off to explore the beautiful area. Most of the time was spent in the wonderful spacious kitchen and out on the deck. More than enough room for everyone. We came as friends and left as family. Thank you for sharing your residence.

The property worked great for our family. We had an amazing vacation exploring the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole. It was definitely a trip to remember. The house was very comfortable.

So perfect for a group of 12 ladies - the kitchen and living room were perfect for hanging out together. The walk into the village was great for mornings in which everyone woke up at different times. Would definitely stay again!

We were 3 families with kids and appreciated the space and layout of this home.
Pros:
many bathrooms so each family had their own. “kids” room with 2 double bunks allowed all the big kids to stay together
Walk in closet space accommodated a pack and play
Kitchen suited our needs and isn’t the focal point of the house (ie many other lounging areas for people to congregate)
Proximity to Teton village to go out if we wanted
Cons
Moose Wilson road closures led to tons of traffic - would check our access before booking next time. But with that road open, location is perfect
The house doesn’t have much outdoor space so the bottom floor became the lair of the kids which meant one adult couple had to be there with them. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue in the winter and we started going to Teton village to let the kids run around on the grass, splash pad, and playground
We didn’t use the hot tub much bc it was pretty warm the week we stayed. Fortunately the home cooled nicely at night; even without AC we were very comfortable.

House was described accurately and great location. A little dated in the kitchen + range didn't work (note: we did see new one in the garage ready to go in but we didn't get a discount). Fireplace didn't draw consistently and regularly smoked out the main level. Property manager communication was terrible with JH Resort not helping us with some travel date changes; but, overall we'd rent again. Jackson Hole is the best.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a perfect location walkable to the slopes and skiable back (along the road).

Very nice house, just outside Jackson, in a quiet neighborhood. It was very well stocked with towels & kitchen amenities. We loved the indoor grill & used it almost every night. My only compalint is there isn't a vent for the cooktop so it was a challenge not to set the smoke alarm off daily. If you don't intend to cook much, it won't be an issue for you.

Moose Hideaway is located in Teton Village with many shops and restaurants nearby. There are 3 "master" bedrooms with private baths. Great for adult groups but plenty of room for kids, too. Well equipped kitchen.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend 5 nights for our daughter’s destination wedding!! So spacious…all the amenities we needed! We saw deer, moose, and a bear from our living room window!! Definitely recommend!

We had a great time staying at this property. The communication was always timely, and the property managers are very responsive. Everything was clean, well prepared, and well kept. Everybody in my party had a great time. The location of the house is amazing. And all details, from pillows to mattresses, to utensils are well appointed.
One curious thing is that we had mice. We were not prepared for that the first day. When we brought this up with property management, they were super responsive, and sent people to set up mouse traps. But these mice seem to be quite adept! :-) There is a place from near the refrigerator they come (a pipe/shaft of some kind) and expertly side-step the mouse traps placed right on their way. The mice antics became a joke in our family for the week :-)

Nice location. The house layout is a little quirky but would be great for a ski group. Needs some updating. Lots of moths flying around inside the house. All in all an okay stay.

Great time, great location, classic stay, great property management
Classic Mountain House. We went during summer but this place is also the perfect ski house. Very close to lifts and village but nicely secluded. Hey, if you like Moose walking through the back yard book it!

Surprised that there was no air conditioning. And it wasn’t very clear prior to our trio.

Perfect place for our extended family
We had a group of 10 family members ranging from ages 8 to 64, and this house was perfect for all of us. Teton Village is such a beautiful community, and soooo convenient to the national parks and the town of Jackson. The common areas - upstairs and downstairs living rooms, dining room, kitchen, and deck were perfect for just a few or the whole group. The bedroom sizes were good. The house was very well appointed with the necessities - at no time did anyone say “ I wish they’d provided…” everything we needed and expected was there. We had one very small water leak (an outside fixture that caused a small wet area in one downstairs bedroom) that was immediately and efficiently corrected. Everyone at Jackson Hole Rental management was extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all, at the end of our stay, all agreed it was our best vacation ever - and it was our first with this particular group. That wouldn’t have been possible without the perfect “home base.”

Hot tub was really dirty and we could not get the heater to turn down or off.
We look for a place with a nice hot tube to soak our legs in after skiing. It was very disappointing that it was so dirty

Great location with plenty of room
5 couples for a week stayed at this property. Love that everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking. The heated floors in the bathrooms was a bonus. The closets were set up for long stays. The deck was lovely for chatting with friends and having a glass of wine. We grilled out a couple of nights and found a mule deer in the side yard one morning.

Older Home with Great Bones and Character
We stayed at Moose Hideaway for a 7-person / 4-day ski outing in Jackson Hole. I recommend this home based on its location (2-3 minute drive to village base) and "authenticity." All of our group enjoyed the house as a place meant to be lived in and enjoyed by groups around the fire in the living room, in adjacent but "separate" dining area, breakfast nook and/or in the lower level media room. While parts of the house have received more modern renovations (notably a few bedrooms and bathrooms), overall the house is older and may not suit those who want completely renovated or new amenities. In addition, the house lacks dramatic mountain views as it is nestled into the neighborhood of homes along the side of the mountain village. Notwithstanding these shortcomings, the house somehow has a certain personality and "soul" that makes it warm and intimate.

Transcendent House!!
What an amazing, super place! Three nights of incredible memories in an astonishing house. The house was spacious, clean, and location was convenient as can be. It was so great that, pardon the pun, but it’s all downhill from here!

Early Ski Season Stay
I rented this house for myself and 7 of my ski/snowboard friends. There was ample space, everything was in good working condition and the fireplace was AMAZING! We would definitely rent this home again.

Very nice older traditional house among the wooded hillside of Teton Village
The house was very spacious and had a decent flow for a large group. Lots of trees and understory brush keep the house hidden from close by neighbors. Its a short walk down a steep hill to the very bustling and growing Teton Village.
The hot tub which is indoors, is a very new model and is comfortable and worked very well. Great kitchen, indoor and an out door grill with large outdoor patio seating.
This house is a little older and the only draw back we saw to this was that the walls and floors do not have proper sound insulation. You can her footsteps and voices pretty clearly in the next room over and if you are in the basement, any traffic above seems to disrupt them.(mornings and late nighters) I am not sure if all the homes are like this, and it may not even be an issue for super close knit groups who are all on the same routine. There were a few maintenance items that need to be addressed which i will point out directly to the management group.
Over all its a great house. As you know, its very expensive to stay out here in the village, so my radar was more keen than normal and my expectations are high when spending over a 1K on any house.
The management staff was exceptional, fielding calls and questions pertaining to the house. They made it a very easy and smooth check in. It was a very good piece of mind knowing there was an agency willing to help, only a phone call away.
