Little Orchard is charming, comfortable and enchanting. Its located on a quiet residential street but only a short walk to everything Chipping Campden has to offer, which is considerable. We particularly enjoyed the easy walk to the town's restaurants, and to pick up take-away from Tokes, Fillet & Bone or Da Luigi. The owner was incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had (which were few), and the welcoming package of goodies was the best we've had in all our travels. The Cotswolds possess abundant natural beauty and this is the best place to enjoy it.

Little Orchard is a stunning and cozy cottage in the perfect Cotswolds location. Maggie’s incredible attention to detail from furnishings and instructions to arrival goodies did not go unnoticed.
Maggie was the best host I have ever dealt with in my many travels. I will definitely be returning. ❤️

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. It was a perfect location, a quick walk from shops and restaurants, and very close to the Cotswolds Way and other footpaths. The kitchen was fully equipped and we loved the jam cake the host left for us!

The photos of this home look great. The actuality is even better. We were so happy and comfortable there for a week in June. My bed was so cozy, the layout of the home is wonderful, it is clean and beautifully decorated. I think if I have to give any word of warning is that because it is older restored home, ceilings are low. My husband, who is 6’1”. Had to duck in places. The home probably would not work for someone 6’5” or over. If you are not that tall, you could not do better. This home is great😊

Absolutely charming and well appointed! Maggie’s attention to detail is very apparent and her special touches appreciated. The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. Spent the week walking the many paths so accessible and Chipping Camden a delight

This is the best rental property I've ever stayed in. It's even better than the pictures. I have a discerning eye for design and attention to detail, and I was impressed!
The quality of the property was equally matched by the host's hospitality. She was extremely responsive, and the little goodies and extras she left for us was the kindest touch that made us feel very welcome.

From the furnishings to the location, this is the perfect place to feel like a character in any of the countless books, shows, or movies that made you want to visit the Cotswolds in the first place. The host, Maggie, provided lots of helpful information, and the home was thoughtfully stocked. You will never want to leave.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Orchard Cottage. Maggie had lovely breakfast provisions for us along with a homemade Victorian sponge cake and the kitchen had all the spices and extras you might need to cook. It was short walk to the main street with all the pubs and shops. Beautiful decor! Two fireplaces were most welcome, one in dining room and one in living room during our March stay. We highly recommend and I would love the opportunity to stay there again but for a longer visit.

The property was exactly as charming and welcoming as advertised. It has everything we needed as a family of four. Easy access to groceries and dining without a car. What I hoped for in my head when I planned the trip is exactly what we received. Cannot recommend highly enough. Maggie was great to work with. She recommended the taxi service that took us from the train station, and she texted regularly to see if we needed anything. Well worth it if you'd like to visit Chipping Campden.

You look at the photo of this cottage and hope that it can be this perfect. And it turns out to somehow be even more than that. Ideal location in a gorgeous village you won’t want to leave. Excellent base for when you do venture out for so many of those Cotswolds attractions. Loved this place and its hosts and cannot wait to return!

We spent two weeks over Christmas and New Year’s and had a magical stay. The cottage was everything it said it would be and we immediately felt at home. Weather was chilly which we expected and coming from Arizona we relished the climate change. But what was best of all was coming in from the cold to the warm, cozy and welcoming cottage. Wonderful cottage, fabulous town and highly recommend a visit.

Little Orchard Cottage is a delight! It is charming, quaint and centrally located (5 minute walk to High Street, shops, pubs) in Chipping Campden. Importantly, it has all modern amenities (excellent shower, plenty of hot water, zippy WiFi, lovely linens, a nice kitchen, etc.) without sacrificing any of the qualities of a centuries old thatched roof cottage in the Cotswolds. The master bedroom is large and has plenty of storage for a week’s stay or longer. The second bedroom, with an en suite bathroom, is a little smaller and also has plenty of storage. We spent several evenings in front of the fire in the living room with both the guidebooks and novels that came with the house and enjoyed the views of the well-tended and lovely gardens. As we entered the house and familiarized ourselves, we exclaimed, “this is what we hoped for!”
As with visits anywhere, the host makes the visit and Maggie was a dream. From the tasty goodies she left us, to the fresh flowers, to the immaculate cleanliness of the house, we felt welcomed and valued as her guests. But it was on a rainy Sunday that Maggie really showed how a host can make a vacation. On a local trip our car was broken into and my wife’s purse, and the house key, were stolen. Maggie responded quickly got us back into the house and out of the rain. As we sorted out this potential trip-killer, Maggie was sympathetic and helpful and very responsive to our calls.
This is a delightful place and we recommend it highly!

We had a wonderful time at Little Orchard Cottage. It was the quintessential Cotwolds experience. The house is beautifully decorated while still maintaining its cozy charm. Loved the location and being able to walk into town for dinners and shopping. Maggie was a fantastic host, all of the arrival treats and thoughtful touches throughout the house made it extra special. Hope to return some day!

The cottage is cozy, atmospheric and nicely upgraded. We appreciated the literature that was provided giving us good suggestions for walks and local restaurants. The “star of the show” for us was the location. The cottage is close to the center of Chipping Campden, a few minutes walk, but is nicely tucked away on a very quiet street - one direction leads to the High Street and the other directly to the Cotswolds Way trail. We wanted to get a sense of what it would be like to live in a Cotswolds village and the cottage style and location worked perfectly for our little fantasy.

The Little Orchard Cottage is perfection! Amazing location, a few minutes walk into town but with well-cared for gardens in the front and back to relax while listening to the sounds of the countryside. The interior of the cottage is out of a fairytale - adorable, cozy, incredibly clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The host provided us with fresh bread, croissants, local eggs, a homemade pastry, and sherry. It was such a thoughtful touch! We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to returning there one day.

You will see mostly (if not all) five-star reviews here - with good reason. This property is extraordinary! Beautifully renovated and maintained, and located in the most charming community, this property is straight out of a storybook. We have stayed in perhaps 15 VRBO listed properties around the world, some really exceptional, and this ranks in our top three - maybe even one or two. I can’t say enough good things about it!

We had the absolute best time. I don’t know where to start on how much we have loved everything about this wonderful cottage. I am a lover of design and appreciated every designer touch, as well as everything the owner has done to make guests comfortable. We have truly felt like this is our home away from home. The bedding and towels are wonderful and made us feel like we were sleeping in luxury. We enjoyed all of the goodies left for us in the kitchen and had many pleasant afternoons in the back garden. The village of Chipping Campden is so special. We ate at almost every restaurant and found the food to be so good and the people to be so friendly. (The Bantam Tea Room, Michael’s Mediterranean, the Eight Bells, pizza at Da Luigi, and Huxley’s were great. We discovered the Sunday roast at the Lygon Arms and believed we had died and gone to Heaven!!) My friend and I made such priceless memories and this wonderful home and Maggie’s hospitality made that possible.

It’s beautifully decorated, cosy, very clean and so convenient to many wonderful restaurants (Maggie provides a list of restaurants and local attractions which we felt was so helpful with planning out trip )and pubs which are in walking distance and an easy drive to other local villages. You feel spoiled upon arrival as Maggie provides you with a wonderful welcome gift of delicious treats. The Victoria sponge was a hit! Thank you Maggie you are the consummate hostess.
