Amazing location with an excellent rooftop restaurant
4.0
the location and the wonderful view out our windows. Breakfast was also lovely.
Very noisy late at night with street noise & scraping of chairs from the restaurant above. The bathroom needs an update as it’s got a poor design and layout…no storage or bench space for toiletries & the shower was tiny and not very functional. Some of the front desk staff didn’t speak any English with makes it hard to communicate with the guests who are tourists

After reading some of the reviews, I was nervous about the noise but they have added extra doors to the balcony and window, so there was no noise at all. It is central, close to the port and had a beautiful view. There are some stairs to the property, but we managed. At check-in we did see someone who could help with the bags, so would be worth discussing that ahead of time if you need assistance. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great for what we needed.
The only thing we would say, is it would be nice to have a kettle in the room for teas and coffees in the morning.

location opposite the beautiful Duomo de Amalfi (church) is so central to everything (shops, ferries, buses). we loved our time there. staff are very accomodating. Room was very clean and comfortable.
A kettle and cups would have been a good addition.

location
the bathroom had a bad smell and it was quite noisy in the morning

Beautiful view, excellent breakfast, great location a stones throw from the duomo. Be aware ,if arriving in your own auto- you will need to park at the port parking or make other arrangements. 8 minutes walk from that lot. Was told not to use the lot nearer the round-about if staying overnight because the tour busses park/turn around there - and if your car is still there at 7 am they will tow it.

The location is excellent. The room was compact but had everything that we needed. The restaurant was lovely.
The breakfast was quite basic. The hotel and rooms are all up stairs with no lift.

It was wonderful! we booked two rooms since there were 4 of us. the rooms were clean and easy to use. shampoo and soap were available. they provided toothbrush upon request. the water was warm and had good pressure. the hotel does not offer help with luggage but they’re is a porter service available during the day for €10/luggage - we only found out about this bec the airlines lost our luggages and eventually delivered to hotel and Michela told us the porter service is €10/bag. I assume if you want this service you must inform the hotel ahead of time. AnnaMaria welcomed us with a lot of useful information. she also got help for us and our luggages. also, the next morning she also served us bfast after working all night! Michela was easy to work with booking our transfers, even last minute! the free bfast: I had read it doesn’t j kc U’re a whole lot but for us, it included everything they had…the meats, cheese, hot choc, bread…all served while enjoying the frontal view of the duomo. overall, wonderful stay.
my only complaint is the noise people made at night…motorcycles, breaking bottles and yelling, playing ball. whoever is causing these nuisance should really understand that their main livelihood is tourism and should really try not to drive tourists away. the noises made felt intentional - you could hear all this despite windows being closed. I am not decreasing Hotel rating asked on this as it’s not the hotel’s fault.

Location is perfect
The room was clean but all the towels during our stay had stains like they were used and dirty. They smell like vinegar and not clean and fresh. Both towels and bed linen have poor quality.
At the breakfast, they asked what coffee we would like and offered us some bread, croissants and donuts but not very fresh. The buffet includes only one kind of cheese and one of salami, muesli, corn flakes with milk and sliced fruits. You can choose from a list if you want yogurt with flavour or plain and the kind of juice. The breakfast is poor with very limited choices but you can pay extra to have pancakes or scrambled eggs.
Also note that they asked 3€/day/person/cash only, extra for taxes that they were not included in our prepayment, while in the invoice of our reservation it said that all taxes were included.

Breakfast was great, with views over Duomo. Room was modern and clean, bed comfy. Great central spot to explore amalfi. Generally we liked our stay at Terrazza Duomo.
Quite some noise during the night/ morning. Cleaner brought ear plugs for the third night. Shower had weak pressure.

The view from the breakfast room is amazing, the rooms are clean and quiet.
At the entrance to the breakfast room stood several open rubbish bins. What better way to spoil the breakfast experience.

Great staff and location. Michelle especially was very helpful. She helped us upgrade our room and was very friendly.

location, quality
getting luggage up stairs as older travelers was difficult.
4.5
Fantastic location, beautiful, clean - rooms were cleaned daily, very helpful staff and the restaurant upstairs was incredible. A lot of reviews mention how noisy the rooms are but we didn’t have an issue at all.
Nothing - but be warned if booking through booking.com. Booking.com make it clear that the payment includes ‘all taxes’ and the invoice states ‘city tax’ as being paid. However the hotel request this in cash as you leave (which is normal in European countries). Its a shame booking.com don’t make this clear.

Our host at the reception was extremely helpful. She guided us for navigating the city well. The hotel is located right at the Duomo and you can feel the buzz from your balcony directly. It's just a few staircases upstairs and bang! You are there. They allowed us to keep our bags at their reception and we're flexible for check-in check-out.

The view was amazing and also the location perfect

Location was great. close to ferry and bus station
A little noisy with a few guests going or coming from rooftop restaurant but ww were expecting worse based on other reviews but it wasn’t too bad.
(I’m not sure if it was because they weren’t too busy on the nights we stayed compared to when those other reviews were posted)
I’d recommend the hotel.

The location of this hotel was great - a short walk to busses and ferries. The view of the Duomo was amazing and the rooms clean and modern with an italian twist.
I loved everything
