Reasonably priced hotel in great location

Great location for our stay. North Hykeham railway station nearby for travelling in to Lincoln and no charge for parking the car!

It was a bit dated and tired rooms could have been cleaner.

On arrival at reception we was met by Lewis whom was very friendly, checking in was a breeze and was given information about the the hotel, eating, drinking including contacting staff if any problems, we had arrived early evening as we had been to truckfest at the showground that day and enquired about getting food Lewis explained that they were quite busy, explained that when we were ready to eat to come down and he would sort a table for us. Lewis kept his word and we were sat down eating within 30 minutes of arriving at the venue. The family room was lovely, very spacious and clean, the beds beds really comfy and plenty of pillows 😁. I would definitely recommend staying here and this will be our go to stop-over when we come back for truckfest next year.

Staying here will get you out of trouble if you need a bed for the night however they is Breyer places to book

The beds are comfy and the overall building is pleasing to the eye

Very enjoyable in a lovely but tired hotel

Good size room, facilities good for the price . Staff in hotel and restaurant friendly Breakfast good quality, evening meal quick, quality and portions as expected in a corporate house. Drink prices very good. Overall very satisfied for what was paid.

Hotel bedrooms are tired and management must know this. Maintenance jobs could still be done though ie: toilet roll holder barely hanging on bits missing on laminate etc... No orange juice on both mornings at breakfast no sausages on second day...This is Lincoln home of the sausage, poor chef ordering. Cold plates for breakfast..I get it, control has to be maintained over people helping themselves but a warm plate is nice for hot food. Poor layout of toaster and drinks, crossing over to do both. This is an observation not a complaint.

Overall a good stay for one night travelling back from Yorkshire to Surrey

Room 3 was large and spacious with decent shower. Little noisy with window open but not a big problem. Good TV. Breakfast was good although plates were a bit old and traces of food on the underside from not proper dishwasher clean. Plenty of food otherwise but no marmalade for toast. Staff helpful and pleasant. Good parking

Unable to find very easily with post code or sat nav. Found eventually using a garden centre opposite on Google maps.

Exceptional

Hotel was exceptional. All the staff in the hotel and restaurant were super friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also amazing. I asked if they had any Veggie sausages available, and they went and cooked me some fresh. We had a carvery in the evening which was also very tasty and great value for money.

The property was as expected , check in was smooth and the facilities were good, room was very clean

We are a Younger couple who booked a double room who were separated by a a single wooden door next to the bed from another family ,. This said family were extremely noisy and this in turn unsettled up all night and we ended up in fact checking out the hotel early as we couldn’t tolerate it any longer. Had we not been in what appeared to be a family room separated by a door this may have been a different matter

Arrival/check-in was fine

The shower was cold. I mentioned this on the next morning Nothing was done. I left a note at reception the day after but nothing was done. The breakfast on the first day there was no milk so I was told to open a few sachets, perfect!

There to decompress after a working trip away and it was just what was needed.

Comfortable and the staff were brilliant from the lady at reception to the lady’s keeping things clean and tidy and all at the bar/restaurant.

Average but not too bad

The room was spacious. The cleaner ladies were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was clean. We really liked having a coffee table and two armchairs to relax in instead of having to sit on the bed or a dining chair for a coffee.

There's no staff on site apart from 2pm for check in for an hour. We wanted some local knowledge and a number for a taxi etc and there is nobody around at all. The rooms are tired (no fault of the cleaning staff). The heating is far too hot throughout the whole hotel, it was unnecessary at 26 degrees. The bath was very flimsy and as it's an overhead shower it felt like you were going to put your foot through the bath if you moved when you stood up. It is a long way from Lincoln centre. Cost £19 in a taxi. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the dual carriageway but we never had an issue even with the window open to cool the room down a bit.

Nice location, good comfortable stay

Cooked breakfast lovely although chaos on the Sunday morning. Things running out and not enough staff. Not keen on filter coffee, tastes stewed and only lukewarm. Continental items were lacking. Need to offer juices, croissants, muffins, fruit salad and yoghurts. Would not have been happy if paid for continental only.

I booked bed and breakfast and paid before hand when I got to windmill farm I got told I needed to pay but had got bed and breakfast booked I explained I had paid and showed my receipt but still had to pay for breakfast as it was payment for the bed only which was £70 for 1 night. I don’t mind paying £70 for bed and breakfast but the breakfast cost another £20

Great location. Unhelpful receptionist.

Location. On site restaurant. Good breakfast.

We had pre-requested a room as far away from the function room as there was a loud function on, which we were pre-warned about. Our room was directly above the entertainment even though There were plenty of rooms further away. The receptionist told us all the rooms were above the function room which was not the case. We were kept awake by the extremely loud music.
