Perfect hotel for a mini break in London

The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip; very convenient and really close to the nearest tube station (Angel). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt and efficient. The hotel was very clean. The Christmas decorations were classy and it felt lovely and festive. Breakfast was great; plenty of choice.

Perfect choice, excellent service

Nice, clean and quiet room, clean bathroom, excellent breakfast with wide offer, kind, helpfull staff. Location was great for our trip purpose (family visit to Warner Bros. Harry Potter making so view across the street + just one station from King´s Cross and two stations from Euston), but would fit to others as well due to great transport availability (placed almost next to underground station and bus stops) and walking distance f.e. to St. Paul’s is not bad either. Reccomend.

Room okay, but Hilton should be ashamed of the experience, poor example of what the UK can do.

The room was okay, clean and comfortable. But nothing special. There was no fresh milk in the room, only UHT and only two tea bags. I asked reception for fresh milk, but just got more UHT. When I asked again they said I had to contact room service or come and get some from the cafe. There was also some guests in another room having a massive row at 3.00 am. I expected security to intervene, but they just kept going.

The breakfast was shocking for a professional hotel, and for the price paid. First, it was chaos. Long queues, and the staff were generally pretty stressed and glum looking. One of two coffee machines were not working, and the coffee was like bilge. We has to go elsewhere to get a decent coffee. I'm surprised Hilton cant organise an excellent coffee, it seems so basic. The quality of the food in the breakfast was poor. The UK has some fantastic foods, which Hilton could showcase given the number of tourists. But they seem to have decided to go cheap. Cheap sausages, bacon, soggy scrambled eggs. There was avocado on toast on the menu, which we asked for but they couldn't provide it. The whole experience was shabby unprofessional and frankly we couldnt wait to get away.

A localização do hotel é boa, próximo a estação de trem King Cross / St Pancras International. As camas são confortáveis.

Acho que é uma questão geral e cultural de Londres, porém a avaliação quanto a estadia é que os funcionários são pouco solicitos, falam o inglês britânico de forma rápida, não demonstrando interesse em se comunicar de forma mais confortável para os viajantes. Falta atenção quanto ao número de toalhas conforme a quantidade de hóspedes nos quartos, sendo necessário solicitarmos mais toalhas todos os dias. A limpeza não é boa, os utensílios para aquecer água todos muito sujos. A banheira muito estreita e a água do chuveiro fica sempre acumulada, pois a vazão do ralo é muito lenta. O vazo com aspecto sujo, encardido, no fundo. Pelo preço pago e por ser um hotel Hilton, acho que deveriam reformar a qualidade ou readequar os preços.

No Surprises, most of the standard met

Small room, no help with luggages even when asked for the reception lady intentionally ignored the request for help. Could train staff not to be too cruel when guests occasionally need luggage assistance supports.

It is a bit overpriced for what you’re getting but overall a nice stay.

The location was great, pretty clean room too.

You would expect for complimentary water bottles from a 4 stars hotel in London, which weren’t provided. The refrigerator in the room was empty which is a shame as we’re used to have a mini bar in the room. The staff never asked us how was our flight when we checked in or how was our stay when we checked out, which is basically hospitality 101 in my opinion. The breakfast was quite basic (almost no veggies at all and one type of cheese, for example).

櫃檯人員態度很差，打電話到櫃台4-5通都沒人接聽。入住4晚，剛入住時，垃圾桶旁的地毯有明顯髒污，浴缸沒有塞子，給了塞子但是浴缸放水後，水壓讓塞子無法拿起，因為沒有鏈子可以把塞子拉起，要自己想辦法拿起塞子放水，才能讓下一個人泡澡，第二天早上就跟櫃台反應後，說會幫忙換房，但接下來沒有任何回應。房間壁紙有破損。不理解Hilton’s Standard，在這裡除了價格以外，感受不到服務的態度。

Disappointed in this hotel and its poor customer care

Room layout, fridge, wardrobe size

No hand soap, asked for a refill and got extra moisturiser instead, no room cleaning (2 nights stay) so no top ups of anything, clean towels, bed making etc. Not good value for money, disappointing for a Hilton.

Good stay in a clean, comfortable hotel.

Nice room, plenty of space, 2 beds, affordable price for London. Room has AC and a large bathroom too. The bar downstairs is good. Well located with plenty of food/drink opportunities nearby, the canal, and a direct access to King X in 15 minutes (perfect for the Eurostar).

We got a room next to the elevators so it was a bit noisy, but nothing too bad. Had a good night of sleep anyway.

Beware of the air-conditioning automatic turn off

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable

It was important for me to be able to have the A/C on at night but I realised that it was automatically turned off every 2 hours. This means that I went to sleep with a nice temperature but woke up after few hours because it was too warm. I asked staff at reception about this and they said it was because they comply with a low emission scheme but promised me that it will be fixed on my next night. The second night was the same and I had a really bad sleep because of the temperature. If you can only use the A/C for 2 hours before having to switch it back on it should be communicated in advance.

Convenient location

I was irritated that they took a £30 deposit when we checked in. I think this is unreasonable as they already had our debit card details. We made no use of the services of the hotel while we were there. When we left this was not reimbursed there and then. Instead I was told it would be credited to my account in “a few days”. In effect we were forced to lend the hotel our money for an unspecified period of time. This is sharp practice and should not be allowed.

Great location. Amazing service from very polite staff, lovely food, lovely room and very clean. High quality bed linen, towels, toiletries. Cookies were also amazing and a lovely touch!

Air con in room was not very effective. Room was too warm. Our room was opposite the staff service room and we were woken up at 7am by them talking very very loudly outside the room ☹️ Cheap toilet paper.

Un alojamiento muy cómodo para disfrutar unos días en Londres en familia.

Las instalaciones del hotel, la habitación era grande y muy cómoda, con todos los servicios necesarios. Además dispones de un kit de infusiones y cafe que te permite desayunar en la habitación. El personal es de lo más profesional y atento y hacen muy comoda tu estancia. Además el detalle de la cookie de bienvenida es genial, una pena que no haya opción sin gluten. Además esta muy bien comunicado via bus o metro. La estación Angel esta a 5 minutos y andando un poco más llegas con un agradable paseo a King Cross.

Practicamente nada, si bien no está centrico tienes a 10 minutos andando King Cross que el una de las principales estaciones para moverte en metro por Londres. Si llueve, que es habitual ;) tienes otro metro mucho más cerca.

A reasonable stay in a busy part of London.

Room was small but comfortable. Comfortable bed, but as with most London hotels, very thin walls meaning you hear next door's everything. We really liked the different spaces in the reception area and used the bar/ cafe area - this is a great space to have when you're travelling as a group and not sharing a room. The breakfast was also good with decent variety. Reception staff were excellent, polite and friendly and were able to help with a change to my booking. Angel tube station is just round the corner making travel to and from the hotel easy, and the area has plenty of amenities nearby.

Though the bedroom itself was clean, the bathroom was in need of bleaching. There was mould growing between the tiles in the bathroom, the movable shower head was covered in grime, and under the rim of the toilet was very dirty. This was an expensive stay.
