Great location and brilliant staff, room was clean and had all the amenities you would need for a short stay
The room was relatively small but for the price we paid it wasn’t a concern especially for a one night stay
6.0 / 10.0
Well located, not far from the city centre or the dock. The room was clean and of a right size and with all the basics services.
The staff wasn't really friendly and the check in and check out didn't felt well served.

Walkable location, fair room (good shower, bed, etc) and reasonable price.

The pressure in the shower.

The room was OK but no one told us about the ceiling fan was closed. We complained and the staff said they were not allowed to touch it. The room was to hot to sleep there I also had a asthma attack because there was no air at all in the room. The day we were leaving Chloe and her auntie were very nice to me when they were told how I felt.

It was very close to where I was working.
I booked a basement room without a window. I knew what I was getting for my money, I had stayed in the same hotel once before and I remembered a deep night of sleep without any noise or light. This was before covid, maybe the owners have changed.
Room 206 however was a lesson in deprivation torture. Like a Kafka novel, I had no idea who my tormentor was.
It’s a single room, the first thing you notice is the moth eaten raggedy bedding and the damage to door stops and hinges. “I’ve stayed in worse”, I thought. It was then when I realised a constant stream of cold air was coming from the ceiling. An extractor fan is directly above the bed. Not a quiet extractor fan either. Imagine you’re on a flight and the audible constant sound of the engines as they reverberate through the fuselage. That was the noise. Maybe I could turn it off? Nope. Hmmm, this could be off putting when trying to sleep. Cold air and constant noise was then accompanied by a dim blue security light when I turned the lights off. Not the blackout I was expecting. Three nights of disturbed sleep.
There a plenty of un identifiable scuffs and stains on the walls and a cushion on the bed that wouldn’t hold up to black light scrutiny. There is also a second extractor fan directly above the shower that has stains that look like they definitely came from a human’s orifice.
I did ask reception for ear plugs and complained about the noise but was met with a “meh, sorry.”
Cobwebs in the bathroom and a toilet that doesn’t always flush. Then there is the manhole cover in the bedroom.
Ooh, nearly forgot. The towels are minuscule. If you’re larger than Jeanette Crankie then bring your own.
Room 206, a little bit of Guantanamo Bay.

Tiny room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Nice location with easy walk to center and train station. Just a place to sleep really.
The glaring blue light on the bedroom ceiling was annoying but it must be there for safety reasons apparently. The room keys work for all rooms which is a huge security issue. We accidentally entered the wrong room while someone was sleeping. Very embarrassing but our key should never have been able to unlock it! Also, there was no fresh air. I understand they are basement rooms but air circulation should be improved.

Everything, location was great, staff were friendly and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, great value for money
Nothing!!

It was quiet and clean and the staff were quite friendly. It was located in the city center and near to various bistros.
The kettle in the room was not clean so I couldnot use it at all. It was the only point of disappointment. The fan in the room was a bit loud which would be better if it was an option to turn it off.

Friendly staff, quick to help..
averagely close to the destination we had plans for (expedition centre)
Hill was a killer lol but that’s just my condition that made it worse lol

bed was comfy apart from very lumpy pillows, it was clean , it’s very near all the great bars and entertainment and places to eat. our friends had an apartment which was certainly much better worth it.
nothing like the pictures , badly needs carpets cleaned and walls painted, we were in the basement but the rooms were way too hot , so wouldn’t recommend getting a room without a window .
