Great Night Sleep
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy and spacious. It was quiet in the evening. The location is excellent withing easy reach of Liverpool one and the Royal Albert Dock. Close to St Georges hall.
The Bed spread was rather thin and the bathroom, the hand rail really needs to be at the other end to help you out of the bath as it is quite high.

Noisy with no sleep
Great location and friendly staff
Night club was way too loud, was leaving at 5am and went to bed at 10pm, totally ruined the stay as the noise was ridiculous, the proximity of the room to the night club is not conducive to a good nights sleep, the entire point of staying at a hotel is to have a good nights sleep, something that didn’t happen on this occasion. Really poor, was exhausted the next day, I’d never stay here again.

Very good.
Overall the hotel and room were very good. I particularly liked the staff. Always very helpful and polite, and it was not contrived, their pleasant manner was very natural.
The lighting in the room could have had a dimmer switch and the shower flow control could have been better. The breakfasts were nice but a little overpriced at £15.

Convenient
Location was perfect for us as we were moving our daughter into student accommodation just around the corner. Housekeeping staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful.
Decor was a wee bit dated. Reception staff (one in particular) quite cool and bordering on rude. She seemed surprised that two middle aged women might be sharing a room. Surprise - we are actually a married couple, but we shouldn’t need to explain that in the year 2024. Following our reply confirming that, yes, we were staying together in one room, her demeanour changed from somewhat friendly to disregarding. Around about that moment, the girl from housekeeping ran downstairs from the 4th floor with the car key we’d left behind, demonstrating for the woman behind the reception desk what a friendly, open, inclusive and helpful work ethic should look like. Some staff training on openness and adopting an inclusive stance, despite personally held beliefs, might not go amiss here.

Easy stay 😎
Our bed was very comfy 😊 The girls at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Perfect walking distance to the city center and public transport.
More possibilities for hanging, especially when clothes got wet. More space for putting things in the bathroom would be nice.
