Comfy night away without our kids

Front desk staff and concierge very welcoming! Room as very clean and bed super comfy

Unfortunately the breakfast was a huge let down. For the price it had very little options - food was ok.

Fabulous anniversary

Location fantastic. Pool facilities were great. Staff were awesome. Comfortable room. Stayed for our wedding anniversary. Received an upgrade to room with a view of the Harbour Bridge. 10 minutes after arriving at room, complimentary prosecco arrived with a card. Very classy and hugely appreciated.

Breakfast was busy and staff couldn't restock food quick enough at times. However, staff were very accommodating for anything asked for.

Location great, bed comfy, pool /spa nice

Love the location and access to restaurants, bars, Skytower, Woolies a short walk away. Bed was comfy. Room was great. Swimming pool was nice, spa pool amazing.

We booked a portacot, arrived well after 3pm check in. Was told that one was already set up in the room. No cot was put together when we arrived. We waited for someone to come and nobody did. As it got later, my toddler fell asleep on the bed and I cbf chasing up Housekeeping. Its not the first time they've forgotten. One time I chased staff up multiple times before someone arrived after 9pm to set it up. I wasnt going to repeat the chasing again as the cot was meant to be in the room like I was told it was. We slept with our toddler for our two nights.

Overall the stay at the Grand was luxury and casual in one. Simply lovely.

The convenience of being so close to Queen Street was what got my attention. 24 hour check in meant I could get off my late flight and enjoy my room being ready for me and my friends to have valet, get ready amd walk over to the casino. Buffet breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety. It made our night easier that we could order drinks to be delivered to our room while we got ready. Highly recommend

Every room should have a balcony or at least an opening window for fresh air.

Grand stay

Nice, very clean modern rooms. Great city view and handy having chrome cast on the tv. Loved having the bath. The hotel is beautiful. Loved the gym, pool, spa and sauna set up. The location is great as it’s close to Queen street and lots of great dining options. Plus a great view of the Sky Tower from the hotel.

The lifts took a long time as one of them is being upgraded. That wasn’t a big deal but when we went to use the stairs we didn’t realise until we were many floors down that the doors are all locked and you can’t get in even with the key card so we were quite stuck. Luckily we found a staff member who was able to let us back in. This was very frustrating though not being able to use the stairs. Also no guest laundry so we had to use the laundromat across the road. Both machines were faulty and it took ages to get one load complete. The gluten free and dairy free options were extremely limited for in room dining and the buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast restaurant was stunning but it was disappointing there wasn’t much I could actually eat.

It was a wonderful base for a great anniversary night out in Auckland!

Great spot to park up for the weekend. Has a nice vibe and the staff are always friendly.

Location is perfect to base yourself at. The hotel and rooms are tidy and luxurious. Pool, spa and sauna are a plus.

Lovely welcoming staff especially the Concierge Chris such a polite helpful man a credit to the hote

Breakfast was great. And awesome location, though we were a bit spooked by the Ponsonby shooting and the elderly lady that was assaulted right next to the Hotel.

The only thing you could improve are the cups in the rooms need to be replaced with coffee mugs they were way too small.

Our favorite place to stay in Auckland

Our usual spot to stay when in Auckland. Awesome being on the 20th floor. The room was expensive, but you do get both bath and shower, I suppose. The location. The smells and cleanliness.

For the price of this room even though on the 20th floor which was awesome we expected to have the harbour/bridge/skytower views but we got the otherside of just a building opposite us so that was disappointing.

would have been the perfect stay if the shower wasnt a problem

The view was amazing, bed was very comfortable

Had difficulty with the shower as there were two different shower heads, also having to get it at the right temperature to be able to take a shower.

A nice treat to stay in central Auckland with a bit of luxury.

Very modern. Great central location. Huge rooms. Bath and shower which is nice to have. Good view despite being in a rear room. Amazing hot tub and pool.

I did feel slightly over priced for what it was. Breakfast was expensive.

Room good and location great

Room not being serviced, having to book a service seems a bit archaic. There was an offer for a $20 credit if you didn't want a service but no door tag requesting a service I had to book through reception. No service until 3pm is bit late in my view.
