Republic Apartments offered a spacious room in a prime location which was perfect for our stay in Brisbane. We had a great view of Fortitude Valley and the towers on Adelaide/Queen street. The facilities inside the room were very useful and helped us have a very comfortable stay.
With a supermarket at our doorstep and Story bridge + restaurants a 5 minute walk (or 2 minute E-scooter) away we were thrilled with the location. 5 stars from us!
Gym needed more weights. Corridor had a lingering consistent smell of spices and cooking
3.5
Central to everything east to get to
Apartments are noisy traffic and from apartments above
4.5
The elevator is fast and not crowded during my stay. I've stayed in other apartment blocks in Brisbane which can be a nightmare waiting for crowded lifts, not so here.
Reception hours are limited. Not really an issue if you figure out how to collect the key after hours and how to drop it off if leaving before opening time.
4.0
Road noise particularly overnight. Great difficulty sleeping.

Fantastic location and views, decor is dated and plain but no complaints as this makes it more affordable. Interaction with staff at check-in was pleasant and faultless. Will be back as much as possible!
No complaints 😊
4.5
The hotel is nothing short of luxurious with friendly staff.
There’s nothing to dis-like about the hotel

Kitchen is small

The spa and pool are always great. Wonderful staff and rooms.
4.0
Location was very central for where we had to go. Our apartment was clean and tidy. Pool and gym was convenient and like the warm pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.
WIFI connection could be better, it keeps falling out as I was doing my work. Foxtel subscription was very limited. A lot of the station that we wanted to go to was not available.
4.5
Location was good for bus and train connectivity. Near to Adelaide street and restaurants.
Kitchen could have more pots and pans for cooking. Bed linen could be replaced in 3 days instead of 5.
5.0
Central to Brisbane , close to Railway and Buss routes and River boats
4.0
Fairly good location.
Ample space
Found there was an ant issue. A few were crawling around on the kitchen countertop the day we arrived and continued to keep coming even though we removed them and thoroughly cleaned the area. Surprising as we were 16 floors up so not sure where they were coming from. I suggest looking into it. Had to keep all food items in the fridge.
Common areas were stuffy and hot with no air flow.
3.0
The location was great and having essentials next door such as Woolies, Priceline and Subway made things so much easier.
The indoor pool had too much chemicals in it that my daughter had a reaction. Plus the bottom of pool felt like there was grit. The bed linen made both our daughters skin itchy. Both the toilets in our room had a long whiney sound very time we flushed. The hallway always smelt of spices so it meant we stayed next door to residents and not other visitors. It wasn’t pleasant every time we stepped into the hallway. You hear all the noise on the street (even the vagrants and drug addicts shouting- fair enough we were near Woolies so it attracted such types late at night).
3.5
location is great, especially with Woolworths right below.
not much storage space, not ver baby friendly, ie. balcony has gaps, probably should note this on property description, floor wasn’t very clean both inside and out.

Walking distance to southbank
All good

Great location for what we needed
Apartment was a good size but just starting to look a bit worn out
4.0
pool, sauna and gym facilities were clean and enjoyable. Close to Story Bridge and the City. next door to Springhill Marketplace with Woolworths.
4.5
Great location very close to public transport and access to the river.
little bit tired on the inside could do with an update. Foxtel has most channels locked out and says the package needs to be upgraded.
4.0

furniture was uncomfortable
3.0
location
air condition was not good . very hot inside. fans were not good
4.5
The location is great....next to woolworths, near the icon bridge, downtown can reach by walk
Nothing
2.0
Proximity to the city
Constant noise from the exhaust fans of an industrial scale aircon set in the adjacent building, and road traffic noise through out the night.
4.5
Great location with car parking and pool made it very family friendly. It was clean and had a well equipped kitchen.
The kitchen was in need of an update. Large scorch marks behind the stove and the range hood was not working at its best.
