The position was perfect, with so many great walks, the ponies came right up to the fencing & it was so tranquil. The staff were so professional, couldn’t do enough for you & the rooms were lovely, with great views & the added toiletries & coffee/tea facilities were ideal.

The location/middle of nature
Clean
Quiet(maybe a bit loud the electric charging, but life is not perfect)
Lovely arrangement per room/hotel.
3.5
A fresh look and feel in the public areas, as if it had recently been redecorated.
We were given a double room, but immediately moved to a King, as stated in the booking
An awful smell, like rotten drains.
Incredibly noisy guests in adjacent room, which was not noticed/challenged by staff
3.5
The room and bathroom were spacious and big enough for a family of 4 with young children. Within the hotel lovely spaces for relaxation and outside play area. The boys loved the swimming pool. Spectacular location.
Quite dated and could do with some refurbishment. Very slow service at the restaurant, hence long wait for both breakfast and dinner, not convenient when with young children. Also quite a few items unavailable on the menu.

To many trains although not very noisy.

great hotel connected to a pub in stunning surroundings, staff were super friendly.
it was a great stay, stayed 3 nights in the end, only thing was, early morning garbage collection/ deliveries/ laundry collection were noisy in the car park. quite early. 6am to 8.
3.5
it was in a good location
looking at the property we stayed in, there were lots of marks over the wall as we made our way to our room. with in our room there were stains over the carpet, cracks on the ceiling joints, marks over the wall, part of the wall covering by the bed had been scraped. in the bathroom the shower head wouldn’t stay up while having a shower.
we was disappointed with the cooked breakfast as it was cold.
3.5
Nicely situated.
shower didn’t work properly in our room, they changed our room the following morning but should have been checked beforehand.

We loved everything! The location is beautiful as is the hotel.
The staff were all so lovely, polite and helpful. The decor everywhere looks lush.
Just the menu in the drift for dinner, not many options or variety. Breakfast however was amazing.
3.5
Breakfast was brilliant - plenty of options and great value! Our 6 year old loved the play area and we all enjoyed spending time in the beautifully decorated lounge & bar area.
Not much... maybe another bedside lamp?
3.5
Good location, pet friendly, plenty of parking and lovely restaurant/ pub next door.
Hot room , mouldy bathroom, dangerous plug sockets in room hanging out of wall , non functioning shower , maid knocking on door to see how long before we check out.
3.5
ideal location for new forest right in centre of it all. dogs extremely welcome
3.5
the pool is fantastic
unfortunately the staff were so poor and the service was not great particularly at the restaurant! It is such a shame as there is so much potential at the hotel

No hot water in the room; the staff were so unhelpful, dirty room
3.5
the staff were very friendly
the shower head didn’t stay up
bath drained away very slowly
toilet didn’t flush properly
the room next door the fan in the bathroom is very loud, was woken up at 6.50am, not the restful Sunday we were expecting
3.5
Lovely hotel with attentive staff. the pub and bar area have recently been refurbished, the rooms are slightly dated but a really good size.
3.5
Setting, staff and facilities were great, grandkids loved the pool in the nasty weather.
Restauranr - Breakfast on 1st morning, food came out in dribs and drabs and fish and chips at supper was overcooked and dry.
3.5
Lovely bar and staff, although £10 for a glass of wine.
The shower wasn't high enough, even for a short person. The carpet and the hallway at the top of the stairs smelled awful and was stained and ripped. The room was boiling which made it difficult to sleep and the family next door were very noisy with the metal bunk bed ladder very early in the morning. It is also called the Beaulieu Inn not the Beaulieu Hotel as indicated on booking.com so made it more difficult to find in the fog as we were looking for a different name.
3.5
set in a beautiful location the hotel is a lovely old building
